Chapter 130
RAMON & POV
ng mattered.
I couldn’t stop myself. It was like an inferno had formed when she kissed me. Nothing
It didn’t matter that we were right in front of my wolves, and everyone was watching.
It didn’t matter that she was on trial, and I couldn’t afford to be blaseil.
None of that mattered the second she was boll enough to kiss me.
All I thought of doing was to hold her by the waist, pull her into my body, and consummate our bond.
“For someone who says they can hold off until after the full moon, that was one hell of a kiss.”
I blinked, and saw Blane beside me. I couldn’t believe I had been so deep in my head someone crept up on me, and I didn’t notice. Not until they had already gotten to me.
If I was in danger, I would have been killed already.
Why are you here
are you here, Blane! You should be bringing me Jack’s head.”
“I know, and I’m working on it. We don’t make our move, until dark. I just couldn’t help but to attend the gathering for the trial. Imagine my surprise when I walked in just in time to see your tongue shoved deep into-
I grabbed him by the neck, and pushed him against the nearest wall I found
“That was just a kiss. I’m not going to lose the bet!” I growled.
He raised his hand, signaling he had surrendered.
I removed my hand, and he dropped to the ground.
“Wow, you are testy today. Is it the full moon!”
“Leave me alone, Blane.”
“Why? Don’t tell me you’re worried about what the pack people will think of you? Perhaps, that their alphas‘ hearts have been compromised. He should be taking revenge on the girl who’s father betrayed him, and yet, there he stood, kissing her hungrily.
“Enough, Blane!”
I absolutely detested the picture he was painting. I was no weakling. Far from it. It had to be the full moon.
was messing with my head. Making it difficult to push her away.
How could I win this bet? When the whole point of the freaking full moon was to bring mates together?
“I’m just trying to tell you that your wolves respect you. If they see your heart has softened towards the girl, they’ll soften their hearts too. The only person you have to worry about is Lorena. If she realizes she’s fighting a losing battle, she would turn to the people. With her fine manipulative expertise, she would urge them to rise up against Sonia I just hope at that point, you’d have loved her enough to fight for her”
“That’s never going to happen, Blane,” I shook my head.”
- “I could never love the daughter of the man who ruined my life. Never!”
I continued ahead as fast as my legs could take me, leaving Blane behind.
I just didn’t want to
to hear from him anymore.
They were all on Sonia’s side. No one wanted to see reasons with me.
How could they not understand that I couldn’t allow myself to feel for her! What would that make me?
I made a vow on the grave of
my
parents. An eye for an eye.
The plan was simple. By the time I was done toying with Ferins, just when he’s about to give in to me, I would kill her. 1/3
Chapter 130
That was the plan. But if I allowed myself to be consumed by my desire to claim her, how then could I proceed with that plan.
I raised my head and saw I was at the bank of the river, just about to walk into it
Dropping to the ground, I folded my legs, as I watched the flowing water.
Everything was so strange. Nothing made sense anymore.
It used to be pretty black and white. Find the girl, toy with Ferins, kill her.
“How could you make her my mate?” I looked into the sky questioning the moon goddess.
“What kind of cruel fate is that?”
I thought I would be able to hold back, forever.
1 am Ramon, the alpha of bloodmoon. I should be stronger than fate. I should be able to hold destiny by its neck, and twist it until it bends to my will.
But look at me now. The fight was getting fiercer, and I was losing my control.
So hard, 1-
I turned around swiftly, and my hands stretched out to grab the neck of the person that crept up on me.
Raising them up by their neck, I smashed them to the ground.
My hand remained on their neck, while the other free hand took off their mask.
“Who are you, and why are you following me?” I asked, not exactly recognizing the face.
I have- I have a message,” she struggled to say with my hand strangling his neck.
1 pulled out enough f for him to be able to speak freely.
“A message from who?”
Tasked.
“From Alpha Ferins. He coughed.
My heart leaped in anticipation. He had finally reached out to me.
“What does he want?”
“He says he has thought about it long enough, and finally has a response.”
“What is his response?” I asked between my teeth, holding my breath
for an eye
“What?” I raised a brow
“An eye for an eye,” he
repeated
“No, I heard you. I just want 10-
The bastard hit his tongue before I could press him for an explanation.
Right before my eyes, he took his last breath.
“No, wake up, you bastard?” i growled, smacking his face.
He was dead. There was nothing I could do about it.
I couldn’t even ask him how he managed to enter into my pack, undetected.
We were deeply compromised, but that wasn’t my focus now.

Chapter 130
“An eye for an eye.”
My head shot up, as the dead man’s voice rang in my ear again.
“Ivy!”
Jumping to my feet, I took my clothes off, and shifted into my wolf.
