Chapter 5
I watched Caleb enter the neighborhood. Without an access card, I was stopped.
I didn’t want any accidents at this time, so I chose to wait at the entrance.
Soon, Caleb came out with a young, fashionable girl.
They were holding hands. Olivia was bouncing and whispering in Caleb’s ear, and he gently pinched her cheek with a
tender look.
I clenched my coat tightly, suppressing my emotions to avoid rushing up and beating
them both.
After taking a few photos, I carefully
followed them.
I saw Caleb buy Olivia a coffee. She took a sip and kissed Caleb.
This scene stung my eyes. I couldn’t help but turn my face away.

After taking more photos, I stopped following and left quietly.
Back home, a wave of nausea hit me. I crouched in the bathroom and threw up for a long time before feeling better.
I collapsed weakly on the bathroom floor. My mind was still filled with that disgusting scene.
Although I had taken photos, I knew the law. I knew these couldn’t cause Caleb and Olivia any real harm. At most, they would help me get more assets in a divorce, but that wasn’t enough.
I reviewed all the evidence I had. A
complete plan formed in my mind.
I went to Caleb’s company and got information on their recent clients. It
quickly identified someone.
Lucas Watsons, the chairman of Hudson Group, was very influential and

resourceful.
Normally, a big company like his wouldn’t be interested in a small, newly developed company like Caleb’s. But Lucas was known for being devoted to his wife.
He only partnered with people who had happy marriages and treated their wives well, like himself.
Caleb and I had been together since
college. We were known as a model couple, which attracted Lucas‘ attention to the
company.
Of course, it was Lucas‘ support that had helped Caleb succeed so smoothly.
But what if Lucas found out Caleb’s true nature? That would be a huge blow to him…
In the evening, Caleb came home later than usual. He told me he was working late at the office.
He lied without a trace of guilt, but I knew

it was a lie. He wasn’t working late. He was with Olivia.
But I didn’t show any doubt. My actions. were as natural as always.
After my shower, just as I lay down, Caleb
came over.
He hugged my waist, and I felt his breath on my shoulder.
We quietly embraced, a seemingly intimate act, but our hearts were filled with secrets.
“Caleb.”
In the dark, I asked, “Were you at the office all day today?”
I didn’t know why I asked, but I couldn’t help it.
“Yeah, where else would I be? I have to
work hard to support you.”
There wasn’t a hint of guilt in his voice. He was getting good at lying.
I gently pushed his hand away and said,

“Let’s sleep early. We have things to do
tomorrow.”
After saying that, I ignored him and turned over, closing my eyes.
