Chapter 109
Daniel continued, “Cameron will never love your younger sister. If she goes on pestering him, our friendship will be affected.”
Chuck frowned and nodded. His
ister had secretly liked Cameron for years. But it seemed Cameron only loved Yanina. Even if she married him, she wouldn’t be happy.
Soon, Yanina walked downstairs. “Who called me?
“I did.” Gavin stood up.
“Alright. Let’s drink till we drop.” Yanina sat down, laughing.
The guys and girls singing the drinking song left with the girl in a fancy dress.
Cameron and Gavin sat on one side, with Chuck and Daniel nearby.
Yanina sat by herself, cheerfully poured a cup of wine, and lifted it.
She and Gavin clinked their cups and finished their drinks in one go.
Yanina poured more wine and drank again….
Before long, there were seven or eight empty bottles.
Although the alcohol was mild, it packed a punch. Even though Gavin bragged to her, he was drunk, toppling over.
Delighted, she unsteadily stood up, looking at Gavin who passed out.
“Anyone else wants more drinks? If not, I’m heading to bed. Don’t disturb me,” she said as she staggered toward her room.
Daniel and Chuck exchanged a glance. So, she came out to get Gavin drunk so that she could sleep well. They were dumbfounded.
“You’ve drunk too much. Let me help you. Cameron approached Yanina.
She shook him off with such force that she almost fell. “Don’t touch me. I’m not drunk. I’m perfectly sober.
“Since we left Yvale, you’ve been trying to stay with me. I’ve noticed it.
“Cameron, I’m warning you one last time. We’re divorced. I have no interest in getting back together.
“Once Grandpa’s birthday is over, get out of my face! And tell your mom, even though I’ll organize the party, I won’t get a single penny from your family.
“Go find whoever y
you want. I don’t care who they are. It’s got nothing to do with me.
“Don’t use Grandpa as an excuse to approach me. I won’t fall for it.”
Yanina, you’re drunk. Grandpa is still in the main room: Cameron tried to help her but she
stepped away
She sneered. “I know, I know everything. Cameron, from now on, we’re just strangers, no, maybe friends.
“No, no. I don’t know, but we’ll never return to how things were.
“You jerk, shameless jerk, bastard

He knew she was completely drunk and didn’t want her to say anything harsh, so he helped her back to her room.
Daniel
He turned around and gave Daniel and Chuck a cold stare..
The two of them wished they could be as drunk as Gavin.
“Like drinking? I’ll drink with you” Cameron sneered.
An hour later, Chuck and Daniel were both completely unconscious,
Cameron was sober, staring at the moon, crestfallen.
Yanina’s words showed her true feelings.
When they divorced, he was confident that she would come back to him soon, but she never did.
He missed her and believed, Yanina would be back to him as long as he wanted, but she never did.
Later, he assumed his sweet talk would make her return to him, but she never did.
Now, he just wanted her back, regardless of the cost he had to pay.
John draped a coat over Carl. “Mr. Carl Zamora, Mr. Cameron Zamora is upset. Should we go comfort him? “Comfort him? Serves him right!
Carl scoffed, turning back to his room
The next morning, when Gavin, Daniel, and Chuck woke up, they found themselves in bed.
“Where’s my phone?” asked Gavin.
“Whose shoe is under my back? It hurts,” cried Daniel.
“Where are my shoes?” Chuck murmured
“Move over, let me get out of bed first, Gavin said.
They pushed around for a while and suddenly realized Cameron wasn’t there.
“Where’s Cameron?” Cavin asked.
“I don’t know.” Daniel opened the window for the fresh air and noticed Cameron and Yanina were jogging.
To be precise, Yanipa was running in front, with Cameron following behind.
“Wow, it’s the first time I’ve seen Cameron love–struck.” Gavin shook his head and thought, ‘He isn’t detached anymore.
Daniel remembered Yanina’s words from the previous day and gently shook his head too. “It’s complicated
Chuck remained silent and was hesitant, pondering, “Yanina firmly turned down Cameron yesterday. Yet, Cameron doesn’t give up at all… Should my sister pursue him?‘
Before long, Yanina and Cameron returned. Everyone gathered around to have breakfast.
Carl was silent during meals, so they didn’t speak
After that, Cathy, feeling a bit lightheaded, glanced at Yanina. “Yet, what’s our plan for today?
Before Yanina could say anything, Cameron spoke up. “Tve got erything ready. Yanina and I will go up the mountain to gather herbs. You guys can visit the village!

“Gathering herbs? Do you have a death wish?” Gavin exclaimed in surprise. Then he got a light smack on the head.
Cameron slowly pulled back his hand, glaring at him. “Mind your words.
“Sorry. But picking herbs? You must be joking” Gavin frowned.
Cameron was a business genius, with few rivals. But picking herbs was completely different from business.
One careless step could make him fall off a cliff and lose his life.
“Im going to pick herbs. But Grandpa was worried, so he asked Cameron to come with me,” Yanina explained.
“There are snakes on the mountain, so you’d better not join us,” Cameron reminded them.
Cathy was frightened by the word “snakes. “Oh no. I’m scared of snakes, Gavin, you shouldn’t go either…
After some discussion, they decided not to go.
Yanina checked the time and said to Cameron. “I’ll take some stuff
Then she said to Carl, ‘Grandpa, I’m off to pick herbs. No need to wait for us for lunch.”
Carl nodded, gave some advice, and saw them out of the village
Yanina checked the time again. “The driver will take us to the town, and then we’ll head to my hometown.”
Picking herbs was just an excuse; what she wanted to do was go back to her hometown. But she couldn’t let Carl and the others know, So they’d have to get off early and walk there.
Cameron didn’t move and asked softly, “Do you remember what you said yesterday?”
