Caspian dragged Aurora into the bathroom, turning on the shower and letting the water cascade over her head.
Aurora struggled to keep her eyes open against the relentless water. She clawed and kicked at him, thinking, ‘He’s insane! We broke up two years ago! What right does he have to come and sleep with me now?
However, Caspian was much taller, and Aurora was no match for him. He removed his glasses. Without them, his sharp eyes appeared even more menacing.
He held her flailing arms and pinned her to the cold tiles. Then he leaned down and kissed the tears that fell from the corners of her eyes.
He gripped her slender waist with a cold expression before saying, ‘Aurora, the more you resist, the more excited I get. better behave, or you’ll be the one who gets hurt!
Caspian’s voice was deep and gentle. Yet to Aurora, it sounded like a dark spell, sending chills down her spine. She said. “Caspian, you can’t do this. We agreed never to interact again-
Caspian captured Aurora’s earlobe between his lips, biting with erce intensity. As he tasted blood, his eyes grew cold, saying. “We had an agreement, Aurora. Yet, you came to me. How can I possibly let you go so easily?”
Aurora deeply regretted her decision, thinking. “If I hadn’t accepted Jayden’s advances, I would have seen Caspian again. We’re destined for tragedy; why continue to torment each other?
You’d
Aurora’s eyes were hazy as she observed Caspian. He was slimmer than he had been two years ago. His handsome face, now tanned yet refined, exuded a cool elegance. If not for the grim expression in his eyes, he would truly resemble a noble gentleman.
“You still can’t forget me? You hate me, yet you still love me, right?” Aurora questioned.
With a sneer, Caspian tightened his grip on Aurora’s waist and replied, ‘A woman who shamelessly seeks power and status- How is that worthy of my love? In my eyes, you’re nothing but a cheap prostitute now.”
Aurora’s pupils shrank instantly. His insult hit her like a heavy hammer, striking her chest.
He started kissing her from her ear, then her cheek and neck. However, he did not kiss her lips like before, for he thought she was dirty.
Tears filled Aurora’s eyes as she wore a broken smile. Hoarsely, she asked, “If I’m that dirty, why are you touching me?” Caspian patted Aurora’s pale face and smirked. “I’ll use protection,” he said.
A tearing sound echoed in the silent air as her clothes were ripped apart. She couldn’t escape; he knew all her sensitive spots,”
In the end, he got his way.
In the bedroom, Caspian got up from the bed and put on a robe then lit a cigarette after the act. In the swirling smoke, his profile appeared calm yet chilly.
Aurora lay on the bed, her eyes red–rimmed. After taking a deep breath, she laughed sarcastically and said, “Mr. Xuereb, it looks like age has caught up with your stamina!” She was blatantly mocking his performance in bed earlier.

His performance was understandably lacking because he had not been with a woman for two years.
Au
Her words ignited his anger. He stubbed out his cigarette in the ashtray, approached the side of the bed, and grasped
chin, saying, “Aurora, I intended to be gentle with you-

He let out a sneer, and his grip on her chin tightened as he continued, “I didn’t expect you to be this needy and shameless. Fine. I’ll give you what you want!”
Then, he demonstrated through his actions whether he lacked stamina. It was not until Aurora was completely speechless. that he released her.
Late at night, Aurora stumbled out of the hotel, looking utterly disheveled. She was wearing the clothes he had soaked with red wine, looking completely messy. As she left the hotel, several people gave her strange looks.
Especially the hotel receptionist, who looked at Aurora disdainfully as if Aurora was one of “those” women.
Aurora bit her lip hard, feeling humiliated and embarrassed. When she left, Caspian was on the phone and did not give her another look. She felt like used garbage.
She did not
despise him, for she felt indebted to him. She hoped he would drop his hatred toward her and live a good life. Aurora was about to hail a taxi when two bikers stopped before her, asking, “Hey beautiful, how much for a night?”
Aurora’s face was tense, her expression cold. She ignored the guys and hurried away
The blond guy got off his motorcycle and reached out to grab Aurora, saying, “Hey beautiful, don’t go! We’re willing to pay –“However, someone suddenly kicked him hard in the lower back. When he saw who had kicked him, his eyes lit up. saying, “Another beauty?”
Tiana took a spray bottle from her bag and started spraying wildly at the guy. “Aurora, get in the car!” she shouted.
Aurora snapped out of it and quickly got into Tiana’s car. After driving for a while, Aurora asked, “Tia, why are you here?”
“I tried calling and visiting, but I couldn’t find you. I drove around half the city before I finally spotted you!” Tiana exclaimed..
Aurora felt a sudden warmth in her eyes. The tears she had been holding back finally fell uncontrollably.
Tiana kept one hand on the steering wheel while holding Auroras hand with the other. “Aurora, what’s going on? Is it about Mr. Xuereb?” she asked.
Back at the golf course, Tiana had noticed something was off between Caspian and Aurora.
Aurora closed her teary eyes before saying, “I went to school in Jadewick and even dated someone there. You know that, don’t you?”
Tiana nodded and inquired, “Is it Mr. Xuereb?”
Aurora’s lips quivered as she said, “Yes, we were together for two years, but our breakup was complicated. I hurt him deeply. and he still holds a grudge against me.”
Aurora did not reveal what happened between Caspian and her that led to the fallout, and Tiana did not press for details. No matter how good the relationship was, one had to give each other privacy and space.
“No matter how much he resents you, he can’t treat you like this Should we call the police?” Tiana asked.

