Chapter 11
Cameron felt like he’d been struck by lightning, frozen by the cold indifference in Yanina’s eyes. The thought of her with another man so soon was unbelievable, yet there it was, right in front of him. He didn’t even have the right to question her.
Yanina, do you really think you can just push my limits?” Cameron’s voice was a low growl as he pulled off her coat, letting it fall to the floor. He grabbed her wrists, pinning them above her head against the wall.
Yanina winced at the pain in her wrists under Cameron’s tight grip. Their eyes locked, his burning with intensity. “Is he actually jealous?”
She tried to break free, attempting a kick, but he was ready for her. His leg blocked hers, and he pressed his body against her, securing her to the wall. Against his strength, Yanina was immobilized.
Cameron’s kiss came down like a storm, starting at her lips and trailing fire downwards. Yanina felt his hot body pressed against her, unyielding. Tears streamed down her face, falling onto Cameron’s cheek.
“Hey Cam, there’s someone outside…” Gavin’s voice cut through the moment as he walked in, clearly wanting to hurry them along. His eyes bulged at the sight before him, and he quickly covered them with his hand.

Cameron frowned, confused, as he gently released Yanina. He took off his jacket and wrapped it securely around her.
Yanina wasted no time. She wiped her tears, turned to Cameron, and shot him a frosty glare. “This is it, the last time your mess with me! If you dare try again, I’m gone, to a place you’ll never find me. You’ll never see me again, not in this lifetime!” She brushed away more tears and walked off without looking back.
Gavin shifted awkwardly, looking at Cameron. “Um, Cameron, are we leaving or what?”
Cameron took a few deep breaths to calm himself. He then turned to Gavin. “What exactly happened here?”
“It was that little girl from the Watson family who’s been sick. Her asthma kicked in, and she got locked in the ladies‘ room Yanina climbed through the window to get help, but her clothes got torn, so that guy gave her his jacket.”
Cameron felt the tension in his chest ease a bit at the explanation. If it was just a mix–up, why didn’t she tell me sooner?
“Zak” Cameron shouted.
“Boss, I’m right here!” Zak said, stepping in from outside the restroom, as if he’d been waiting there the whole time. “Get on it. I want a full report on that guy.”
“Sure,” Zak smirked slightly. If Cameron can’t get over his ex–wife, why divorce her? Now he’s sulking and jealous. Serves him right! Of course, he only dared to grumble this in his mind as he turned to gather information on Shawn
Yanina, wrapped in Cameron’s jacket, returned to the private room. The people inside were already a bit tipsy. Seeing. Yanina looking a mess, they hurried over to her.

Chapter 11
Even though Yanina’s voice was gentle, Tamara felt an overwhelming pressure. She couldn’t bring herself to meet Yanina’s eyes and looked away.
“Whert’s Yetta?” Yanina asked, unable to hold back her curiosity once she realized Yetta was missing-
Sean jumped in at once, saying, “She just went after Shawn”
Yanina let out a helpless sigh, at a loss for words because of her friend’s tendency to chase after good looks over loyalty. She didn’t feel like staying any longer today, so after some small talk, she headed out of the hotel.
As Yanina stepped out of the club, she was cut off by a familiar figure–it was Cameron, seemingly waiting for her for ages. “What? Not done with your antics yet? Yanina frowned, her eyes flickering with annoyance.
Cameron studied Yanina’s determined and serious look, realizing he had never really understood her. Right now, she was like a hedgehog–charming but untouchable.
“Grandpa wants us over for dinner,” Cameron mentioned.

When Cameron brought up Carl, Yanina knew she couldn’t say no. She’d been swamped with work these past few months and hadn’t visited. No wonder the old man missed her. I’ll change, Yanina sighed.
Cameron couldn’t resist a slight smile as he guided Yanina to the street, where they got into a car. Before long, they were back home.
When Yanina left, she only packed a few everyday clothes, leaving most of her wardrobe in their villa. The place seemed untouched; orchids on the table were half–bloomed, and everything was spotlessly clean.
“Why don’t you pick something out from the wardrobe?” he suggested.
Yanina nodded and went upstairs to the master bedroom. The scent, the feel–everything was just as she remembered. She had once wondered if Cameron would bring Callie here, but now it looked like there was no sign of any other woman.
Yanina took a shower, noticing her preferred body wash and shampoo were still there. It seemed unchanged, yet everything felt different. Yanina mused silently, “Did he bring me back to show he isn’t as heartless as he seemed?‘
“Don’t overthink it, Yanina whispered to herself. No one knew better than her how much Cameron cared for Callie. On their anniversary, Cameron forgot all about it to pick up Callie from the airport. Not bringing her to this villa probably meant he had bought a new place to keep his darling hidden away.
After Yanina changed her clothes, Cameron drove them to the old Zamora residence. When they stepped inside, Carl was chatting with a middle–aged wornan Yanina immediately recognized–Cameron’s aunt, Quinci.
Quinci was truly capable. Back when she was with the Zamoras, she was already assisting Carl in business matters. After marrying and moving to Wavecrest, she became her husband’s family’s backbone, overseeing their entire business
operation
Because she was so talented, managing many family matters, she rarely had time to visit Carl in Yvale. Even Cameron only saw her a few times a year.
“When Yanina came back, Carl gave her a warm smile, his eyes soft with affection. “Yani, you’re back! Come, sit down. How long has it been since you last visited me?”
