Chapter 15
Elisa’s lips curled into a cruel smile as she extended her phone toward Erick, the damning video already queued.
“It was Bianca’s car that lost control and crashed into a truck,” she said coldly, her voice devoid of compassion. “Watch this.”
Erick’s hands trembled as he took the device. His thumb hesitated over the play button, but the weight of her gaze and his own guilt forced him to press it.
The video began with footage from Bianca’s dashcam. The chaotic streets blurred past as the car swerved slightly, Bianca’s voice faintly audible in the background, humming an unsteady tune. Then, a message alert popped up on her dashboard display, revealing Sabrina’s cruelly timed video.
In the clip, Sabrina wore a triumphant smile as she flaunted her wedding dress

and the ceremony in progress. “Say goodbye to your husband, Bianca. He’s mine now,” she said with venomous glee.
The moment the message ended, the car’s wheel jerked violently and the screen tilted wildly. Tires screeched and the final frame showed Bianca’s body slammed forward before the feed cut to static.
Erick’s jaw clenched as the phone nearly slipped from his hand.
“You see,” Elisa began, her voice biting as she glanced at Sabrina, who was cowering behind him. “Your bride sent that video knowing it would destroy Bianca. Her provocation wasn’t just malicious–it was fatal.”
Sabrina’s ashen face shot up in shock, tears streaking down her cheeks as she shook her head. “I didn’t know she was driving! I didn’t mean for this to happen!”
Her frantic plea was met with silence until Erick’s head turned slowly toward her, his

face a mask of fury and grief.
“You,” he hissed, his voice barely above a whisper but laced with venom. “You killed your sister.”
Sabrina recoiled as though struck. “No… No, Erick, please!” she stammered, backing away as his rage boiled over.
Without warning, Erick’s hand lashed out, striking her across the face with enough force to send her sprawling to the floor. Her cry of pain echoed through the sterile hospital room.
“Eric, please!” Sabrina sobbed, clutching her face as her cheek swelled. “I didn’t know! I swear, I didn’t know!”
But Erick’s eyes burned with a fury that offered no room for forgiveness. He gestured sharply to his bodyguards, who stepped forward without hesitation.
“Take her away,” he ordered, his voice hollow. “I never want to see her again.”

Sabrina screamed and struggled as the guards dragged her from the room, her cries fading into the distance. Erick turned back to Bianca’s still form, his shoulders slumping as he fell to his knees beside her bed.
“Bianca,” he whispered, his voice breaking. “Let’s go home.”
But as he reached to lift her, Elisa stepped in front of him, blocking his path.
“Not so fast,” she said, her voice like ice.
“The video isn’t finished. Watch the rest.”
Erick froze, his heart pounding. Slowly, he turned his gaze back to the screen, his trembling hands holding the phone like it might shatter in his grasp.
The video resumed. It showed the aftermath of the crash, with Bianca.

activating a faint automated voice.
But then her head lifted slightly and her gaze locked on something outside the window. The camera’s angle didn’t show what she saw, but her expression said. everything. Her lips parted in a silent cry and tears streamed down her bloodied
face.
Her hand fell limply to her side. She made no further attempts to save herself.
The video ended.
Erick’s breaths came in shallow gasps, his body trembling violently. “No,” he
whispered, shaking his head in denial. “No, she wouldn’t…”
“She saw you, Erick,” Elisa spat, her voice trembling with fury. “She saw your wedding car. She saw you and Sabrina together. And in that moment, she decided she had nothing left to live for.”
Erick staggered backward, his legs nearly giving out. His mind raced, the weight of

the revelation crashing down on him like a tidal wave.
“Do you understand now?” Elisa pressed, her voice rising. “You didn’t just cheat on her. You didn’t just break her heart. You killed her. You and your precious mistress destroyed her!”
Erick’s knees buckled and he fell to the floor, clutching his chest as though the pain of her words were physical. Tears streamed down his face, his cries raw and guttural.
“Bianca,” he sobbed, pounding his fists against the cold tile. “I’m sorry. I’m so
sorry.”
Around him, murmurs filled the room as onlookers whispered their disgust.
“He deserves this,” someone muttered.
“Karma,” another said coldly. “He destroyed her and now it’s destroying him.”

In a private room at the funeral home, Elisa stood beside Bianca’s lifeless body. Her face, usually so stern, now carried a gentle smile.
“Bianca,” she whispered, brushing a stray strand of hair from her friend’s cold forehead. “It’s time to wake up.”
A doctor stepped forward, administering a vial of experimental fluid into Bianca’s arm. The room fell silent as Elisa held her breath, her hands clasped tightly together.
Minutes passed. Then, faintly at first, Bianca’s chest began to rise and fall. Her fingers twitched and her eyes fluttered
open.
She blinked slowly, her gaze locking onto Elisa’s tear–filled eyes.
