Chapter 152 I Don’t Feel Good
Zoey forced a smile and greeted, “Everyone, don’t mind it, please continue.”
Then, she deliberately linked her arm with Elijah’s in front of Eleanor.
“Elijah, it’s almost time to cut the cake. Let’s go prepare.”
Mm.

As the deep voice sounded, Eleanor was looking down at her shoes. A domineering, gloomy gaze settled on her for a long moment before finally fading away.
Just as she was about to breathe a sigh of relief, a man approached, holding a glass of wine.
“Miss Brown, may I have the honor of your company…”
“Sorry, I’m busy.” Eleanor refused.
The gentleman left politely, but soon another man approached.
“Miss Brown. I wonder when you’ll be free…”
“I’m sorry, I’m not free at this moment.”
“Miss Brow
“No.”
When Eleanor was rejecting the seventh man, Julian suddenly called.
“Eleanor, why did you say the clothes were A–grade knockoff?”
Your outfit matches Ms. Whitney’s, what if she t
a fake. I’m trying to help you. If you’re not willing to do it, we can go and explain everything to Ms.
you’re trying to provoke her? That’s why I said it was Whitney right now.”
Eleanor knew that Julian wouldn’t dare do that.
Sure enough, Julian was silent for a few seconds before changing the subject. “Eleanor, my stomach hurts a bit. Could you go to the front desk and grab some medicine, then bring it to the restroom in lounge 62”
“Alright, I’ll go get it.”
“Alright, hurry up. I really don’t feel good, Julian urged.
“Got it.
After hanging up the phone, Eleanor turned and walked out of the banquet hall.
On the other side.
While Zoey was chatting with her friends, Siena took the opportunity to gracefully walk over to Elijah.

She raised her glass and suggested, “Everyone’s gone, and you’re still not going after her? Aren’t you worried something might happen?”
Elijah took a sip of wine. “She’s not that stupid.”
Siena chuckled lightly. “Then why did you nearly crush your glass when you saw her being approached?”
Elijah quickly responded, “I didn’t.”
Siena, accustomed to Elijah’s stubbornness, smoothly changed the topic. I’ve already passed the message
about you organizing Zoey’s birthday party. It should calm the rumors down. Once the person arrives, the
contract can be signed without any issues.”
“Mm.” Elijah placed his glass down, gave Siena a look, and then disappeared from the banquet hall.
Noticing his departure, Zoey immediately approached but Siena stopped her..
“Ms. Brewer, where is Elijah?”
“In the restroom. Do you want to go there too?” Siena smiled faintly. “Miss Taylor, it’s not worth it to monitor a man like this,”
“Mr. Brewer, you’re joking. You don’t have a man, so you wouldn’t understand the fun I have with Elijah,” Zoey retorted, never missing a chance to insult.
Siena chuckled softly. “We’ll see about that.”
With that, she walked past Zoey and left.
Eleanor walked
the door of lounge 6. She stared at the numbers and changed the two sets of numbers opposite the door when no one was looking.
Just as she was about to leave, a hand wrapped around her waist and pulled her into the next room.
By the time she reacted, she was already pressed against the back of the door.
When Eleanor saw the man in front of her, anger surged within her, and she struggled with all her might.
“Elijah, are you crazy? This is your fiance’s birthday party!”
“Mm.” Elijah lowered his gaze, staring at her, his eyes filled with an inexplicable emotion. “So what? Those men can approach you, but I can’t? Wasn’t it you who started this between us?”
As he spoke, Eleanor smelled the scent of alcohol. Looking at her wrist, reddened by his grip, she could no longer struggle.
She said patiently. “Elijah, you’re drunk. And I’ve already rejected them.”
Hearing this, Elijah’s grip loosened. He gently rubbed her arm, and the warmth of his palm against her
skin made her shiver.
He lowered his head, his warm breath brushing against Eleanor’s face, leaving her feeling uneasy and
flushed.

Through the thin silk. Eleanor felt his hand suddenly caress her waist, making her helplessly let out an ashamed sound.
“Your mouth can only say things that anger me now. How about using it for something else?” Elijah chuckled softly, his voice hoarse.
Eleanor widened her eyes.
Just then. Elijah leaned over and kissed her.
The air–conditioned room in late autumn should have been filled with coldness, but Eleanor felt the air she breathed out was warm and sticky.
She pushed against him with all her strength, but he didn’t even flinch.
He even used his other hand to make things worse.
She struggled so much that she broke into a sweat.
Elijah held her in place, his voice full of interest as he said, “You’re wet.”
Eleanor bit her lip in shame and anger.
“I mean your clothes. Take them off.”
