Chapter 88
“Ah!” Lili let out a sharp screath as she struggled to get u up, drenched head to toe in red wine.
Her vintage green dress was stained with the crimson liquid, dripping pitifully onto the floor.
The surrounding onlookers were completely sumed.
Realizing his subtle protection, everyone began speculating about the relationship between CrimsonSnow and Cameron.
Cameron, however, remained utterly composed. “Don’t let me see you again, or you’ll face the consequences.”
Lili flinched as Steven stepped in from behind, wrapping his come around her shoulders.
“Lili, are you alright?” Steven asked coldly, though his gaze was axed on Cameron.
Lili’s vision blurred from the wine splashed over her.
Never in her life had someone humiliated her so publicly.
After this, there was no way she could stay in Yvale with her dignity intact.
The thought of it made her break down in sobs, leaning against Steven.
“Mr. Zamora, isn’t this behavior a bit ungentlemanly? Steven questioned with a frosty tone.
Cameron calmly shrugged off his jacket, placing it over Yanina. Who said I’m a gentleman? I’m someone who always pays. back what’s due. No grudges overnight. How much for the dress? I’ll compensate you later.”
With that, Cameron and Yanina left, leaving behind a crowd of murmuring onlookers.
From a distance, Sophie witnessed the entire scene, her fists clenched tighter.
She hadn’t expected Cameron to defend CrimsonSnow like that, and an unfamiliar feeling began to stir inside her.
She wished, more than anything, that the one Cameron had protected just now was her.
Cameron and Yanina arrived at the sink, where he began helping her clean off the wine. “There are a few dresses in the car. I’ll have a waiter bring one up to your room so you can change
Yanina, still wrapped in Cameron’s jacket, could feel his scent and warmth. It erased any chill from her back.
This was the first time she felt this level of care from him.
“The auction’s starting soon. You should go. I’ll come once I’ve changed,” she said.
“I’ll wait for you,” Cameron replied.
Just then, Zoe approached from the distance.
“Cameron, you should head to the auction. I’ll stay with Yani and make sure she’s alright,” Zoe offered..
Zoe had already made her way to her seat in the auction hall but rushed back after hearing what happened to Yanina.
Cameron didn’t argue further. “Thanks, Mrs. Watson.”

Chapter 88
“No big deal,” Zoe said with a warm smile.
After Cameron left, Yanina and Zoe made their way to a guest s
to a guest suite on the 8th floor.
The suite was reserved exclusively for the Zamora family members.
Even Zoe couldn’t help but let out a sigh. “It’s said no one in Yvale can compare with the Zamora family, and it’s true. Even the Watson family has to make advance reservations to stay at Drakonia House, but the Zamora family? They have their own private suite right inside.
Yanina chuckled solily, not saying much.
Drakonia House was owned by the Zamora family. After all, suci privileges came naturally.
Cameron had prepared a silver fishtail dress for Yanina. It perfectly highlighted her figure, making her look stunning.
Once Yanina had changed, even Zoe couldn’t help but compliment her. “You’ve got such an amazing figure. Yani. You make everything look great! Oh, by the way, when did you and Cameron get married? Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Who said we’re married?” Yanina asked, puzzled.
Zoe heard Yanina’s words and furrowed her brow slightly. “But Cameron told Yosef himself. Are you saying you two didn’t get married? Or is there something more to this?”
Yanina paused for a moment before replying, “We got divorced
Zoe gasped, covering her mouth with her hand and taking a deep breath. “Divorced?”
She sighed softly. “That explains why Zoe has been hinting lately that she’s looking for a suitable match for Cameron. I was wondering, if you two were married, why would she be matchmaking for him?”
At that, Zoe looked at Yanina with a mix of pity and understanding
Thinking back to the rumors, it seemed to make sense now.
There must have been a mistress involved, breaking up their marriage.
After the divorce, Yanina had been unfairly labeled as the mistress by the media, bearing the weight of accusations with no outlet to release her frustrations.
Yanina smiled calmly. “It’s fine, Zoe. You don’t have to worry about me. I’m doing okay now.”
Zoe reached out and embraced Yanina. “If you ever see me as a true friend, don’t hesitate to share your grievances with me. No matter what happens, I’m on your side. Once Jess is feeling better, let’s take a trip to Xylothica’s tropical rainforest and Flear our minds,”
Feeling the warmth of Zoe’s hug. Yanina’s heart softened. It had been so long since she had felt this kind of familial affection. Her nose tingled, and she held Zoe a little tighter, her thoughts drifting to her own parents.
“Alright,” Yanina agreed without hesitation.
The two walked out of the suite arm in arm, only to run into a familiar face at the door.
“Well, well, if it isn’t Ms. Fulbright. What a coincidence.” Mabel’s voice was dripping with disdain and scorn.
In Mabel’s eyes, Yanina was no longer worth acknowledging after leaving the Zamora family, just a poor girl who could be: easily looked down upon
Yanina remained calm, giving a polite nod and gently tugging Zor’s hand as they prepared to leave.

Chapter 88
She had no desire to waste her energy
gy or time on someone like Mabel.
But Mabel interpreted Yanina’s attempt to walk away as fear, scoting with a sneer. “Who are you trying to impress with that attitude? Do you still think you’re Mrs. Zamora! Hey! You’re just some orphan adopted from a shelter, strutting around like you’re important. Stay away from Tamara, you hear me? If you dare mess with her again. I’ll make sure you regret it.”
