To my surprise, on the second day of the lawsuit, he actually brought my parents over.
I hadn’t informed them about the divorce, clearly, he was scheming. He thought their presence might make me reconsider, perhaps mending our relationship somehow.
However, when I met my parents at the hotel and explained everything, they, though fond of Leon, supported their daughter first and foremost.