Aurora shook her head and said, “I’ve already broken up with Jaylen. Caspian has vented his hatred, he probably won’t bother me again!”

Aurora and Caspian had not contacted each other since their breakup two years ago. If they stayed apart, it would remain
that way.
After all, Caspian was the heir to the Xuereb family, one of Jadewick’s four prestigious families, while Aurora was just a lowly illegitimate daughter from Novavista.
After sending Aurora home and waiting for Aurora to fall asleep, Tiana finally left.
It was already 5 a.m. when Tiana returned to her condominium, awning
Enoch was sitting on the couch, speaking Friyxian on the phone.
It was the first time Tiana had heard him speak Friyxian. He made the difficult language sound fluent and native. His deep. magnetic voice had a lazy, sexy vibe that gave off a noble feeling.
When Enoch sensed Tiana’s return, he turned slightly to look at her, then ended the call with a quick goodbye. “Did you find Aurora?” he asked.
When Tiana thought of the bruises on Aurora, she also found Enoch quite annoying. She muttered to herself. There are hardly any good men!”
Tiana angrily went back to her bedroom. She slammed the door shut with a loud bang.
Enoch’s expression grew somber. He approached the bedroom door and knocked gently. “What’s the matter? Who’s upset you?”
Tiana replied, “Co home. Stop hanging around here every day. You annoy me.”
Enoch was speechless when he heard that.
“Don’t bother me. I want to sleep,” she said.
After a shower, Tiana lay down on the bed. Since she had barely slept the night before, she quickly felt sleepy.
She did not know how long she had been asleep when the knocking started again.
Tiana was notoriously grumpy in the mornings and particularly irritable when woken from a lack of sleep. She opened the door and glared at Enoch, who stood outside with a stern expression. “I told you to go home, didn’t I?” she snapped.
Enoch lowered his voice when he saw that she was about to lose lier temper. “Your dad is here.”
Tiana fell silent.
Cedric received a call from Simon yesterday, who mentioned that Tiana had been growing close with her bodyguard lately, even entrusting the bodyguard with her most valuable possessions. Simon then urged Cedric to come over and handle the situation with Tiana.
Cedric entered the password and walked right in, spotting Enoch making breakfast in the kitchen
It was not even 7am., and Enoch was already in Tiana’s condominium, indicating that he had not left the night before Cedric sat on the sofa with a gloomy expression. Tiana, now dressed in her pajamas, walked into the living room.

“Simon called me and told me you and Enoch have been very close lately. I didn’t believe it. Can you explain why he is making breakfast for you at the condominium so carly?” Cedric #sked.

Tiana had already expected that Simon would call Cedric to complain. Her face remained calm and indifferent as she said, “Simon was the one who wronged me first by humiliating me in front of Novavista. Yet here you are, blaming me instead of criticizing him?”
Cedric frowned at his increasingly rebellious daughter and said, “You were the one who insisted on Simon before, always chasing after him, loving him with all your heart. Everyone in Novavista’s high society knew you were going to marry
Simon.”
He continued, “Now that you’re not with him anymore, how am I supposed to maintain respectability in this circle? Besides, who would dare to marry you after this?”
Tiana barely had a moment to speak before a deep, commanding voice interrupted, “I’ll marry her.”
Cedric’s expression darkened at Enoch’s words. Agitated, he sprang up from the couch, pointed accusingly at Enoch, and snapped, “Who do you think you are, daring to claim you’ll marry my daughter? Have you forgotten your bodyguard?”

