Chapter 7
I hold my phone in front of Chloe, smiling.
“Sorry, sis, everyone knows you plagiarized
now.”
Chloe is shocked and immediately acts like
she doesn’t agree with my behavior.
“Sis, even though you forced me to say those
things, I still feel bad.”
“I don’t want to trick the netizens en

“I don’t want to trick the netizens anymore!”
Chloe bows deeply to the live stream, full of
apology: “I’ve been too indulgent with my
sister, I didn’t know she would use our kinship
to deceive everyone.”
The viewers aren’t stupid, they naturally won’t
believe this.
They laugh at Chloe in the comments.
“Playing the victim? You said you plagiarized,
your sister didn’t force you.”
“You said we’re dumb and can’t tell right from
wrong, so what if you didn’t plagiarize? |
believe your sister, I can’t tell right from
wrong anyway.”
I remind Chloe: “The live stream was on
before I came in the door, everything you said
was heard.”
“Maybe Mark knows now.”
Chloe runs back to her room in a panic,
calling Mark, trying to explain.
As soon as I turn off the live stream, a clip is
already circulating online.
Chloe’s comment section has been flooded,
some people are even leading the rhythm,
forcing her company to fire her.
The company took the opportunity to release
all the evidence and sued Chloe and the
people who were trying to start problems.
The plagiarism charge against me has been
completely cleared.
Chloe bursts into my room, hair disheveled,
eyes red.
“Sarah Miller! Everyone is scolding me for
plagiarizing, and my company is going to fire
me.”
“Even Mark said he’ll think about the
wedding. Are you happy now?”
Of course I’m happy. Last time, Chloe used
my idea to go overseas, she won’t this time!
My mom rushes in, accusing me of hurting
her Chloe.
“You’re just jealous of Chloe, she’s going to
marry into money!”
My mom turns around and hugs Chloe,
comforting her that things can still change.
“Mark’s family said they won’t care if you quit
your job.”
I laugh to myself, Mark’s family really is doing
anything to trick Chloe into quitting her job.
They first create momentum, pressuring
Chloe’s company to fire her.
Then, use the wedding as a threat, and then
tell her she can get married if she becomes a
housewife.
This has happened to me countless times.
Chloe hesitated this time.
