Chapter 118
“Whether it matters or not isn’t up to you” After saying that, Cameron stepped forward and punched Steven in the face.
He continued. “You’ve messed with the wrong person and done things you shouldn’t have done!
“Steven, you’re just a bastard!”
Steven rubbed the comer of his mouth.
Cameron had put all his strength into that punch. The impact made Steven’s teeth almost pierce the inside of his cheek, and blood was dripping down.
Steven got furious. He waved his hand, and the four bodyguards rushed in, surrounding Cameron tightly.
Steven also took out a dagger from his pocket, waiting for a chance to attack Cameron.
Everyone seemingly chose to ignore Yanina and Sherman
They all thought. What kind of trouble can a weak woman and a frail old man possibly cause?
Once we take down Cameron, it’ll be really easy to handle them two!
Cameron was good at fighting. Even though he was surrounded, he could still handle the attack from four men.
Yanina took out her pepper spray from her bag. When those bodyguards were fighting with Cameron and paid no attention to her, she suddenly sprayed the pepper spray directly into the eyes of one of the bodyguards.
Then she quickly backed away from them, making sure not to get tangled.
The bodyguard didn’t even have a chance to react before his face was covered in pepper spray. Then he covered his eyes and screamed in pain.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Cameron punched the bodyguard in the face and knocked him to the ground.
He then turned and kicked another bodyguard in the belly, sending him flying over three feet away.
In just dozens of seconds, Cameron had taken down two bodyguards with Yanina’s help.
Steven was both furious and anxious. Then he grabbed his dagger and tried to attack Yanina.
Seeing the dagger, Cameron rushed toward Yanina at once.
But a bodyguard in black saw the opportunity and punched Cameron in the stomach.
Cameron felt the pain and frowned. Then he waved his elbow and shook off the bodyguard next to him-
Meanwhile, Sherman rushed over and shielded Yanina with his body.
Everything happened in the blink of an eye.
In just a second, Sherman’s shoulder was cut by Steven’s dagger and blood splattered out.
“Mr. Harnett!” Yanina shouted with her eyes filled with anger.
The next second, she sprayed pepper spray on Steven’s face.
Steven had no chance to make a second strike after his first strike was stopped. Then he was directly hit by the spray.

Chapter 118
He immediately covered his eyes and cried out in pain.
Yanina took the chance to kick Steven in the stomach, knocking him to the ground. Then she kept punching Steven violently
She shouted. “How dare you! Go to hell!
Yanina left home when she was 13. Family bonds were always trost important to her, both with Carl and Sherman.
Seeing Sherman leap forward without hesitation broke her heart.
She wanted to protect her family, those who were kind to her, and those who warmed her heart, but not stand by watching them get hurt because of her, just like when she was a child, she watched her parents perish in the fire but wasn’t able to do anything.
She couldn’t bear being so helpless.
Every punch Yanina threw was with all her strength, as if it was the only way to vent her anger.
Cameron frowned. He quickly took down the remaining two bodyguards and ran toward Yanina.
Steven was completely overwhelmed by Yanina, and his head got swollen a lot.
Cameron didn’t try to stop Yanina. He just watched Yanina vent her emotions bit by bit
When Yanina ran out of strength, Cameron supported her and spoke softly, “Yanina, take a look at Mr. Harnett’s wound.”
Yanina gave Steven an angry kick before turning back to Sherman with tearful eyes.
She said. “Mr. Harnett, how could you do that? Let me take a look!
“I’m young and strong. Taking a stab is nothing for me. But you
Sherman didn’t take it seriously. “Stop fussing. There’s a first aid kit in the room. Bandage me up quickly.
Im a man and your elder. It’s my duty to protect you. Besides, such a small wound is nothing!”
Sherman’s voice sounded energetic.
Yanina checked his wound. It hadn’t hit any arteries, so she finally relaxed.
With the first aid kit in hand, Yanina treated Sherman’s wound, and soon the bleeding stopped.
Cameron glanced at his watch and said, “The police should be here any moment now!”
Just as he finished speaking, his second assistant, Noah Bell, came in with the police.
“Breaking and entering, armed assault, and attempted murder. Steven is gonna spend the rest of his life in prison,” Cameron said, giving a disdainful glance at Steven who was cowering in the corner.
The police asked about the situation and then took Steven away, leaving the rest for Noah to handle.
Yanina also felt this was a good outcome. Then she turned to Sherman.
She said, “Since Steven could find this place, it means others can, 100.
“Mr. Harnett, come back to Yvale with
I can’t be at ease with you staying here alone.

Sherman looked at Yanina and wavered for a second.
But he had become accustomed to this carefree lifestyle and couldn’t get used to the life in the city anymore.
“I have a group of kids to teach here. Who’s going to teach them if I leave? Sherman politely refused.
But Yanina didn’t plan to give up.
She said. “The summer vacation is coming, and the kids need to go home, too,
Just spend the summer vacation with me, okay?
You can come back after your arm is healed.”
Yanina was really worried about leaving Sherman here alone.
There were lots of mosquitoes and insects around that could infect his wound, and Sherman also couldn’t apply medicine properly. He had no one here to take care of him.
“No. I don’t like those buildings in the city. They’re so ugly. They’ll ruin my inspiration!” Sherman shook his head again. Yanina knew Sherman was stubborn, so she held his arm and said. “If you’re not leaving, then I’m also staying here with you! “I won’t do any work as well.
“Where’s the quilt I used last time I was here?:
“Let’s get it aired out while the sun’s still out…”“
Yanina was acting like she was gonna stay here.
Sherman didn’t say anything, letting Yanina rummage around for the quilt.
Cameron watched them and slightly smiled.
Then he said, “Mr. Harnett, you can’t keep this address a secret anymore. If you don’t leave for a while, in less than a week, a swarm of reporters, professors, scholars, and students will come to you.
“Your dream of a peaceful and recluse will be gone.”
Sherman sighed and spoke to Yanina, “Alright, stop it. I’ll go to Yale with you.
“But I’m coming back as soon as the summer vacation is over!”
“As you wish!” Yanina looked at Cameron gratefully,
Then she turned around and started helping Sherman pack his things.
In the afternoon, they met up with Carl’s car and returned to Xasuaban.
Sherman ran into Carl as soon as he got out of the car.
The two old men snorted at the same time and turned their heads away. They both disliked each other.
Carl said, “You finally decided to come out of the mountains, old brat? Hey, what’s wrong with your face? “Got beat up by a kid?”
