Tiana was still awake when Aurora returned. Enoch had dropped off some food earlier, and Tiana had saved a portion for
her.
“Aurora, you’re back!” she said warmly, walking over to greet her. But Tiana could tell something was off. She sniffed the air lightly, narrowing her eyes. “You smell like hormones, she remarked.
Aurora froze, speechless. “Did Caspian come around again?” Tiana asked bluntly.
Knowing she couldn’t hide it, Aurora sighed and recounted the events of the evening. Tiana’s expression anger boiling over. “That creep!” she exclaimed. “Aurora, we need to call the police!”

Aurora pulled out her phone and searched for information on the Xuereb family. The results left Tiana stunned. Her throat tightened as she stared at the extent of their wealth and influence.
“What a jerk! Always using his power to push people around!” she growled, clenching her fists. “I’m going to castrate him!” Knowing what her best friend was capable of doing, Aurora quickly stopped her. “Tia, don’t be rash. The Xuereb family is too powerful; we can’t just go up against them.
Tiana’s eyes burned with fury. “So I’m just supposed to stand here while he bullies you?” she snapped.
Aurora pressed her lips together. “I’m planning to quit Azure Elite and retreat to the countryside for a while,” she said. “If he can’t find me, he’ll likely forget about it in a few days.”
“He lives and works in Jadewick, after all. He can’t be in Novavista all the time,” Aurora reasoned.
Tiana sighed heavily. “If you ever decide to deal with him, promise you’ll let me know.”
“Okay,” Aurora replied with a nod. Not wanting to brood over Caspian, she picked up a container from the coffee table. “What’s this?” she asked curiously.
Tiana opened it with a small smile. “Some snacks Enoch sent over. I saved a few for you. Go ahead, try them.”
Aurora took a bite and blinked, taken aback. “Did Enoch make these himself? Looks, talent, and now cooking? Tia, you’ve really hit the jackpot!”
Tiana rolled her eyes dramatically. “As if. He’s just an idiot.”
Aurora chuckled. “Speaking of idiots… Caspian fits that bill perfectly.”
Tiana studied her best friend’s expression. ‘Is it my imagination, or does Aurora still have feelings for Caspian? The breakup clearly hadn’t been her choice. And now, with him acting like this, Aurora is obviously hurting. Men are all scumbags!” she thought.
Tiana stayed at Aurora’s place for the next two days. Aurora, after officially leaving Azure Elite, handed over her keys to Tiana and quietly slipped away to the countryside.
During that time, Enoch didn’t visit Tiana once. There were no messages, no calls–not even food deliveries. That useless Enoch! Tiana fumed to herself. Doesn’t he know I’m still angry? Is this some kind of cold war? Fine. Let’s see who can hold out longer!

The night before the second episode of “The Sweetest Match.” Tristan added Sherry to the group chat. Sherry wasted no time. Ignoring everyone else, she tagged Enoch directly, writing [Enoch, I’m looking forward to working with you]
Tiana nearly choked on her breakfast, Only Sherry would be bold enough to go after someone else’s man so openly. Her grip on the phone tightened. If Enoch replies, I’ll kick him out of my life immediately! Tiana vowed to herself.
She watched the group chat like a hawk, but Enoch didn’t respond. That brought her a small measure of relief. At least he knows who he belongs to,’ she thought.
With her livestream scheduled for the following day, Tiana applied a face mask and went to bed early.
The next morning, she woke to the buzz of her phone. Hundreds of new messages filled the group chat. One caught her eye immediately–Tristan had been in a car accident the night before and broken his leg, so the second livestream was canceled.
The news surprisingly lifted Tiana’s spirits. She wasn’t particularly excited about the dating show. With the tension between her and Enoch, their secret relationship seemed like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. With Sherry joining season two, the whole thing felt even more exhausting.
Tristan’s accident quickly went viral. After learning that he’d require months to recover and the second season of the show was in jeopardy, viewers of the show flooded social media with their reactions, mostly mocking him.
[Tristan the Fox, why couldn’t you have just died? Is my Tianoch couple doomed now?]
[Simcelyn, Aradeon, Tiarabella, and Lancaston! Tristan the Fox, you’d better start filming even if you have to show up on crutches!]
[Ah! I’m craving for something exciting to happen!]
[Darn it, you’re so lazy. Even my grandma gets more done!]
[The silence is deafening!]
In response, Tristan made a promise to the fans, posting: [Don’t worry, people! Your favorite couples will visit me soon. I’ll livestream it, unscripted, so you can see their real personalities. Some might even be closer than before. Stay tuned for sweet moments!]
Tiana was the first to visit Tristan in the hospital. She arrived with a fruit basket and a bouquet of fresh flowers.
Dressed in a sleek black spaghetti–strap dress, her striking features and bright lips stood out against her bronze skin. A pair of sunglasses rested casually atop her head. As she entered the room, netizens watching the livestream exploded with admiration.
[She’s so beautiful, it’s unreal.]
[Gaia, you’re playing favorites. She’s so pretty, while I can’t even stand looking in the mirror.]
[Gaia: Here she goes again.]
[Tiana, I’ll need to use your face in my next life. Thanks!]
Unaware she was being streamed live, Tiana approached Tristan’s bed. “Mr. Wilder, how’s your leg?” she asked.
“I’m fine. Still in one piece,” he quipped,
Tiana
smiled and sat by the bed. “You
to be in good spirits. Let me peel some fruit for you.”

