“Get on the boat.” Juan pulled Debra towards the beach.
She asked, “Did Juan send you here?”
“Get on the boat first.” Juan shoved her aboard but didn’t follow.
“You’re not coming?”
“I’ll come after I take care of things here,” Juan replied, turning to the personnel. ” Remember your orders. Make sure Ms. Frazier reaches Seamar City safely.”
“Yes, sir.”
Juan gave Debra one last look, his expression unreadable. Then he turned and disappeared into the night, leaving her with a thousand unanswered questions.
“Ms. Frazier, let’s get into the cabin.”
Debra stared out at the empty road, deep in thought.

Drake must have learned that Juan had taken her away. If Juan stayed, he would be hunted down.
As the boat set off, Debra asked, “Are you working for Andrew?”
“Yes, Mr. Andrew Potter sent us to escort you back to Seamar City.‘
“Did Marion come to Orkgate too?”
“He arrived today. He and Mr. Nichols worked together to get you out of Orkgate amidst the chaos.”
“How many people did Marion bring with him?
The crewman remained silent, his eyes fixed on the dark sea ahead.
Cold sweat formed on Debra’s back. “Don’t tell me it was just those men who stormed the casino.”
Though they were armed, that was Orkgate and Drake’s stronghold, where his men were countless.
It would be hard for Marion to escape unharmed.
Chaos continued at the casino. Drake stormed into the now empty hall. The chandeliers had been smashed. Chips and broken glass were everywhere on the floor.
“Boss, be careful,” Kale warned as they walked in.
Drake ignored him, pushing forward. He had waited years for Marion to come to Orkgate,

Drake rushed to the storage room. His men were bound and gagged, tape over their mouths.

Reading Marion’s handwriting, Drake almost burst with fury. Marion had played him, and it was a sting to his pride.
“Boss! Juan is back.”
“How many people did he bring?”
“He’s alone.”
