Irvin still hadn’t delivered the thirty million.
Marta seemed a bit anxious. “Do you think he’s suspicious and is planning to run away?”
I didn’t think so.
He must be raising the money.
From what I knew about him, he probably had already squandered the joint assets.
“Tell him if he can’t come up with the money, you’ll invest on your own first,” I said softly.
Marta did as I asked.

During this time, I had Marta play a role.
She found an actor to have dinner with, making Irvin run into them.
Irvin initially questioned her, but eventually, he was forced into a corner.
He acted like a dog, trying to please Marta. “Darling, trust me, I’ll definitely get the money for you.”
Marta rolled her eyes. “I’ve already invested.”
She opened Twitter and showed the chat logs where she had transferred one million to someone’s bank account.
Of course, the person Marta had been chatting with was me, using a fake account.

This caused Irvin to be thoroughly cornered.
Not even a day later, he delivered the money to us.
I watched the money and handed over the agreed amount to Marta.
“Did he really give you thirty million? But where did he get it from?”
I unlocked my phone and dialed 911: “Now, everything should be over.”
“Irvin, we’re getting a divorce.” I looked at Irvin calmly.

He must have been thinking, why would I suddenly ask for a divorce when everything was going so smoothly?
Then, he smiled. “Sure. I’ve already
transferred all our assets, and if you divorce me, you won’t get a penny!”
“And you’re pregnant, getting a divorce isn’t that simple.”
“Oh? Is that so?”·
I smiled and placed his medical examination report on the table.
Irvin frowned in confusion, picked it up, and carefully looked at it.

He threw the report on the table and angrily shouted, “Bullshit! How could I have low sperm count!”
I remained indifferent, “Irvin, to be honest, I’m not pregnant. I accidentally found out about your plan, and I created this scenario to buy time.”
Irvin paused, then his face quickly darkened, and he let out a sinister laugh: “Heh! So you found out?”
I met his cold, sinister gaze and nodded.
I knew he wouldn’t dare kill me; if he did, he’d lose the insurance money.

But the problem was, he had to leave.
“Bang, bang!” There was a knock on the door.
Quinn entered with the police, hands on her hips, pointing at Irvin. “Officer, it’s him!”
The police officer looked at Irvin, showing his badge. “Hello, we suspect you are involved in a case of rape. Please come with us.”
Irvin stood frozen for a moment, taking a few steps back in shock.
I crossed my arms. “Coincidentally, I also want to report that my husband embezzled public funds.”

I stepped forward and handed over the evidence Quinn had gathered on Irvin’s embezzlement.
Irvin’s eyebrows furrowed as he leaned on the table, pointing at us. “Are you two in this together to deceive me?”
I didn’t speak, simply watching him silently.
“Irvin, you deceived my feelings, stole my money, and sent me to someone else’s bed! If it weren’t for helping my sister gather evidence of your embezzlement, I would have broken up with you long ago!”
Irvin stared at me, looking as though he wanted to devour me. His teeth clenched as his gaze turned vicious, like a wolf ready to pounce.
“Bertha, how could you be so vicious?”

When he was taken away, I let out a deep breath.
The past month had been mentally exhausting.
Finally, I could relax.
I stepped back, and Quinn came forward to support me.
“Sis, bad things come back around! From now on, Irvin is finished!”
Yes, it was finally over.
