Chapter 40
Before Yanina could even react, a drone suddenly appeared outside her window
Frowning slightly, she thought. As if blocking my door isn’t enough, now they re using this kind of tactic to spy on me. This is unacceptable!
With a dark expression on her face, Yanina slid open the window. She locked her piercing gaze onto the drone, her eyes determined and fierce. Slowly, she reached for a bow hanging on the wall, lifted her chin, and gave the drone a scornful smile. Then, she nocked an arrow and drew back the bowstring, ready to take aim
The arrow’s blue fletching glimmered in the sunlight. looking like a little rocket shimmering with a cold light.
With a whoosh, the arrow flew through the air and hit the drone, sending it spinning in a perfect are before it plummeted. into the lake across the street.
Meanwhile, in the café, Sherry stared at the suddenly black screen in confusion. “What just happened?” she asked.
Steven pointed at Yanina’s livestream
“She can shoot!! Sherry gasped, her eyes filled with resentment
Since Yanina had entered the Zamora family at fifteen, even though there had always been a bow in her room, she had seen Yanina touch it. She thought it was just for show, not realizing Yanina had been hiding that talent all along
never
“Thank goodness Cameron divorced her. She is so cunning! Who knows what she might do if she ever gets angry? She could shoot and kill Cameron!” Sherry muttered.
In the same instant, the livestream’s comments flooded the screen
Good shot, CrimsonSnow!
[I can’t believe what I just saw! She looks like a superhero! She can both shoot and paint!]
[Good lord! Simply unbelievable!]
[These journalists are out of control; using drones to invade someone’s privacy.]
Yanina turned around and glanced at the screen. Her expression was calm despite her cheeks still flushing from earlier anger. She looked like a fierce beauty straight out of a painting.
Suddenly, loud banging echoed from the door again.
Yanina said to the viewers, “Everyone, I sincerely apologize for the issues today. Due to personal matters, the livestream didn’t meet our expectations, and I’m truly sorry. However, I’d like to ask everyone to bear witness to the incident today suspect that the people knocking at my door aren’t reporters at all but are intentionally trying to provoke–me. Let’s head to the door together, and we’ll see who they really are.”
As Yanina spoke, she signaled to Yetta to redirect the camera toward the door. She palled out a decibel meter and placed it near the entrance. “Everyone, look. The knocking and shouting have reached a deafening 92 decibels. This counts as noise disturbance, and they’ve been at it for about five minutes now.”
The chat exploded with comments from outraged viewers.
[Noise complaints start at over 50 decibels. What’s going on in this apartment complex? Is it a construction site?] [South Haven Apartments.]

Chapter 40
[Wait, aren’t those luxury apartments that cost a fortune? How is the management letting this slide
[If that’s the case, you can sue the property management and those people outside. Such noise can seriously harm your health.]
[CrimsonSnow, maybe you should think about moving.]
[Didn’t expect South Haven to be this bad.]
I live at SouthHaven, and I saw suspicious guys hanging around downstairs this morning. For safety’s sake, move out ASAP.]
In a nearby cafe, Steven watched Yanina’s stream, feeling uneasy. He anticipated that she might call the police or contact the property management, but he never expected her to turn public opinion against them.
Once she opened the door, those so–called journalists would be exposed live on her stream, and with how fast things spread online, their identities could be leaked in no time. That would end up reflecting back on Steven,
“What do we do, Mrs. Zamora? If Yanina finds out those reporters are fake… Steven frowned, his anxiety palpable.
“Calm down, Sherry said, her eyes glued to the livestream. “Let them keep banging. If anything happens, I’ll have your back.
With reluctance, Steven called the reporters again.
Yanina stood in front of her door, the sound of knocking growing louder. She glanced at her phone screen and smiled slyly before pulling the door open with a surprising amount of force. Instantly, a flurry of camera flashes erupted outside, and the reporters started to ask questions.
“CrimsonSnow, what’s your relationship with the man in the photos? Are you really his mistress?”
“I heard you’re an orphan with no parents. Who took care of you all these years and provided you with such a good education?”
“CrimsonSnow, with all the doubts from netizens, why haven’t you answered them directly? Is it because you’re feeling guilty?”
Yanina shot a glare at the reporters, her voice icy. “You think this ridiculous stunt is going to make me answer your questions? Fine. I’ll answer, but first, you need to answer my questions. Show me your press badges. If you don’t have them, then you’re just trespassers stalking me and invading my privacy, I’ll take legal action against you to protect my rights,”
The reporters exchanged nervous glances though they still tried to act tough.
“CrimsonSnow, are you or aren’t you the mistress?”
“If you are, just admit it already! Don’t waste our time,”
Tve got another influencer to interview, you know,”
Yanina maintained her steely expression. “Show me your press badges!”
Yetta adjusted her camera to capture the so–called reporters in one frame, then shouted, “Show your badges!”
I don’t have it with me
“I left in a hurry.”
The group of self–proclaimed reporters mumbled, “So what if we don’t have press badges?”
“It’s one thing for one of you to forget, but all of you? That’s suspicious, don’t you think?” Yetta sneered.

The comments flooded the screen almost instantly.
[No press badge and still blocking someone’s door? Total stalker move!]
[I’m a senior entertainment reporter from Yvale, and I’ve never seen these people before. Are they really reporters?]
[Quick! Let’s find out who they really are!
One reporter snapped. “Stop with the nonsensel CrimsonSnow answer the questions now, or you’re not leaving this door! And forget about your filming in Utravia!”
