Hana had no choice but to agree, although she gave Leona no kind words..
But Leona felt that once she entered that door, Dave would accept her.
After learning the full story, Dave was so enraged that he threw his phone to the ground, his anger boiling over.

She personally sent Leona into Dave’s house.
Upon seeing Dave, Leona stood frozen in place, but Dave’s face showed no emotion.
“What do you want?”
Leona, with watery eyes, immediately grabbed his hand. “I miss you. Your mother has already agreed for us to be together. I don’t want anything else now. I just want to be with you.”
Her tone was filled with pleading.
If she had said these words to him earlier, perhaps he would have believed her.
But now, with every word she spoke, he felt nothing but hypocrisy.
He shoved Leona away with force. “I don’t want to be with you. The further you stay away from me, the better.”

Tears slid down the corners of her eyes as she gently stroked her belly. “Dave, you may not like me, but our child…”
Dave turned away, unwilling to look at her any longer.
Hearing the mention of the child, he coldly replied, “This child, better off not being born.”
Leona’s eyes widened in shock, staring at Dave’s back. He seemed so distant, so unfamiliar to her now.
“What did you say?”
Dave knew better than anyone that this child was nothing more than Leona’s bargaining chip. Did she ever really want to keep the child? It was all part of her calculated scheme. But Kate had never tried to manipulate him like that.

toward the bedroom. The room felt empty, too many of Kate’s belongings missing. It made the space feel cold and hollow.
He instructed the servants to buy the things needed to restore the room to its original state, just as it had been before.
Dave froze for a moment when he saw Leona lying beside him. For a brief second, he thought it was Kate who had returned. But as soon as he snapped back to reality, he immediately got out of bed. The movement woke Leona.
“Dave, what’s wrong?” Leona asked, her voice soft.
Dave’s expression turned grim. “Who told you to get in my bed?” he asked coldly, his patience running thin.
Leona’s smile faded as she sensed the
coldness in Dave’s tone. She tried to maintain a casual air, assuming he was just shy. “It’s not the first time, so what’s wrong? We’ve been through this for so many days

now, don’t you want me to keep you company?”
Dave glared at her with contempt. His voice was icy and firm. “This is my and Kate’s bedroom. Get out!”
The words struck Leona like a dagger, causing her to immediately change her tone. “Kate? She’s been gone for so long and you’re still thinking about her? She did it on purpose, she doesn’t want to see you again!”
He attacked Dave like a beast and Dave could no longer control his temper.
He pulled Leona over with all his strength, even if she accidentally fell to the ground, he remained indifferent.
No matter how she screamed, Dave locked her out of the door.
