Chapter 87 Unparalleled
As the car pulled up to the entrance and the door slowly opened, the first thing that caught everyone’s attention was a pair of crystal–embellished butterfly strap heels. Her dress‘ elaborate, beautiful hem quickly covered her delicate ankles.
One of the guests said, “She’s stunning.”
Another chimed in, “That aura, that figure, is absolutely flawless!”
The crowd’s exclamations echoed all the way to the hall’s
entrance.
Caroline frowned slightly and wondered who this could be. She followed their gaze and, from a distance, saw a woman walking toward them with elegance and nobility, also dressed in a Flor
gown.
The young woman’s long hair cascaded in soft waves over her chest. Her sapphire–blue gown shimmered in the warm sunlight, and the hem, just grazing her ankles, was adorned with sparkling diamonds. The waist was cinched tightly, with silver–white cloud patterns subtly etched into the fabric.
Her beauty was unparalleled.
The atmosphere in the hall buzzed with excitement as the woman drew near. Everyone lifted their glasses and looked

One person sighed, “Who is this young lady? Though they both wear Flor, her dress looks even more expensive than Caroline’s.”
Another said, “Forget the dress. Just look at her poise and presence. She outshines Caroline by miles.”
Caroline felt herself raised high, only to be knocked down just as quickly. She was seething inside but had to maintain a calm demeanor outside, not allowing the slightest hint of displeasure to show.
Meanwhile, James murmured, “This must be the heiress of
some big corporation. Maybe it could benefit our business if we could get in her good graces.” He glanced pointedly at Caroline as he spoke.
Caroline gritted her teeth and gave a slight nod. Though she felt reluctant, the thought of the woman’s high status and the opportunity to make connections helped her let go of some of her frustration.
Caroline thought, “Once I become friends with this high–society lady, I’ll make these people who flatter the powerful and look down on the weak regret it.”
With that thought, a determined gleam flashed in Caroline’s eyes as she smiled and stepped forward, ready to greet the
newcomer.
Just then, a wave of exclamations rose from the crowd ahead.

“Wait, isn’t that Abigail, the fake heiress of the Winchester family?”

Caroline thought, “Abigail? How could it be Abigail? Could they be mistaken?” Her face darkened as she pushed through the crowd to the front. She almost fainted at the sight of Abigail.
Caroline’s face turned livid, her hand clenching into a fist at her side. She thought, “It really is that bitch Abigail!
How did her skin get even better? I always saw her in loose clothes and never realized her body was so good, so full–figured.
Damn it! This little tramp must be padding her chest to steal the spotlight from me!”
Caroline looked like she was struck by lightning. James and Natalia were shocked to see Abigail as they emerged from the crowd.
Abigail hadn’t expected to run into the Winchester family here. She thought, “Didn’t Envision Group not send them an invitation? How did they get in?”
Though puzzled, Abigail, remembering she had been raised by the Winchester family, couldn’t bring herself to expose them in front of so many people.
Abigail simply lowered her head, maintaining a calm expression as she passed by Natalia, preparing to hand her invitation to the staff at the entrance for verification.

Natalia didn’t expect Abigail to completely ignore her. Her gaze involuntarily followed Abigail. She hesitantly called out, “Abigail…”
Seeing that Natalia was still focused on Abigail, Caroline clenched her fingers, almost dug into her palms, a flash of jealousy crossing her eyes.
Abigail slowly turned her head, her gaze cold and distant as she looked at Natalia. “Mrs. Winchester, is there something you need?”
Natalia was at a loss for words.
Hearing the unfamiliar title from Abigail, Natalia felt her heart sink. It used to be that she was afraid Abigail wouldn’t leave, that Abigail would stay and steal what belonged to Caroline. But now Abigail was actively distancing herself, and that actually
hurt more.
Moreover, moments ago, when they hadn’t known it was Abigail, they had talked about wanting to network with her.
Now, in front of so many people, Natalia felt the heat of embarrassment spread across her face, utterly mortified.
James was displeased and scolded Abigail, “You can’t even call her ‘Mom‘ anymore? We raised you for over 20 years, and this is how you repay us?”
Abigail sneered. Raising an eyebrow, her voice was laced with sarcasm. “Wasn’t it you who were so eager lo cut ties with me

and throw me out of the company? Now you’re blaming me for being distant?”
James was stunned, his face paling. The thought of firing Abigail, only to be threatened by the board of directors, was one of his greatest wounds. Now, Abigail was shamelessly throwing it in his face, disregarding his dignity. “What an ungrateful daughter!” He thought.
James was fuming but also wary of provoking Abigail further, which might lead her to reveal more explosive secrets. He didn’t want to make things worse.
Meanwhile, Caroline saw an opportunity and eyed Abigail’s dress. She asked, “Abigail, is your gown from Flor’s new collection? I’ve never seen this one before.”
