Kevin stared at his phone for some time before getting up to his feet with his phone in hand. In the end, he opted to go to the washroom.
I let out a sigh of relief. I should be free from Kevin once he found out about the truth, right?
The boutique’s washroom was open to all genders, so anyone could enter the washroom at any time.
Kevin and I could hear Violet proclaiming loudly in a haughty tone, “I just wanted Daniel to kill Michelle off in order to appease him. Who would’ve thought that Michelle was that pathetic? Kevin never loved her at all! He still loves me the most at the end of the day! That’s why Daniel had to kidnap me once again.
“I feel that I’ve wasted my breath in describing how much Kevin loved Michelle to Daniel back then. What a shame.”
Upon hearing Violet’s explanation, Kevin turned on his heel and returned to the wedding boutique.
At the same time, I was shocked to find out that I couldn’t follow Kevin anymore. Instead, I got chained to
Violet.

By the time Violet and her friends returned to the boutique, Kevin was in the midst of looking at a wedding dress
When he spotted Violet, he flashed her a smile. “Darling, this wedding dress looked beautiful on you just now. Why don’t we buy this one?”

Once they bought the wedding dress, Kevin started acting like a completely different person. He took care of all the wedding preparations on his own. Not only that, but he was also extremely caring and loving toward Violet.
Violet assumed that Kevin had finally tapped into his loving side. Naturally, she was smug about it.
On the day before the wedding, Kevin called Violet on the phone and told her to go to his place. Apparently, he had a surprise in store for her.
Violet thought Kevin wanted to propose to her once again before the wedding. She had always been the assertive one in the relationship, after all.
Hence, she applied some makeup to her face before hurrying over to Kevin’s apartment.
It was extremely dark in Kevin’s apartment. He was also standing in the shadows for some reason.
He gazed at Violet before pointing at the chair in the middle of the living room. “Darling, I want you to sit on that chair.”
Surprised, Violet took her seat. Kevin was quick to wrap a tie around her eyes as a makeshift blindfold.
Violet never suspected his intentions. Instead, she grew shy and flustered.
“What are you doing? Geez!”

Chapter 10
I had been standing behind Violet, so I could see what was happening very clearly.
Kevin’s expression was icy and dark. One would be frightened after noticing his expression.
He grabbed a few wires before wrapping them around Violet’s body..
Stunned, Violet asked, “What are you doing?”
Kevin replied in a gentle voice, “This is the gift I’ve prepared for you.”
But I could see everything clearly. The wires wrapped around Violet’s body were detonation wires connected to a bomb. Kevin planned to blow her up.
Next, Kevin placed the actual bomb in Violet’s hands. Are you ready? It’s time to unwrap the present!”
Violet nodded heavily. After that, Kevin removed the tie
A wide smile appeared on Violet’s face as she looked down at her gift, only to see the bomb in her hands. “Honey, what are you doing? Stop joking around! This isn’t funny at all!”
Kevin’s lips curled into a smirk. “Since when did I joke around with you? I just want you to feel what Michelle had felt back then.
“It must have been excruciating for her when she got blown up. She was even pregnant with my child. Michelle and I could’ve gotten married and lived happily ever after.”
Violet began trembling violently. “What does that have to do with me?”
Kevin gazed at her quietly. His demeanor became extremely intimidating at that moment–a boon that came with his many years of working experience in the police station.
“How did Daniel find out about Michelle’s address?”
Panic streaked across Violet’s eyes at that moment. ‘I don’t know! Seriously, I don’t know anything!”
Kevin picked up a controller. “You don’t know anything, huh? Then I’ll press the button right now. You can askiniel for the answer in hell.”
Violet was so terrified that she began screaming. “It was me! I was the one who told Daniel where Michelle was! Honey, if I hadn’t done that, I’d be the one getting blown up!”
Kevin smiled, clearly pleased.
At the same time, I could feel the bonds around me dissipating. It appeared that I could finally leave both Kevin and Violet.
Kevin pressed the button, thus detonating the bomb. The powerful impact ended up destroying everything in the apartment. Of course, both Kevin and Violet died on the spot.
After that, the news anchor reported the deaths of a third–class merit holder and his fiancée being found dead in the apartment. The bomb was the same one from the harrowing bombing incident from one year
ago.
