Simon sat in the back seat of the Bentley. Having been away from Novavista for a few days, he needed to review several documents at the office. However, after glancing at them, he lost interest.
He rubbed his throbbing temples with his long fingers. Thinking about Tiana’s first night with the bodyguard made him so angry that his eyes felt like they would pop out, and his heart ached.
“Did you find out Enoch’s background?” he asked.
The assistant driving shook his head. “We only found out an average family adopted Enoch, but he left when he was eight. He was the Schneider family’s bodyguard when he reappeared in Novavista. His true identity is still a mystery!”
Simon sneered. “What real identity could he have? At most, he’s a plaything for some rich women. He wants to get famous from this dating show and plans to cling to a wealthy heiress. How humiliating!”
He exclaimed inwardly, Tiana is truly foolish and naive. I can’t believe she gave her precious experience to someone like that! Looks like I need to talk to Mr. Schneiderf
Simon was thinking about how to start over with Tiana when the car suddenly jolted. Before he could react, the Bentley was hit and pushed a few feet away. The assistant quickly turned the steering wheel, and the car finally stopped after crashing into the roadside greenery.
Simon’s body lurched forward, and he bumped his forehead against the window. Luckily, he wore a seatbelt, so he wasn’t seriously hurt. “What happened?” he asked coolly.
The assistant replied, “The SUV behind us intentionally rammed into us.”
Simon quickly opened the door and got out.
Enoch also exited the car, walking over with a cold look. He radiated a strong, chilling aura that was both oppressive and intimidating.
“Enoch, how dare you cause trouble?” uttered Simon.
Enoch glanced at Simon with eyes sharp as daggers, ignoring Simon’s threats and warnings. He opened the back door of the Bentley and picked up the small teddy bear.
Simon asked, “Enoch, what are you doing?”
Enoch’s long, distinct fingers forcefully pressed the button on the teddy bear’s recorder. The switch was immediately broken, making the recording unplayable.
Simon’s face was as dark as could be. He stepped forward to grab the teddy bear back, but the next moment, Enoch threw it straight into the ocean beneath the bridge.
“Enoch, you’ve got some nerve!” Simon immediately called the police.
Enoch shot Simon a piercing, cold look before returning to the car.
“Enoch, just you wait. You’ll be arrested!” exclaimed Simon.
Enoch didn’t even turn his head and got into the SUV straight away.

Chapter 32
Tiana saw the whole scene, and as if she realized something, she frowned at Enoch.
It seemed Enoch didn’t notice Tiana’s gaze as he started the engine and quickly drove off.
Finally, Tiana seemed to understand what he was angry about. She had given Simon that before. The latter was probably upset last night, so he took it to provoke Enoch today.
Her head ached slightly, and she thought. We only have a marriage agreement. Why does he care so much about my past? Could it be that he actually likes me?’
He wasn’t talking to her, and she couldn’t be bothered to speak to him either.
Half an hour later, the car arrived at Luminous Heights. Tiana unbuckled her seatbelt, ready to push the door open and get out. Soon, she heard the car lock and couldn’t open it.
Tiana turned to look at the man with a cold, sharp face. Her expression was tense as she said, “Unlock the door. I want to get
our.”
Enoch acted as if he didn’t hear her, seemingly indifferent. He wasn’t talking to her, nor would he unlock the car door. His cold indifference and ignorance really annoyed her.
Tiana couldn’t be bothered to argue with him, so she leaned over to his side to press the lock button. However, her slender waist was suddenly grabbed before her tanned fingertips could touch the button.
Enoch pulled her into his arms, taking her by the waist. She was forced to sit on his strong, muscular thigh. Her heart skipped a beat, and she instinctively struggled, but he held her tightly. She glared at him angrily. “Let go! Who gave you the guts to hold me like this?”
Enoch leaned in closer to her, his scent as fresh and crisp as cedar, completely enveloping her.
Tiana curled her fingers and pressed them against his chest to keep him from getting too close. “I want to get out!” she yelled.
Enoch ignored her request, his handsome but aloof face still close to hers. “Say my name,” he ordered.
Tiana’s eyes widened. “Enoch!” she yelled again.
A low, seductive chuckle came from his throat as his slender, pale fingers held her delicate chin. “Ms. Schneider, you know what to call me.”
As he spoke, his thin lips were almost touching her ear. The warmth of his breath sent a tingle through her.
She pushed against his chest with all her strength, but the driver seat was too cramped, and no matter how hard she tried. he stayed close. Her delicate eyebrows furrowed. “Get off–ugh!
Her words were silenced as his firm lips pressed against hers. He held the back of her head with his large hand, leaving her without room to resist.
Tiana was surprised when he kissed her, her heart racing up to Her throat. She had never experienced a kiss so intimate
before.
As he kissed her, her scalp tingled, and though she initially pushed against him firmly, she eventually shifted to tightly clutching his shirt due to shortness of breath. Her palms were sweaty.
He kissed her flushed cheek and spoke in a low, husky voice. “Call me honey

