Mikayla sneered Fasted, “What are you doing” rather than “What are you looking at Lana is undoubtedly giving herself away. “This isn’t your concem. Go to the first floor and attend to the guests.”
Laina wanteil to say something, but Mikayla’s indifferent gaze stopped her. Reluctantly, Luna left the sixth floor. However. resentment lingered in her heart. This is so unfair! I’m the hosters of Noem li6, yet I’m not allowed to entertain the guests today, who all seem to be rich, powerful, handsome, and young. It’s such a nice group, yet Mi. Mikayla has a janitor handle them while I’m stuck with ordinary guests on the first floor! Enbelievable
Luma stormed off, upset.
Mikayla gently pushed the door open slightly. The scene inside shook her to the core. Even she, who was accustomed to witnessing terrible things happening, was greatly startled.
Inside the rooms, Lance shouted, “Hurry up! You’re so slow! Don’t you want the money anymore?
Mabel gritted her teeth, biting down hard on her lip, striving to ignore the pain coursing through her muscles and bones. She quickened her pace, and before she knew it, her clothes were soaked with sweat
Ever since she was released from prison, even under the scorching summer sun on the heatwave–ridden streets, she remained dry, with not a drop of sweat on her body. Yet, at that moment, her clothes were soaked through on her back.
“Quick Crawl over here,” Lance said with a smile. His scion friends laughed heartily. Under Xavier’s watchful eye, Mabel crawled without dignity toward Lance, who was only twenty years old. In the darkness, a violent whirlwind swept through Xavier’s eyes!
Mabel Xavier’s eyes blazed with fury. He was also experiencing an indescribable heaviness in his chest.
Xavier had never really pondered why when he looked at the woman in front of him, a despicable woman he loathed to his very core, he felt a surge of anger in his heart.
Not only that, he didn’t think about why he wasn’t happy even though he had achieved his goal of humiliating her.
“Lift your head.” demanded Lance arrogantly. Mabel remained unfazed, simply obediently and slowly lifting her head. She was like a soulless wooden doll, following every command from Lance.
“Holy crp! What the heck!” The companion behind Lance exclaimed in shock, staring at Mabel as if he had seen a monster Tance, this woman doesn’t need makeup. She’s already like a clown.”
“Mr. Scott is right, Lance Fine wine should be paired with beautiful women. What right does such an unattractive woman have to drink the wine you’ve graced us with?” The other scions began to raise a ruckus.
Mabel lowered her head, silently breathing a sigh of relief. As long as I don’t need to drink alcohol, I’m willing to do anything!
From the moment the girl who saved her died, she thought her life was no longer her own. In order to survive, she could not afford to take risks like drinking alcohol. Her damaged kidneys simply couldn’t withstand the havoc that strong liquor would
wreak
“No” Lance revealed a malicious smile. “If I say I’ll treat her to a drink, then that’s what I’ll do. I always keep my word.” With that, he stood before Mabel, looking down at her. “Tin offering you a drink. Aren’t you going to look up?”
Seeing Mabel remain motionless, Lance became somewhat displeased. He harked, “Didn’t I tell you to lift your head? Are your deaf?” He sneered, “Do I need to get someone to help you?”
Mabel braced herself and lifted her head, but in the next second, Lance tipped his glass, spilling all the liquor onto her face. She was caught off guard as the strong alcohol stung her nose and eyes. Consequently, she coughed violently, her face turning pale.
Lance slammed his wine glass onto the crystal table, sneering maliciously, “I must say, your appearance is truly revolting. The only way I can share my wine with you is like this.”
As he spoke, he shared a round of laughter with the people around him. Then, he waved his hand nonchalantly. “I’m a man of my word, and you’ve made me happy today,” he said, tossing fifty thousand at Malael. With a cold, dismissive snon, he spat, “Take the money and scram. Seeing your face for a moment longer is a pain to my eyes.”
Bills rained down on Mabel’s face, falling onto the ground. Mabel was still on the floor on her four. She extended a trembling

Just as Mabel was about to make a move, Lance chuckled again. “Did I give you permission to stand?”
Stashing all the cash into the large pockets of her clown costume, Mabel hung her head low.
“Hey! Don’t forget to wag your tail!” ordered Lance.
Mabel shuddered before shaking her batt.
Amidst the chorus of mocking cheers and whistles, she silently crawled out of the room.
Throughout the entire ordeal, she didn’t spare another glance at the man shrouded in darkness on the couch.
