Chapter 63 Kissed Her
Marcus‘ body tensed, and his voice was hoarse. “Hmm.”
Abigail smiled with satisfaction and clung to him like a koala. Fearing that the rat would come out again, she no longer cared about embarrassment and shyness, nor had the mood mind to think about how intimate and ambiguous their postures were.
Marcus walked upstairs steadily, carrying Abigail up several
floors.
Hearing the slightly heavy breathing, Abigail, who had calmed down, asked Marcus, “Are you…tired?”
“No. You are not heavy,” Marcus responded.

Abigail blushed and gently pressed her face against his neck. She actually wanted Marcus to put her down, but she was afraid of rats, so she said shyly, “Thank you.”
Marcus‘ heart disappeared in an instant as he heard the soft and sweet voice. He thought, “What am I jealous of? Even if that man has feelings for Abigail, Abigail’s meaning to reject him is obvious. She relies on me. That’s enough.”
Abigail was still shivering after she entered the room and stood there. If Marcus hadn’t supported her, she would probably have

Marcus helped Abigail sit on the small stool at the entrance. Then he took out her slippers, squatted down in front of her. and then held her ankle

Abigail was stunned, thinking “He is going to change the shoes for me?”
The handsome man knelt on one knee in front of Abigail, pinched the edge of her high–heeled shoes, and pulled them down. It was like a scene in a romantic movie.
Abigail’s heart was pounding, and she wanted to retract her foot. But when she moved, Marcus grabbed her ankle. “Don’t move.” His low, magnetic voice was so alluring
Abigail couldn’t help but think, “There must be no one in this world who can resist Marcus‘ gentleness.”
Abigail was in a dave, and when she came to her senses, Marcus had already helped her put on a pair of soft rabbit slippers. The pair of nude high heels was in the trash can.
Marcus remained in the same posture, looked at her, and said gently, “Okay, don’t be afraid now.”
Abigail started at Marcus, her heart pounding. Then, she grabbed his wrist and looked at his chin.
Marcus also looked at Abigail with a hint of confusion in his
eyes.

Abigail said honestly, “The man who drove me back just now is Osborn Richardson. He was a senior when I was in high school, and he had courted me before.”
After Abigail finished speaking, she noticed that Marcus‘ jaw was tensed. She immediately added, “I have no feelings for him.”
A hint of surprise flashed across Marcus‘ cold eyes. Abigail’s few words delighted him. He asked, “You explained in such a hurry. Are you afraid that I’ll misunderstand?”
Abigail sat upright and nodded seriously. “I don’t want you to get me wrong. Although you may not care, we are a couple. No matter what the reason for our marriage is, honesty is the most important thing between husband and wife.”
Her sincere words were like a string of flames, igniting Marcus‘ suppressed emotions. “I care about it.” The next second, Marcus lowered his head and kissed Abigail.
Abigail was stunned, thinking, “Marcus is kissing me!” She could feel him kissing her, gently and patiently prying her lips. Their breathing intertwined.
After calming down, Abigail slightly parted her rosy lips and even kissed him.
Marcus‘ breathing became hotter, and he held her hips and picked her up.
In a panic, Abigail instinctively put her arms around his neck

and clamped her legs around his waist.
Marcus lowered his head and kissed Abigail again, and while kissing her, he walked towards the bedroom.

Abigail was placed on the bed. When she was still in a daze, Marcus leaned over her and continued to kiss her. His intense. kiss moved from her lips to her chin, neck, and chest. “Abigail… Abigail…” Marcus called her name repeatedly in a magnetic and
hoarse voice.
Abigail curled up her toes, and she felt she was burning.
Marcus stopped kissing on purpose, gently pressing his forehead against hers, and said in a hoarse voice, “I want you, Abigail. Can I?”
