Drake rushed out of the hotel, followed closely by Kale.
“Boss, why are we in such a hurry?”
“You wouldn’t understand.”
Drake strode toward the parking lot, but Marion’s car was gone.
He frowned in confusion. By right, Marion couldn’t get his car away so quickly.
“Boss, what are you looking for?”
“The car.
“Huh?”
“Where’s Marion’s car?”
“Driven away? I guess.”
“Driven away.”
Drake’s mind raced. Given Marion’s character, he wouldn’t just leave without causing
trouble.
Something then hit Drake, and he cursed, “Shit!”
“Boss, what’s wrong?”
Drake didn’t answer, instead quickening his pace toward his Ferrari. There it was, with two wheels missing.
He had taken one wheel of Marion’s car, and Marion retaliated with more despicable methods.
Just then, a Bentley circled the hotel. Debra rolled down the window and laughed, “Mr. Lowe, it looks like your days here are numbered. Go back to Orkgate and be your big shot.”
“Debra!” Drake growled through gritted teeth.
Inside the car, Marion smirked and floored the gas pedal.
A cloud of smoke immediately billowed into the air. Kale instinctively stepped in front of Drake, shielding him from the fumes. But even so, they both found themselves choking.
Through the haze, Drake could just make out Debra, flipping him the bird from the passenger seat.
Drake was enraged, and Kale quickly advised, “Boss, let’s not stoop to their level.”

Drake pointed at the Ferrari, his voice barely controlled. “Tell me, how am I supposed to deal with this? Carry it back?”
“I’ll call a towing company,” Kale said, pulling out his phone.
Drake’s vision swam with rage, his head pounding,
“Get another car here. I need to see Juan.”
“Yes, boss,”
Across town at the Eaton Mansion, Garland had been waiting in his room for a while.
Finally, he heard the door open, and Juan walked in.
“So, how did I do today?” Garland asked eagerly.
It was his first time speaking as much as Fermin in public, and he was excited by the experience.
Juan took off his jacket. “Aside from those few things you shouldn’t have said, everything else was fine.”
“I knew it. I’ve got talent,” Garland crowed.
Garland puffed out his chest and declared, “If you ever need help, just come to me.”
“Not for now,” Juan replied, removing the mask from his face and changing into more comfortable clothes. “I’m going out.”
“Where are you going so late?”
“I need to meet someone. You stay here and study. I should be back before morning.”

“Garland muttered. “Well, we have those kinds of businesses too. Just remember to take proper precautions.”
