Chapter 9
Before the police arrived, Troy showed up, stepping protectively in front.
of me.
Antonio demanded coldly, “Kid, it’s time for you to leave. Grace isn’t your mother.”
‘She is like a mother to me,” Troy replied calmly and firmly.
Antonio was furious, but someone was even angrier than him.
From around the corner, Fraser charged out.
He shoved Troy hard, roaring, “Grace is my mother! Who the hell do you. think you are? I’ll kill you!”
Fraser had long abandoned his manners. Lately, his temper had worsened.
But Troy wasn’t one to be bullied. He fought back immediately, and the two started wrestling.
Fraser had come prepared. He pulled a rock from his pocket and swung it at Troy’s head.
My heart dropped. I grabbed a shovel and smacked Fraser right in the face
Fraser’s nose broke on the spot, blood spilling onto the ground.
Sitting in the dirt and bleeding, he stared blankly at me.
Antonio, both shocked and alarmed, rushed to support Fraser, anxiously checking if he was okay.
”
I helped Troy up, brushing the dust off him.
“Mom… you hit me…” Fraser’s voice faltered, blood flowing into his mouth and staining his teeth red.
“You hit me for an outsider…” Fraser’s eyes turned red, tears welling up in an instant.
I snapped. “Are you out of your mind? Were you trying to kill him with that rock?”
Fraser’s lips quivered violently. My harsh reprimand seemed to have crushed whatever strength he had left.
He crumbled, wailing, “Mom, you’re my mother… You’re my mother! You can’t love anyone else! Come back to me!”
Antonio, still composed, shot a fierce glare at Troy before hurriedly taking Fraser to the hospital.
I turned to ask Troy whether he was hurt.
He shook his head, hesitated for a moment, then said, “Grace, my biological father has found me.”
Troy was found by his biological father!
After Troy became famous, I joined a charity organization to help him find his family.
Now, finally found it!
Just this morning, his biological father had already met with him and confirmed the blood relationship.
Troy came to the villa to specifically tell me.
Chapter 1
“My father’s name is Jeremy Horton, he was from California, and he was going to take me home.” Troy blinked his eyes, his tone filled with reluctance.
I stared for a moment, Jeremy Horton?
California…
“Was your dad the wealthy businessman Jeremy from California?”
As the hostess of the Kaufman Group, I had heard about Jeremy before.
He was a business tycoon, much stronger than Antonio.
“I didn’t know, but he seemed to be very wealthy,” Troy said, not caring about it. He stared at me intently and said, “Grace, come with me, I’ll take care of you!”
Puff.
Children grow up quickly.
“Do I look like I’m short of money? I don’t need you to support me,” I patted his head, “Go back, practice the piano well, and one day, you will reach the peak!”
Troy stopped speaking, looked at me deeply, and left.
I stretched and continued planting my roses.
Planted the roses, and just waited for them to bloom and bear fruit.
But it was a long process, and I wasn’t foolishly waiting.
I had plenty of things to do now.
Playing the piano is just one of them. I want to shine like Roses,
naturally, I have to do brilliant things.
I did whatever I wanted to do, such as exercising, traveling, dancing, and painting. I no longer needed to confine myself.
A year later. I completed a global journey and set foot in my homeland.
The roses bloomed.
I was overjoyed, touching and taking photos, even crying with happiness.
Someone rang the doorbell.
I thought Antonio was still lingering, so I immediately frowned.
At first glance, it was Emilia.
She did not wear the butler’s uniform anymore, but instead, she was in the attire of a free person.
I was a bit surprised: “Emilia, were you fired?”
“I resigned on my own, it has been almost half a year since I left.” Emilia’s emotions were complicated, she wanted to speak but hesitated.
I let her speak if she had something to say.
She sighed and said, “The young master’s temperament changed drastically. He would often hit and scold us, even beating us to near death. We were all scared and ran away.”
I didn’t speak.
Emilia continued to explain, “The young master looked for you many times. He even stopped going to school and would mention you every day, but he could never find you.”
“The company also collapsed, it is said to have offended a big boss in California and was targeted.”
California big boss?
“Jeremy Horton?” I casually asked
“Yes, yes, that’s what it’s called,” Emilia said sympathetically. “The young master had been to California and I heard he put the boss’s son in the hospital, which caused a feud between the two families.”
Was Troy taken to the hospital?
