Chapter 213
SONLAS POV
I looked around my room, memorizing bits of it.
Thad done this before, but I didn’t mind doing it again.
My first few weeks at bloodmoon, the memories I had of my room had helped in making things a little less horrible than they were supposed to be
I was doing it again, because soon, I would be leaving.
“See baby,” I touched my stomach as I spoke. “This is your mom’s room. Cool right? I can’t believe I’ve stayed in this room ever since I was a little girl.
I walked towards my closet, and began looking through it.
“Right here. I’m royalty. But you won’t believe your royalty of a a mum was once subjected to the duties of a slave. I adapted quickly, of course. However, I’d be a liar to say it was easy.”
I began to pull out clothes after clothes Vanity might be the definition, but I didn’t care that I was obsessed with clothes.
It was one of the things I missed the most when I was taken to the bloodmoon…
“Your mama had to settle for rags, until things got a little better. Then I had this
My eyes caught the dress, and I paused my speech.
It was the dress I had been wearing when I was returned back to Silverpaw.
The same dress Ramon had left me in our last intimate moments together.
Despite the hatred my heart was growing for him, I found myself smiling at those memories,
That day in particular had been like a dream.
To me, it was supposed to kickstart a new dawn in our relationship.
My face fell as the aftermath of all of that hit my memory.
It was a memorable day alright. I was taken back home, only to find out that all these while, he was just using my body as a pleasure dummy.
Whilst I was promising to help him through his rage, and bitterness, he was planning to suck me dry, and when I’m nothing but dust, continue his relationship with Lorena.
“You’re not worthy of us,” I said in a determined voice, as I held my belly tightly.
He was never going to know about this child. That much I could vow.
I also didn’t have it in me to wish him happiness with Lorena,
In fact, I hoped that they would suffer for the rest of their lives, while I thrived with my child.
A knock sounded on my door, and before I could put myself together, the door opened.
Sed paused at the entrance, as he stared around my room that was in such a messy state because I was packing up,
Slowly, he closed the door behind him, and walked up to ine with a boule in his hand.
“Here, I brought you some cool juice. The afternoon sun is scorching,” he said, handing the battle containing cold juice in it.
“You’re the best,” I replied, as I opened the drink and began to gulp it down. “Slow down, greedy!” * He said in a teasing voice, followed by genuine laughter.
“But it tastes so good and so refreshing.” I said after swallowing half of the boule. 1/2

know, and that’s why I brought it for you. But what is all of this, Sonia? didn’t know better, I’d swear you’re going on a long vacation,” he said, and I could clearly read the confusion, and curiosity in his face.
I wanted to tell him so bad. We used to be closer than this. I hated how much I just couldn’t trust him with my plans.
He deserved better, I knew that. I also knew that I couldn’t tell him until I was completely sure he had taken my side.
I’m just rearranging.“1 lied. “I should have done this already, but I was bored today, and decided it was time.”
“Really? Are you sure you can handle it on your own? I mean do you need my help?”
“Oh no!” I shook my head. “I think you have better things to do, right? I mean surely, you have to have something to do, right

As I asked, I prayed to the moon goddess in my heart that he wouldn’t insist on staying.
It wouldn’t take him long to figure out I was packing my things with the hope of an escape.
“Yeah, I do. I’m supposed to train the warriors today. I don’t understand why Cade is suddenly giving me more responsibilities when it comes to fighting. He used to say I was too pretty to do anything but use the brain 1 thankfully had.”
“That definitely sounds like a Cade thing to do, and say,” I chuckled.
“They’re so imposing Sometimes, I wonder how Castiel, and Craig manage to be so calm.”
comes to this kind of authority.” I said, still counting the seconds until he
“I didn’t hear you mention your name. You’re also always chilled when it co was gone.
“I guess,” he shrugged. “Anyway, I’ll leave you alone to continue whatever it is you’re doing. Don’t drink the juice too fast. You’d choke,” he warned.
“I won’t”
He had walked to the door, when I began opening the juice bottle again.
“Sonia!!*
“I said I won’t!” I replied, a little bit startled.
He laughed, and walked out of the room. I waited for his footsteps to fade away, before I began to gulp the juice again.
It was just so good, refreshing, and energetic.
I emptied the bottle, and turned around to the mess in my room.
From my calculations, I had less than seven days more in this pack.
Seven days before father would ask for a sit down again..
Before that happened, I had to go far away.
1 could care less if Jed backed off now. It wouldn’t stop a thing.
“Alright baby. Let’s pack up in preparation for our lives that are about to change.”
Energetically, I began to fold, and toss the chosen clothes into my escape luggage.
