Chapter 30
Bianca awoke to a peaceful morning, the sunlight streaming through the curtains. She dressed simply, opting for a soft white blouse and comfortable slacks. As she stepped outside to greet the day, the air smelled fresh, carrying the faint aroma of blooming flowers.
But the tranquility was shattered by the roar of an engine.
Her head snapped toward the street just in time to see a car hurtling toward her at a reckless speed. Her heart stopped, her pupils contracting in shock as adrenaline surged through her veins.
“Bianca, watch out!”
The desperate scream pierced the air. Before she could react, Erick’s familiar figure appeared, sprinting toward her with all his might. His face was etched with panic, his outstretched hands reaching for

her as though his life depended on it.
Bianca’s instincts kicked in. With a sharp gasp, she pushed Erick aside, her own body bracing for the impact.
But in the next moment, Nathan‘ s strong arms encircled her, pulling her into a tight embrace. He rolled them both to safety, their bodies hitting the ground with a thud. Dust filled the air as the car veered off course and crashed into the gate pillar of
the Stanton estate.
The explosion that followed was deafening. Flames erupted, licking at the sky as smoke billowed outward..
In the driver’s seat, Sabrina’s figure was barely visible through the haze. Her face, pale and streaked with tears, turned toward Bianca one last time. Her lips moved faintly, whispering, “I’m sorry.
Bianca stared in stunned silence, her breath caught in her throat. The words reached her ears, but their meaning felt

distant, like a dream slipping through her fingers.
Nathan held Bianca tightly, his chest rising and falling rapidly. His pulse raced, but his grip was steady, his arms a protective cocoon around her trembling form. “It’s okay,” he whispered, his voice low and soothing. “You‘ re safe now.”
Bianca nodded numbly, her hands clutching at his shirt. Her mind was a whirlwind of emotions fear, relief and confusion swirling together.
A few feet away, Erick stood frozen, hist expression blank. His eyes followed Bianca, but the realization that she had risked her life to push him away slowly
dawned on him.
She didn’t love him anymore. That truth hit him harder than any physical blow.

Later, news of Erick s departure spread. Without a word to anyone, he had left for
an unknown destination abroad. Nathan had prepared to deal with him directly, but in light of Erick s selfless act of saving Bianca, the Stanton family chose to let him
- go.
For Bianca, the ordeal marked the start of a
new chapter. Like a bamboo shoot emerging after a storm, she found herself growing stronger, nurtured by the sunlight and rain of her new life.
Three years later, Bianca stood at the altar, her hand in Nathan’s as they exchanged vows. The sunlight streaming through the chapel windows bathed them in a golden glow, their smiles radiant with hope and love.
Five years later, Bianca cradled a newborn in her arms, her face glowing with maternal joy. The cries of her baby filled the room, a symphony of new beginnings.

Eight years later, her name lit up international film awards. Bianca, once a woman haunted by her past, now stood as a beacon of talent and resilience, adored by millions.
More than a decade later, in a dimly lit cinema, a man with streaks of gray in his hair sat quietly, his eyes fixed on the screen. Erick’s face was lined with age, his expression unreadable as he watched Bianca‘ s performance.
“Do you like this movie too?” a young voice whispered beside him.
Erick didn’t reply. His gaze remained on the screen, where the woman he once loved shone like a distant star–brilliant, untouchable and forever out of reach.
