Chapter 112
Yanina tried to hold back her anger.
Cameron glanced sideways behind him, making sure Wayne had walked away, and then let go of Yanina’s hand.
“I promised I wouldn’t cross the line,” Cameron said, stepping back from Yanina.
Yanina glanced at him. “Remember what you said!
“Let’s go.
As Yanina spoke, she led Cameron through the alley,
Ten minutes later, after several twists and turns, they arrived at a rundown house.
The house was old and rundown, with parts of the walls that had collapsed, and the grass on the eaves had grown really tal
Yanina led Cameron through a gap in the collapsed wall.
Every corner here held memories from her childhood and moments with her parents and grandfather.
Yanina’s tears had soaked her mask.
She originally thought she would have to crawl in through the skylight, but now the house was broken and hadn’t been prepared for years. The locks on the windows and doors had also been broken.
Yanina thought. No wonder the “Heritage Rose Tea Set appeared at the auction. Maybe some scavengers found it while rummaging through the house and sold it‘
She pushed the door open and stepped inside. Cobwebs and dust made her throat dry, and before she could cough, tears were already streaming down.
Yanina wiped away her tears and easily walked to her room. She pulled an old–fashioned red suitcase out from under the bed.
It was obvious someone had rummaged through it, but the diary at the bottom was still there.
She flipped through it and found a page where she had written down a prescription.
She stuffed the notebook into her backpack.
Before leaving the room, Yanina grabbed a koala doll on her way out.
The koala doll was a gift from her parents for her eighth birthday. She had left in such a hurry back then that she hadn’t
taken it with her.
Now, the koala doll was covered in dust and cobwebs, but Yanina didn’t mind. She dusted it and put it into her backpack as
well
Cameron glanced at his watch. It was already I pan.
He asked, “Anything else you want to take with you?”
Yanina gently shook her head. “No, Jet’s go.
Yanina and Cameron had just stepped out of the house when a group of people walked up to them
Chapter 112
The sunlight at noon was scorching, but these people seemed unfazed, with some even going shirtless.
“Why do we have to watch this place every day? Such a waste of time, one shirtless man complained while picking his teet
Yanina froze at those words. She thought, Are they here to watch my home?
Who are they?
“Grandpa has warned me not to come back, saying someone is looking for me.
Could it be these people?
What’s all this about?
Everyone hopes 1 can live a normal life and not worry about what’s happening here.
But my grandpa is still here, and my parents passed away due to these matters. How can I just let it go?
How can I rest assured and live a normal life?
Cameron’s strong arm wrapped around Yanina’s shoulders. He led her to walk forward and pass by the group of people. They acted like two strangers passing by
The shirtless man glanced at them without any reaction and continued to head toward the old house.
Only then did Yanina come back to her senses. She thought. If those people are really watching my home, that was close! Really close!
If we got out just a minute later, Cameron and I would have been caught inside the house!”
Thinking of this, Yanina felt cold sweat running down her back.
“Where should we go?” Cameron leaned in and whispered softly in Yanina’s car. They looked just like a sweet couple whispering to each other.
Cameron had been leading Yanina and she just mechanically followed him. She had forgotten that he wasn’t familiar with
the area.
Yanina took him through a shortcut and walked into an alley.
Cameron thoughtfully removed his arm and said, “Let’s get out of here quickly,
“We left footprints at the house, and they’ll also notice the koala Holl that you’ve taken away
Yanina understood the seriousness. Then both of them jogged back to where they had gotten out of the car.
The driver who had driven them there was squatting on the ground and smoking.
Cameron didn’t waste any time and got into the car at once.
He said, “Take us back! We’ll pay you triple. Just get there as fast as you can!”
The driver’s eyes lit up at once. He quickly stubbed out his cigarette, tucked the half–smoked cigarette into his pocket, and started the car. Then they left Pandosia Town in a hurry.
Are you alright? In the car, Cameron asked with concern after noticing Yanina’s pale fingers.
Yanina shook her head. “Tin fine. Thank you for today

Chapter 1
Cameron didn’t say anything. He just checked the time and occasionally glanced at the rearview mirror.
They weren’t in Yvale or any other big city. His bodyguards were still in Barcombe.
If a fight broke out now….
Cameron thought of the bunch of people they had passed by earlier. They were all muscular and clearly trained.
Then he looked at Yanina next to him.
No chance of winning at all.
Meanwhile, the group of muscular guys entered the Fulbright residence and immediately sensed something was wrong.
The bald leader noticed footprints on the ground. “Did we get burglars again?”
The shirtless guy spotted them too–a big pair and a small pair.
He said, “Seems like a man and a woman. Check what’s missing!
“We keep watching this shady place all the time. I don’t understand why our boss asked us to do this. There’s nothing valuable here!
“The most valuable one was even stolen in the last New Year!”
The shirtless guy was complaining as he searched the house.
The bald guy checked the main room and found nothing missing. Then they followed the footprints to Yanina’s room.
There was a clear gap in the dust–covered spot by the bed.
The shirtless guy said, “A stuffed doll is missing?
“That’s odd. Why would someone steal a stuffed doll instead of gold, jewelry, or antiques?”
Before the shirtless guy could finish, the bald guy smacked him.
He said, “Idiot! It means the owner was back!”
