Samuel, basking in everyone’s attention, had a flash of disbelief in his eyes as he looked down at me.
I supported myself on the ground, slowly standing up through the pain, a cold smile on my lips.
Seeing the situation escalate, the kindergarten principal hurried over, frowning as he lectured me earnestly:

“Lily’s mom, stop being stubborn. Quickly apologize to Mr. and Mrs. Brown. How can a arm wrestle a thigh? You’re no match for them!”
I shook my head at the principal. He stared at me and sighed:
“I know you wouldn’t lie, but reality is reality. Those century–old corporations have immense power. How could you possibly provoke them!”
By now, the smartly dressed professionals from the business cars were almost at the activity area.
Those looking for a show, Samuel’s sycophants, and the parents holding up their phones all wore expressions of anticipation for the drama about to unfold.
They winked and gloated as they looked at me.
Only Samuel stepped forward, lowering his voice as he stared at me and asked:
“Did you call them here? Are you really so petty that you have to blow this up?!”
“Don’t forget, I’m the company’s general manager now. I’m their direct superior!”
I smiled at him: “We’ll see about that.”
Seeing Samuel and I talking, Rachel quickly came over, still with that affected manner.
“Samuel, I know you feel bad for me and brought the company’s legal team to back me up.”
“But I was also in the wrong today. Let’s just drop it.”
As she spoke, she looked pitiful on purpose, making sure to show Samuel her reddened cheek where I had slapped her.
Her son Leo reached out to push me:
“Just you wait! Dad’s subordinates are going to beat you up so bad you won’t know which way is up!”
I took a step back on purpose.
Without support, Leo fell forward and hit the ground with a thud! A large bump swelled up on his forehead.
“What are you doing bullying a child?! What if he’s seriously hurt?” Samuel glared at me.
I couldn’t help but retort: “Samuel, are you blind?”
Rachel quickly hugged Leo, crying and wailing:
“He’s just a child, how much strength could he have? He only pushed you a little, why did you have to be so rough?!”
“Quincy, if you’re angry, take it out on me. The child is innocent!”
Rachel’s words agitated Samuel, who wanted to grab me.
At this moment, the men in suits had reached Samuel and me.
The other onlookers were waiting for the security guards to restrain me.
Then Samuel would teach me a harsh lesson to get revenge for Rachel.
But the muscular bodyguards stepped directly in front of me instead.
One of them grabbed Samuel’s outstretched arm and forcefully threw him two meters away.

Samuel stood up again and shouted at the security guard blocking me:
“Do you want to lose your job?! I’m the general manager, I’m the one who pays your salary!”
The bootlicker who had been sucking up to Samuel earlier cautiously looked between me and Samuel, asking:
“Mr. Brown, did these people make a mistake?”
Others also seemed to wake up from a dream, looking at each other in confusion at the scene before them.
Rachel clung to Samuel with a wronged expression:
“Samuel, aren’t you the general manager of Flying Group? You have to get justice for our Leo.”
Rachel was clearly not very bright, still firmly believing these people were called by Samuel.
Her eyes were full of resentment and smugness. She wasn’t even pretending anymore.
Just then, another group of men in suits walked towards us, led by a man wearing gold–rimmed glasses.
It was the head of Flying’s legal department, the one I called Luke.
Someone familiar with the legal world recognized him:
“That’s a true legal legend. I can’t believe I’m seeing him in person today!”
“I heard he’s had an undefeated record in litigation cases for five consecutive years!”
Luke walked right past Samuel, ignoring him calling his name, and greeted me respectfully:
“Madam Chairman, everything has been handled according to your instructions.”
His voice wasn’t loud, but it was clear enough. The people present were shocked as they looked at me.
“What, Madam Chairman? Did I hear that wrong?!”
“Aren’t these people from Flying? Isn’t Samuel the general manager of Flying? Why are they all on Quincy’s side?”
The influencer parent got excited: “Folks, there’s a plot twist! Stay tuned!”
Rachel looked a bit flustered but still tried to keep her composure:
“Samuel, what’s going on? Aren’t these people you called?”
Samuel ignored her and turned to talk to me instead.
He lowered his voice:
“Do you have to make us both look bad? No matter what, I’m still Lily’s father. Lily will be heartbroken.”
Then he commanded:
“Tell these people to leave quickly! You leave too. We’ll talk about this when we get home!”
“Quincy, stop making trouble!”
I enunciated each word: “How dare you mention Lily? You don’t deserve to be her father.”
I moved my gaze from him and looked around at everyone.
