Chapter 59 Beg for Another Chance
After Charles reprimanded Jeremy, he didn’t dare waste any more time and led Osborn into the operating room.
Everything was ready, and the surgery could begin at any
moment.
As William looked at the red light on the operating room door, he raised his hands in prayer.
The pale–faced female nurse stepped out of the crowd and suddenly collapsed at Abigail’s feet. The arrogance and
domineering attitude that had been on her face were completely
gone.
The nurse cried bitterly, even attempting to cling to Abigail’s legs, “Ms. Winchester, I’m sorry. I realize I made a mistake. I was so stupid to offend you. Please forgive me.”
Abigail felt no sympathy for her.
If it weren’t for Marcus and Osborn, her biological mother might have missed the best treatment time because of this nurse’s prejudice.
Compared to a life, the nurse losing her job was nothing.
Seeing Abigail remain silent with a cold expression, the nurse gritted her teeth and began slapping herself.

“I shouldn’t have been biased. I’m sorry. I would do anything for
you.”
She slapped herself several times and then continued begging Abigail, William, and Troy for forgiveness.
William and Troy both turned away, unwilling to look at the nurse any longer.
The nurse, with her hands covering her face, cried even more desperately and mournfully said, “Ms. Winchester, I have. parents and children to take care of.”
“Don’t try to play the pity card. It’s useless,” Abigail said coldly.
The nurse was physically capable, and even if she left Reginald Hospital, she could certainly find a new job.
If Abigail didn’t teach her a lesson, she wouldn’t make any changes.
Realizing she had no other choice, the nurse wiped her tears and left, her head hanging low.
After the nurse left, Abigail glanced meaningfully at Jeremy.
Jeremy’s face stiffened, and he maintained his dignity, frowning as he said sharply, “What are you looking at? You don’t seriously expect me, as an elder, to apologize to you, do you?
“Be smart, and tell Dr. Weber that you have forgiven me. Only

then will you have a chance to reconcile with Felix. If I lose my job, even if you cry for Felix’s forgiveness, you’ll never have another chance to marry him.”
Abigail thought, “I’m not a love–struck fool anymore. After everything I’ve been through, does he really think I still care about that trash?”
Abigail sneered coldly, mocking, “Since you’re so confident, then just pray for your good luck.”
Jeremy thought, “Is this still the same Abigail I remember, the one who was always so meek?”
Felix couldn’t stand that Jeremy was mocked, and he didn’t like how Abigail was constantly nitpicking at his family. He immediately reprimanded, “Abigail, don’t go too far. He’s my
uncle.”
Abigail laughed at Felix’s bold tone.
She sneered and said, her eyes full of contempt, “So what are you going to do about it? Are you trying to threaten me that you’re not going to marry me?”
Felix was stunned by her response. Looking into Abigail’s cold eyes, he couldn’t help but feel uneasy.
Abigail’s attitude seemed like she truly didn’t care about him.
anymore.
Before he could say anything else, Abigail continued, “Felix, if

you don’t want me to expose all the nasty things you’ve done, it’s best if you take your uncle and leave.”
She didn’t want to see them anymore.
Each member of Felix’s family made her feel disgusted..
Felix didn’t believe it and asked, “What did I do?”
“Are you sure you want me to say it here?”
Abigail looked at him leisurely, her eyes filled with disdain.
Felix gritted his teeth.
He had indeed done things that betrayed Abigail, things that could not be discussed in public. He had claimed that Abigail canceled the wedding because she was throwing a tantrum. If Abigail exposed what he did, those words would be too unconvincing.
Felix clenched his teeth and motioned for Jeremy to leave. “Uncle, let’s go. As for your job, I’ll ask my dad to help you.”
Jeremy realized there was nothing more to be done.
Before leaving, however, he didn’t forget to glare at Abigail fiercely and threaten, “Abigail, I’ll remember today. When you and Felix reconcile, I’ll let you pay the debt.”
“Thanks for the reminder, but you may never get that chance.” Abigail raised an eyebrow, her eyes full of disdain and mockery.

When Felix heard her heartless words, his mood darkened.

He thought, “For something so small, she really isn’t planning to forgive me? Fine, she’s really something. She’d better not crawl to beg me for another chance.”