Chapter 32.
Tiana suddenly jolted awake, her muddled thoughts becoming clear. Her breath was uneven, and she glared at Enoch, her beautiful eyes turning red. “I don’t even like you!”
That single sentence plunged the car’s atmosphere to an icy chill Undoubtedly, she never liked him in the first place. What exactly is he hoping for? Although he knew Simon intentionally provoked him, he still lost control she thought.
After saying that. Tiana noticed Enoch’s odd expression. His deep, dark eyes grew still, making her heart race with confusion and panic. She opened her mouth, instinctively wanting to say something, when she suddenly heard the car door unlocking.
“I won’t walk you upstairs,” Enoch said in a low, cold voice devoid of warmth.
Tiana glanced at him but didn’t say anything. She got off his lap, pushed open the car door, and left. Just after she retrieved. her luggage from the trunk, he sped off.
Tiana gritted her teeth and quickly turned around, heading to the elevator.
As the car took the corner, Enoch glanced at the rearview mirror. Noticing she didn’t even look in the direction he departed, he gave a self–mocking smile.
Shortly after Enoch drove out of the garage, a police car stopped him.
“Mr. Gaston, we received a report from Mr. Fletcher saying you purposely crashed into his car on the new road in the city south. Please come with us to the police station, an officer stated
Enoch narrowed his deep, cold eyes slightly. He spoke in a cold, casual voice. ‘T’ll drive there myself. Even though he was about to be arrested, he seemed fearless, exuding the presence of a king looking down on everyone.
As Enoch was about to reach the police station, Jasper called. “Enoch, we just arrived in Novavista. Do you want to hang out tonight?” the latter asked.
Enoch tightly pressed his thin lips together and responded plainly, “I’m busy”
“Hey, did you spice up some romance on the dating show with Tana and plan a cozy night together?” asked Jasper.
Enoch pushed the car door open and got out, his expression serious. “I’m at the police station to take care of some matters. I’ll call you later.”
After entering the station, Enoch was taken to the interrogation room. Even in this situation, his demeanor remained composed and indifferent, showing no sign of panic or fear.
Enoch elegantly crossed his legs, tapping his long fingers on his knee. His dark gaze was sharp and intense. “I want to meet the chief.”
The officer interrogating Enoch frowned. “Mr. Jacobs isn’t someone you can just ask to see.”
However, the interrogation room door was flung open the very next second. The officer’s face changed drastically upon seeing the person who entered. “Mr. Jacobs…” muttered the office
Minutes later, Enoch was respectfully escorted out of the police station. It wasn’t until his car drove off into the distance that the officer remained confused. “Mr. Jacobs, didn’t he crash Mr. Fletcher’s car? Shouldn’t he be detained?”
Will Jacobs wiped the sweat from his forehead, feeling weak in the knees. He sternly scolded, “A scion is here to experience life among the common people. What do you know? He’s already sent a check to the Fletcher family. Next time something like this happens, ask tne before making any decisions!”

