Tiana’s long lashes quivered, like soft feathers brushing against Enoch’s heart, stirring it up. His Adam’s apple moved sensually. With a deep and husky voice, Enoch asked, “Are you curious?”
Tiana looked into his narrow eyes that seemed deep enough to swallow her whole, and her heart skipped a beat. As Enoch was about to speak, Tiana lifted her delicate, tanned fingers to press against his flushed, thin lips.
She shook her head. “Forget it, I don’t want to know. When Enoch heard her words, his gaze dimmed slightly. Tiana tightened her grip on the oversized suit draped over her shoulders, her beautiful eyes giving him an once–over from head to

Enoch wore a crisp white shirt beneath a slim–fitting vest, complemented by a neatly tied tie. A brooch pinned to the vest added a touch of elegant nobility and professional coolness.
It was the first time Tiana had seen him in such formal attire; he looked like a noble gentleman from medieval times. Her gaze lingered on his chiseled, handsome face, her delicate brows furrowing involuntarily.
Seeing her expression, Enoch lightly touched her head. “What’s up?”
Tiana felt an indescribable sensation internally, she felt a sudden sense of unfamiliarity with Enoch as if he might be richer than she had imagined. “Enoch, do you think Jocelyn would regret it if she knew how wealthy you really are?” asked Tiana,
Eyes narrowing and face slightly darkening, Enoch asked, “Why bring her up?”
“Honestly, when we were on that dating show, I could tell Jocelyn likes you. She just thought you were broke, so she looked down on you,” said Tiana.
Before Enoch could say anything, Tiana gently stroked his chiseled handsome face. “No wonder when you were my bodyguard, those rich ladies and daughters of socialites were willing to pay a fortune to have you. I’m just now realizing how good–looking you are.”
Tiana thought, ‘He’s good–looking from every angle, no doubt. Handsome, sharp, and exudes a masculine charm?
Maybe what she said pleased him, because a faint smile appeared in his eyes. “I’m glad my face pleases you, Ms. Schneider.”
Tiana huffed proudly. “Who would like-” Not giving her a chance to say anything unpleasant, Enoch immediately bent down and kissed her.
His large hand removed the suit jacket draped over her shoulders and softly touched her back over her nightgown. Tiana was voluptuous yet petite, and his large hand could almost cover most of her back. His long, prominent fingers traced her visible shoulder blades alluringly.
Tiana felt her mind go blank from his kiss, and the skin where his hand touched was numb and tingling. “Enoch!” She pushed his head away from where it was buried in her neck, pouting and glaring at him. “Why are you always like this?”
Enoch always liked being affectionate with her whenever they were alone, like a wolf insatiable in its hunger: Tiana had no clue that Enoch had been holding back for years, his desire overflowing. He wouldn’t be easily satisfied, especially given their limited skinship thus far.
“Ms. Schneider, I’ve brought along my moves from Luminous Heights,” said Enoch. Tiana tried to kick him, but Enoch caught her leg. He held her slender waist, pulling her closer to him. Enoch’s gaze was dark and intense, making Tiana’s scalp tingle.

Enoch carried her into the bathroom, showered her, and dried her long hair. Tiana kept her face tense, glaring at him with dissatisfaction. “What a liar! You’re a wolf in sheep’s clothing!”
That was Tiana’s impression of Enoch, even though everyone who had met him in Novavista described him as cold and reserved.
No matter how she scolded him, Enoch never got angry. He gently touched her cheek. “Your hair is dry; shall I help you change?”

Upon arrival at Vivienne’s house, Tiana checked Vivienne’s pulse and then called her uncle, Michael Wallace, who hurried over. “Uncle Michael, did my dad cut off your supplies?” she asked.
Michael nodded with a deep frown. “Cedric Pharmaceutical’s cooling pills have been the talk of the town. I finally convinced him to let me supply them, and I even signed contracts with clients. If I can’t provide them, the company might face a crisis.”
Tiana knew that Cedric’s abrupt decision to cut off Michael’s supply was primarily a tactic to pressure her into quickly divorcing Enoch.

Michael looked at her in disbelief. “Tia, you know how to make medicine?”
“Yes” Tiana took out the patent certificate. I’ve patented the cooling pills 1 developed. Now, I’m licensing them to you.” She pulled out another pill bottle. “Recently, I developed a pill that revitalizes the mind, improves blood circulation, and can even treat stroke patients.”
Tiana continued, “Uncle Michael, once the cooling pills start selling, you should promote this other pill. If you do it well, your company might surpass Cedric Pharmaceutical
Michael sniffed the pill Tiana handed over. With one whiff, he knew it was made from top–notch ingredients. Deep in thought, he asked, “Tia, this is quality medicine. Haven’t you shown it to your dad before?”
“I mentioned it to him,” Tiana revealed. “He said I was daydreaming! I even showed him the cooling pills, but he didn’t believe me. He only trusts Selene.”
Michael sighed. “Over the years, Coraline has used her words to create a rift between you and your dad. He’d rather trust an outsider than his biological daughter now.”
