The others taunted and jeered at Mabel as she silently pushed herself off the ground and stood up.
“What’s going on here? Why isn’t anyone working?” The door suddenly swung open. Mikayla hadn’t expected to see such a scene as soon as she opened the door. It was clear to her immediately that Mabel had been bullied. Mikayla scowled as she glared at everyone in fury. “What are you all doing huddled up here? Get back to work!”
The people in the room, who were quite arrogant mere moments ago, were shrinking their necks, scrambling to leave.

“You… Never mind. Do as you wish,” Mikayla said, shaking her head as she walked out of the Public Relations Department.
She had no plans to assign any tasks to Mabel that day.
However, something unexpected happened.
After exiting the restroom on the third floor. Mabel was abruptly pulled into a private room on the same level.
“Hey, Mr. Ziegler. This is the Mabel I was telling you about,” said Zendaya with a smile at a bald, potbellied middle–aged man on the couch inside the room.
Of course, Mabel recognized Zendaya, who was the female escort passionately kissing Henry at the stairwell before.
“Mabel, come over here. Mr. Ziegler has invited you for a drink,” said Zendaya
Mabel shook her head. “I’m allergic to alcohol.”
Zendaya immediately grimaced and demanded, “Mabel, how dare you refuse Mr. Ziegler! Are you looking down on him?”
Mabel stole a glance at Sam Ziegler, and as expected, the latter was frowning.
Mabel steeled herself and explained, “Mr. Ziegler, I really have an alcohol allergy. There was a time I nearly died from it. If I were to drink now, my body might betray me again. It would be terribly unfortunate if it caused you any unpleasantness at Club Royale.”
Though Sam was still wearing his frown, he didn’t insist on her drinking anymore. However, he wasn’t willing to let her off the hook just like that.
