Jasper claimed he had a video conference starting soon, which made the other person leave.
The doctor felt slightly guilty and intended to come apologize to

“I’ll come back to deal with you another time.”
He was likewise driven away by Jasper.
Finally, only Jasper and I remained.
“Why didn’t you tell me if you weren’t feeling well?”

My heart instantly jumped to my throat.
“I haven’t for a long time… That night I lost control a bit.”

The way rich people think of compensation is probably just buying handbags and jewelry.
After the IV was finished, the boss appeared.
The boss said he wanted to treat me to dinner to thank me for taking care of Mr. Knight at the hospital last night.
I didn’t want to go.
But the boss was quite persistent and insisted I join.
The boss mentioned wanting to eat something lighter, so we
chose a Cantonese restaurant.
When we got out of the car, it was a bit cold outside. The boss. was on a call and told Jasper and me to go in first.
Jasper looked me over several times before finally handing me
his coal.

He gave me his coat and then politely stepped aside.
I was really shivering from the cold.
After hesitating for a moment, I reluctantly draped it over my shoulders.
However, when we reached the restaurant entrance and I saw the sign, I stumbled.
“Boss, can we go somewhere else?”
“This restaurant isn’t big, but the taste is authentic. You kids. don’t understand. Hurry up and go in.”
With no choice, I mustered my courage and walked in with
Jasper.
Yet, as fate would have it, what you fear most is exactly what
appears.
As soon as we entered, I ran into my mother.
“How many in your party?”
“Sara?”
My mother was initially greeting us, but when she looked up and

and elegant. I’m Sara’s mother. We’ve spoken on the phone
several times!”
I was momentarily stunned by my mother’s shocking conclusion.
“Mom, this isn’t Ryan. This is Ryan’s father.”
