Chapter 61
Yanina didn’t answer. She just wanted to stay away from him.
Cameron sighed, not expecting Yanina to be so stubborn.
His goal was to ease the tension between them, not make it worse.
“Go back to sleep, the bed is more comfortable. I’ll stay here,” Cameron finally said, his tone softening.
Yet Yanina still didn’t look at him.
“What exactly do you want?” Cameron asked, frowning.
Yanina pulled a blanket over herself and turned off the light, giving off a clear signal of wanting to sleep and not be disturbed.
Cameron sighed and picked Yanina up. She struggled, but his grip was strong, making it hard for her to break free,
In the end, Yanina was carried back to first class and laid on the bed.
Just as Yanina was thinking about how to deal with Cameron next, he gathered his belongings with a gloomy expression and moved to the business class seat she had just booked
Cameron settled into the chair, which was still warm from her presence. Inhaling her lingering scent, he closed his eyes and soon fell asleep,
Yanina locked the door first, then got into bed.
But the day’s events flashed in her mind, keeping her awake.
Yanina picked up the skincare products Mika had given her. The packaging was a deep green, with no patterns or labels,
She frowned a little, picked up the pencil from the notepad, and started sketching an orchid on the packaging.
The next morning, the plane landed.
It was raining outside, and the weather was slightly chilly.
Yanina carried her backpack and held the skincare set close to her chest.
She held it not fogits worth, but because Mika’s friendship made it hard for her to let go–it felt like a treasured gift from a respected elder.
As she was wavering over whether to squeeze onto the shuttle bus, a black umbrella suddenly opened above her head. Cameron stood behind her, and his face darkened.
He said, “I was just worried about letting Professor Mika’s gift go to waste in the rain. Let’s go.”
Yanina seemed to have run out of reasons to refuse again, so she stepped down from the plane one step at a time. But instead of leading her to the shuttle, Cameron went over to nearby black Bentley Motors.
An assistant look the umbrella from Cameron, and both Yanina and Cameron settled into the back seat of the car. “What’s the design? Cameron spotted the orchid on the packaging and felt moved.

Just something I sketched” Yanina responded calmly.
“Could I have it as a gift?” Cameron asked.
“What?” Yanina looked briefly puzzled, then nodded and placed the whole set of skincare products in Cameron’s hands.
She said. “It was Professor Mika’s masterpiece made for your wife. Give it to someone you truly like.
Cameron smiled.
Then he opened the packaging and handed the skincare products back to Yanina.
He said, “You’re the one I like.”
Yanina was surprised and thought, Did he just say he liked me? Imust’ve misheard
Before she could fully understand, she saw the driver lower the noise–cancelling glass, separating the front seat from the back into two independent spaces
Yanina thought. I must’ve misheard. But wait, that can’t be true! We were married for a year. Why hadn’t Cameron said this before? This man must be playing with me!
Seeing Yanina’s expression change, Cameron couldn’t help but laugh.
He said, “Just take it. I’ll bring you more when you run out”
Yanina was even more confused, but she didn’t want to ask more.
She was afraid that the answer wasn’t what she wanted.
“Take me to Yetta’s place. Thanks to you, I can’t stay in South Haven Apartments anymore. Yanina said with a frown.
“That’s not convenient. Go to Violet Mansion. I have a house there, and…” Cameron began to say but was interrupted by
Yanina.
She said, I’m not staying in your place anymore.”
Yanina still felt anxious remembering the reporters blocking her door.
She thought, ‘Wasn’t one bad incident enough?
“That won’t happen again,” Cameron said seriously.
“Why should I believe you? Yanina replied sharply.
He thought, ‘Don’t trust
t me? s
She doesn’t trust me.’
Cameron’s voice rose, filled with undeniable authority.
He said. “Because I’m Cameron! I’ll arrange a bodyguard for you so that no more kidnappings door–blockings happen again, I promise! Yani, trust me once more, okay? That house has a garden where you can grow towers and vegetables, whatever you like. If you don’t want my things for free, trade them for your house in Southaven Apartments. I’ll have Zak take care of the process tomorrow.”
Yanina thought. Trust him–one more time?
She held the skincare bottle in her hand, gently caressing it. Her slender fingers on the translucent green bottle were soothing to look at.

Cameron could almost feel her fingers on his skin, and the thought made his Adam’s apple tremble slightly.
“Does that work?” Cameron asked again.
D
Yanina looked up. “Alright, Zak will handle the process tomorrow. Also, let me know how much you’re paying the bodyguards, and I’ll settle it with you monthly.”
She really needed protection right now.
Especially after learning about Callie’s intentions, she needed to be even more cautious.

But if she tried to find someone herself, they might not be trustworthy, and they certainly wouldn’t be as experienced as the people Cameron could arrange.
“Alright, the bodyguards‘ salary is 6,000 dollars a month. Just coordinate everything with Zak,” Cameron said with a smile.
“Okay, Yanina responded.
After Yanina was done speaking, she put the skincare products into her backpack.
Set Cameron’s heart seemed to skip a beat.
He felt like he was that bottle, was put in Yanina’s bag
“Tomorrow, I’ll have Zak arrange for someone to help you move. We’ll include the cost in the bodyguard fees,” Cameron suggested.
Yanina raised an eyebrow. It was a good idea. She was already tired of moving so soon after settling in…
She said. “Thanks”
Cameron didn’t reply, but a glint of amusement shone in his eyes.
At the Violet Mansion, Cameron handed the prepared keys to Yanina.
He said, I’ve already had the toiletries set up inside the room, all in the brands you’re used to.”
Janina nodded.
She said. “I’m going in, see you later.”
The door was closed.
Cazon kept his eyes on the disappearing figure, then turned with a smile. He took out a key, unlocked the door of the adjacent house, and walked in….
