Chapter 4
I spend the night looking for evidence that I
didn’t plagiarize, and finally find it in a very
obscure source.
This is from my college professor’s collection
of books, no more than five copies have been
published.
If it weren’t for this event, I wouldn’t have
く
asked him to scan a copy for me, and this
event was mainly inspired by it.
I organize the evidence and send a copy to
both the legal team and the manager.
I also publicly call out Chloe on social media:
“This novel plan must have come from a
obscure source, where did you get it from?”
As soon as it’s posted, the internet explodes.
“The copycat is so confident, don’t you afraid
of your whole family dying?”
“I had a good impression of your company,
but you plagiarized and didn’t admit it,
boycott your company’s products forever.”
But some rational netizens think that I must
く
Soon Chloe responds, but she denies that it
was her inspiration, without relying on any
material.
I’m humming a song and continuing to
conceive new event plans, Chloe’s plagiarism
is a sure thing.
My colleagues start looking at me differently,
and even the competitors come to mock me.
“Some people are good at acting, it’s a pity
you are not an actor.”
I’m confused, she tells me that Chloe posted
evidence.
I click on Chloe’s social media, she posted
the whole process of creating the event plan,
く
as well as a manuscript, which is the draft of
her converting the inspiration into the plan.
Every step is exactly the same as the final
plan, and there are traces of modifications in
the middle.
This evidence is like an iron hammer, nailing
me to the pillar of shame.
Chloe still advises everyone on social media
not to scold me.
“She’s my sister, even if she says I
plagiarized, I won’t blame her.”
“I hope everyone can raise their hands, I
believe she will change her ways.”
But the netizens not only didn’t stop scolding
く
me, but even scolded me more and more
severely.
“You even copy your sister, who knows if your
previous plans will be from others?“:
“When you publicly called out, I thought you
were wronged, but I didn’t expect it to be a
thief calling out to catch a thief.”
“You should be blacklisted by the whole
industry, and you don’t know how many
people’s futures you have ruined.”
While I’m still racking my brains on how to
reverse the current situation, the front desk
calls again, saying that my mom is looking for
- me.
As soon as I show up, my mom rushes up and
<
My mom commands me: “Your future
husband is waiting at home, go back home
and get the marriage certificate now.”
“And what you said to slander Chloe, wait
until you get home to settle the score with
you!”