tinued, “What can you provide for her? The netizens call you a kept man, and you really want to become that? Even if you do, the Schneider family won’t accept you. You’re fired as her bodyguard! Get out!”
Tiana glanced at Cedric, whose harsh and cutting words made him seem like a complete stranger to her.
“Dad, Simon has a mistress. Are you suggesting I should just forgive him and act like nothing happened once he apologizes?” Tiana asked.
Cedric’s jaw tightened. “You want a good marriage, but you can’t be tolerant? It’s common for men to flirt outside, and it’s not like he cheated on you. You’re too stubborn. When are you going to be more reasonable?
“I have given you the best of everything and never stopped you from doing what you wanted, yet you keep defying me. Why can’t you be more like Selene? She’s not even my biological daughter, but she’s better than you!” Cedric snarled.
A surge of bitterness and sharp pain overwhelmed Tiana’s chest What she resented most was Cedric’s constant comparisons between her and Selene. In his eyes, nothing she did could ever match up to Selene.
Tiana’s eyes reddened as she lowered her gaze, attempting to hide the vulnerability and hurt within them. She scoffed, “Anyone who doesn’t know might think Selene is your real daughter
“Tiana!” Cedric shouted, his anger boiling.
Tiana took a deep breath, composed herself, and looked Cedric in the eye. “Regardless of what you say, I’m not going back to Simon. In fact, I’ve already married Enoch!” she retorted.
Cedric and Enoch were at a loss for words. There was a moment of silence.
Tiana knew that Cedric would not believe her. She went to her room and took out the marriage certificate.
Cedric’s eyes widened in disbelief as he examined the marriage certificate; it appeared genuine. His expression darkened as he said, “Tiana, have you lost your mind?”
me?
‘She has married a bodyguard without even telling Cedric thought, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he glared at Enoch with intense anger. “Who gave you the audacity to marry my daughter?” Cedric asked angrily.

Cedric grabbed the ashtray from the coffee table and flung it at Enoch.
“Dad, no!” Tiana tried to stop Cedric, but it was too late.
The ashtray struck Enoch on the head, immediately breaking the skin and causing blood to flow down.
“Can’t you dodge?” Tiana asked, frowning at Enoch, whose expression remained stern and indifferent. She thought. With his skills, he could have easily avoided it.”
“It’s true I married Ms. Schneider without asking you first. I understand why you’re mad as my father–in–law,” Enoch admitted.
When he heard the words “father–in–law,” Cedric nearly fainted with rage. Veins bulged on his forehead as he shouted, “I’m giving you two choices: either go to the City Hall and get a divorce, or both of you get the hell out of here!”
With that, he glared at Tiana and added, “If you don’t get divorcel, don’t call me Dad anymore!”
Cedric exclaimed inwardly, “They piss me off! What an unruly daughter! How could she be so reckless as to marry a bodyguard so hastily?”
“I’m not divorcing Enoch for now, so I’ll leave!” Tiana declared, pressing her lips together, her expression a mix of cold determination and stubbornness.
Tiana went back to her room to pack her things. Ten minutes later, she was dragging her suitcase and pulling Enoch with her
to leave.
Cedric’s anger was so intense that his temples throbbed painfully In a rage, he seized his phone, called the bank, and swiftly canceled all of Tiana’s cards.
Cedric doubted that the bodyguard would remain with Tiana, especially since she had no money.
In the garage, Tiana carefully tended to Enoch’s forehead wound. She worked skillfully, sorting everything out for him quickly. With a sharp glare, she added, “Don’t think I’ll feel sorry for you just because you got hit.
Enoch observed her furious expression and asked, “Why did you tell your dad about us obtaining the marriage certificate?” Tiana rubbed her temples, looking at him, saying, “I don’t want to hear him trying to fix things between Simon and me anymore. Don’t think I’m in love with you!”
A hint of sadness flashed through Enoch’s eyes as he hummed in response.
Tiana sighed, “It’s good that you know your place. My dad will cut off all my cards, and I have little money left in my account. Where am I going to stay?”
Enoch watched her puckered lips and gently tilted her chin upward before kissing her softly.
Tiana was stunned. She pushed him hard and asked, “What are you doing?”
Instead of letting her go, his kiss intensified, leaving her lips tingling.
She was already annoyed, yet he still kissed her like that. Embarrassment and anger surged within her as she raised her hand, aiming for his face. “Enoch, you’re becoming bold!” she sapped.

Just as her fingers were about to touch his face, he firmly caught her fingertips. His fingers slipped through hers, intertwining in a gentle embrace.
When Tiana saw that, her heart skipped a beat.
His lips brushed against the corner of her mouth, his voice deep and alluring. “Ms. Schneider, I’ve prepared our matrimonial home. Come back with me.”
His warm, refreshing breath swept over her, making her feel like she might melt. She asked softly, “What?”
“Be good and come with me,” he replied gently.