“W–What scion?” the officer asked.
“Don’t ask about things you shouldn’t know! If Simon asks, say the case won’t be filed!” Will ordered.
At Azure Elite Club, Simon and a few wealthy young men, including Harry Jacques, walked in.
Harry joked, “Simon, we all watched the live dating show. Was it you who spent Tiana’s first night with her?” Simon’s face suddenly darkened when he heard that. “Shut up!” he replied.
Seeing Simon’s expression, Harry looked suspicious. “Damn. It wasn’t you? Was it that bodyguard?” he asked.
Before Simon could speak, Harry said, “Impossible! For all these years, Ms. Schneider has only had eyes for you. Back then, when I confessed to her, she didn’t even spare me a glance.
Simon pressed his lips together. His voice was deep and rough. The bodyguard has been detained”
“Good for him. How dare a mere bodyguard try to take your woman, Simon? He doesn’t even know what kind of worthless thing he is,” someone mocked.
The group went to the highest–end, most luxurious lounge at Azure Elite–Sky Lounge.
The manager rushed over. “Tm very sorry, gentlemen, but Sky Lounge is booked for tonight. Could I suggest the deluxe lounge instead? I’ll give you a discount.”
Simon frowned slightly, his handsome face showing a trace of displeasure.
Harry glared at the manager. “Didn’t I already book Sky Lounge pfront? In Novavista, who could possibly have a higher status than us?”
The manager smiled apologetically. “It’s a friend of our boss. He a big shot from Jadewick, I’m very sorry, gentlemen.” Harry wondered, ‘Someone all the way from Jadewick?‘
Harry glanced at Simon and said, “Simon, I think we should go somewhere else. This place is too much of a power play!” Just as Simon and Harry were about to leave, the former suddenly noticed a familiar and aloof figure. It was Enoch. Simon’s eyes narrowed coldly as he wondered, “Isn’t Enoch detained? What is he doing here? Could it be that he’s here to apologize?”
Simon lifted his chin, exuding a superior and cold demeanor. “Did Enoch really think that a simple apology would make me let him off the hook so easily?‘ he thought.
He planned to have the police detain him for ten days or so, making sure he missed the next episode of the dating show livestream.
Simon threatened, “Enoch, you’d better stay away from Tiana, orclse-
Before Simon could finish speaking, Enoch brushed past him and opened the door to Sky Lounge.
Simon, Harry, and the others were stunned.

“Simon, is that bodyguard crazy? He actually went into Sky Lounge?” exclaimed Harry. He thought. He’ll probably be thrown out any second now!”
Simon glanced at Sky Lounge. Inside, smoke filled the air, and laughter could be heard. Several men and women sat together. When Enoch went in, no one asked him to leave.
Simon stepped forward to see who was inside, but the door quickly closed. His face turned grim as he stared at the door brictly. Then, suddenly amused by something, he smiled.
How could a big shot from Jadewick let Enoch in? It must be his powerful backer behind him! Simon thought before borrowing a phone from Harry to call Tiana.
Tiana was putting on a face mask at her condominium when her phone rang. Seeing the unfamiliar number, she hesitated for a few seconds but picked up.
“Tia.” Simon’s voice sounded. Hearing Simon’s voice, Tiana instinctively wanted to hang up.
Simon seemed to anticipate her action and quickly said, “Enoch is at Sky Lounge at Azure Elite with his backer. If you believe me, come see for yourself.”
Tiana fell silent.

Tia, do you have any idea how shady that guy is? Did you get checked at the hospital after hanging out with him last time?
asked Simon.
Tiana abruptly hung up on Simon, ripped off her face mask, and looked blank as she rushed into her room, changed her clothes, grabbed her car keys, and headed out.
It wasn’t until her car pulled up at Azure Elite that she snapped out of her intense emotions.
She thought, ‘Why am I feeling so flustered and angry? Is it because of the rumors Simon spread about Enoch, or because Enoch is at Sky Lounge?
Azure Elite was the most upscale club in Novavista, frequented by high–society elites. Sky Lounge was so prestigious that she couldn’t even book it.
‘How did Enoch manage to get in? Was it true what Simon said, that he had some secret sponsor and financial backing? she wondered.
Tiana took a deep breath and got out of the car. She walked to Sky Lounge in her high heels. Standing at the door, she raised her hand to knock but hesitated.
‘Why did I even come here? It seems like I actually care about him,‘ she thought.
Just as Tiana was about to turn around to leave, a waiter suddenly opened the door from inside. She glanced through the track of the door. Sky Lounge was spacious, with various entertainment facilities. She quickly looked around the place.
She quickly noticed Enoch at the poker table. His sleeves were casually rolled up, showing his muscular, toned arms. He had an unlit cigarette in his mouth, and a young, attractive woman sa beside him. She was holding a lighter, ready to light his cigarette.
Seeing this scene, Tiana was taken aback. There, in front of her, ood the completely unfamiliar Enoch. His handsome face appeared cold and distant yet exuded superiority. Her long lashes fluttered as she was about to look away, but suddenly….
