“How much longer until you’re discharged?” Yanina asked.
“About a month, I guess. Should we take a picture to remember this?”
Yanina looked at Shawn, a bit surprised and confused.
But Shawn had already turned. He pulled Yanina closer, focused the phone’s camera on them and the risotto on the table, and snapped a photo.

“How’s that for a promotional boost?” Shawn grinned at Yanina.

Shawn seemed to have missed the sarcasm in her voice, shamelessly responding, “You’re welcome. Is there more risotto for tomorrow?”

She continued, “Because of this woman, the Zamora family came to hold us accountable, causing chaos at our home and allowing Sara to exploit it! You nearly lost your life over it! You were lucky to be survive, yet you didn’t keep a low profile and instead posted that photo. You’re going to be the death of me!”
Yanina realized that this woman must be Marlene Nielsen, Shawn’s mother.
