I clenched and loosened my hands under the table, feeling deeply helpless.
I had a big belly and a sallow and haggard face.
But neither of my parents had asked if I was doing well. They just kept rebuking me.
Bailey flirted with my boyfriend right before their eyes, but they thought. it was my fault as I failed to keep a man’s heart. In their eyes, I was just a failure.
I sighed helplessly in my heart, “Never mind. They didn’t want to have me in this family reunion in the first place anyway. So what’s the point of staying?”
After taking a deep breath, I stood up and slowly walked out.
I ignored the shouting from my parents behind me. I knew they were just pretending to want to keep me. They wouldn’t come out to talk me into staying anyway.
When I walked past the women’s restroom, I heard a moan from inside.
“Toni, hold me.”
“No, Bailey, we can’t. People will come.”
I slightly pushed open the door. Through the crack, I saw two people tightly holding each other.
Antonio looked torn but obsessed. He kept Bailey between his arms,

his words said a different thing.
“Bailey, you’re already married. What if someone finds out? I can’t harm you.”
But Bailey said with a crazy expression on her face, “No! Don’t go! He can’t satisfy me at all. Please, Toni, stay.”
Hearing this, Antonio finally stopped resisting and leaned in, kissing Bailey affectionately and aggressively. The sound of kissing and moaning kept echoing in the small restroom.
I watched as the two of them kissed and took off each other’s clothes.
Suddenly, Bailey asked, “Toni, is it better to have sex with me? Or her?”
Antonio’s hands and lips kept wandering on Bailey’s body, and he replied without any hesitation, “It’s you, of course. As for her, even if she stands. in front of me naked, I’ll only feel disgusted.”
Antonio’s answer made Bailey laugh with satisfaction, and she began to give him responses.
Meanwhile, I leaned against the door and covered my mouth tightly, trying hard to hold back my tears.
I forgot how I went away from that place. When I came back to my senses, I was already sitting on the cold steps of the restaurant’s safe passage.
Suddenly, I got a text alert. It was a photo from Bailey.
I clicked it and saw it was a photo of me crying outside the restroom.
Then, Bailey sent me a voice message, in which she sounded very arrogantly.
“Grace, how do you feel when seeing your man having sex with another

“Toni told me that he had only had sex with you five times in these five years. Do you know why?
“Because your belly is too disgusting and has too many wrinkles.
“Unlike me. Even if I’m now a mother of four children, I still look pretty and slim. As long as I want, I can let him stand up at any time.”
Even though I already knew the truth, Bailey’s words still made me tremble all over with fury.
She took away my four children, deceiving me and using me as her reproduction tool. She was the one who made me get old before my time.
How dare she still proudly show off her pretty figure and youthful face in front of me?

dare she still add insult to my injury?
I was the victim of her malicious scheme! Why did she feel no shame at
all?
Why was fate so against me?
The fury and desperation almost broke me down. For a moment, I wanted. to dash to those two bastards‘ front and question them!
But as soon as I stood up, a sharp pain attacked me in my lower abdomen.
I gritted my teeth and looked down. As expected, I saw my pants were stained red, with blood dripping to the ground.
It was still early before my due date. I guessed it was due to my violent emotional fluctuation that caused the miscarriage. If I couldn’t have the surgery in time, I was afraid I and the baby might both die.

I gasped heavily and struggled to hold onto the wall as I walked out of the stairwell. Finally, a waiter noticed me.
“Ma’am, where’s your family?”
I pointed to the private room at the end of the hallway, but the waiter told me that the customers in that room had already left.
After the ambulance arrived, the medical staff told me I needed to contact my family members. So, with the last bit of strength in me, I dialed Antonio’s number.”
After the call got through. Bailey’s voice sounded first.
“Toni is having a shower now. While waiting, would you like to hear the sound of us having sex again?”
I directly hung up. When I was carried into the ambulance, I dropped my phone on the ground.
Antonio wasn’t the baby’s father anyway, so I didn’t need his consent to have an abortion.-
The surgery lasted for six hours. The already–formed baby boy was removed, and so was my uterus.
The doctor told me, “You’ve had four babies before. Your uterine wall is already very thin, and this miscarriage caused perforation. We had not other choice. Sorry.”
