- 12.
When we got around the room, someone
asked, “Can anyone smell something
burning?”
Since we had a fire, everyone got nervous.
The security guys ran upstairs.
The smoke was rolling.
They had just burned one room, and it hadn’t
damaged anything else.
The extinguishers started spraying, and
everyone ran to the hallway.
“Luckily, we didn’t hurt anyone… Hey, are
there two people in there?”
Some sharp eyes spotted two people on top
of each other, who were charbroiled.
“It’s the Miller’s youngest daughter and her
boyfriend!”
The flames had left them all messed up, and
it left Mom and Dad dazed.
Ethan and I grabbed them.
L
“Let’s get an ambulance, and see if they can
be saved.”
The ambulance only took Ethan and me.
Mom and Dad were too ashamed by what
Brittany had done, and we had given them the
evidence.
Mom and Dad got angry, signed the forms,
and claimed that Brittany was no longer
family.
They weren’t going to clean up her messes,
and I could do what I wanted.
I had to admit, Brittany and Cole were lucky
bastards. They were still alive.
<
Brittany got messed up.
“Would be” Brittany had rotted limbs, and
they had to get cut off.
I was going to keep her alive.
Living was the worst thing that could happen
to her.
When Brittany woke up, her limbs were gone.
She was deformed.
I walked to the bed and stroked her head.
“I feel so bad for you, but don’t worry, I won’t
let you die.”
Brittany went nuts and tried to scream.
When she opened her mouth, she realized
that her tongue had been cut, so she couldn’t
talk.
Brittany got scared and shook her head,
asking for help.
Finally, footsteps came.
Brittany got excited, but not for long.
She could hear someone.
“The wedding is all planned out, and we just
need to take them.”
Ethan stood next to me and looked down at
her.
<
I started smiling.
“Happy wedding.”
The Jones hated the Millers, and their son
was now crippled.
Cole was going to be mad, and would treat
her horribly.
That was their problem.
The wedding song was playing.
The guests had awkward looks on their faces,
and were wishing them well.
Ethan and I thanked them.
We were the only members of the family who
had shown up.
We were the only ones.
We were going to drag her to hell.