Tristan glanced toward the door. “How come you’re here alone? Didn’t Lask you to come with Enoch?”

Tiana’s mood soured at the mention of Enoch, who had been missing for days. “I have no idea,” she replied flatly. “He hasn’t reached out.”
A flood of comments ensued.
[Oh no, my favorite couple is breaking up!]
[Good. Tiana’s too stuck up anyway. Does she think every guy on earth is in love with her?]
[Haha, maybe the gold digger’s found someone new. My money’s on Sherry.]
[I heard Sherry is the real deal in Novavista, a stunning socialite who studied abroad. The gold digger might be doing everything he can to get close to her!]
As if on cue, an imposing figure entered the room, instantly capturing everyone’s attention. He wore a sleek black V–neck silk shirt that subtly revealed his collarbone and chest. Paired with cropped, slim–fit trousers, the ensemble oozed effortless sophistication.
[Drool! A walking Greek God!]
[Mysterious Bodyguard’s legs are so long! Bet his ‘third leg” measures up too!]
[Gosh! You people are perverts! But yeah, I agree. Hehe!]
[Hello perverts, fellow pervert here. Haha.]
[Oops, we’re going off–track! We came for the sweet moments, not to read your scandalous comments.]
Tiana’s gaze flicked toward Enoch as he strode closer. She stiffened, then quickly averted her eyes, acting as though he were just another stranger in the room.
Enoch, however, had his dark, brooding eyes fixed on her before he shifted his focus to Tristan. Just got back from out of town. Sorry, I’m late,” he said casually, his deep voice smooth and even.
Tristan waved him off. “No sweat. Glad you’re here.”
Enoch dragged a chair closer, sitting so his long legs nearly grazed Tiana’s thigh. She scowled, her gaze dropping instinctively to the proximity of his legs.
The fabric of his pants stretched snugly over his muscular thighs, accentuating every line. There was something predatory about the way he sat–like a lion on the prowl, radiating raw, untamed masculinity. His subtle yet intoxicating cedar scent invaded her senses.
Tiana’s irritation was palpable. He hadn’t bothered to call or message her for two days, and now here he was, lounging this close without a care in the world. “What’s he playing at?‘ she thought.
She shifted her leg subtly to the side. But Enoch responded by inching even closer. The subtle movement didn’t escape the sharp–eyed netizens, who erupted in a frenzy.
Tiana carved an apple into a bunny shape and handed it to Tristan. “Here you go, Mr. Wilder. Have some fruit
Tristan accepted the slice with a chuckle. “Didn’t know you had such a creative side.”
Tiana smiled in response.

“Ms. Schneider came a deep, deliberate voice, “Td like one too.” Hearing his voice, Tiana turned, her lips parting in surprise.
Enoch’s hair had grown longer. A few loose strands fell across his forehead, giving him an almost boyish charm that contrasted with his otherwise commanding presence. His lips curved faintly, and his piercing eyes locked onto hers, as though pulling her in.
Tiana’s heart fluttered involuntarily. Still, she couldn’t sub Enoch in front of Tristan. With a hint of reluctance, she held out an apple slice to him.
She expected him to take it from her hand, as Tristan had, but Enoch leaned in. His face moved toward hers, his lips brushing against the fruit in her hand. He bit into it, his warm lips grazing her fingers in the process.
Tiana froze. The heat of his breath, the gentle pressure of his mouth–it all sent an electric jolt straight through her. “W- What on earth is he trying to do? she thought.
Tristan, watching closely, looked as though he might jump out of his plaster cast from excitement. Meanwhile, the comments section exploded into chaos.
[My favorite couple broke up and got back together!)
[Well, this caught me off–guard! I’m grinning like an idiot!)
[Did anyone notice the way Mysterious Bodyguard looked at Tiana? Gosh, I’m smitten!]
Tristan, always the opportunist, saw an opening, Clearing his throat dramatically, he said, “Tm injured, so the second livestream was canceled. Now I’m dealing with a tidal wave of criticism. To make it up to our viewers, I’ll ask you both some fun questions.”
He held up his phone, pretending to record. Tiana yanked her hand back from Enoch’s lips, giving him a discreet kick before plastering on a cool smile. “Ask away, Mr. Wilder. I’ll play along,” she said.
Excitement was all over Tiana’s face when she heard that the second season had been canceled.
Tristan cleared his throat, diving right in. “Rapid–fire questions. No time to think. Just answer me right away.”
Tiana gave a silent thumbs–up.
With that, he began, “What’s your favorite food?”
“Pork ribs,” she replied.
“What’s your favorite fruit?” he continued.
“Peaches,” answered Tiana.
“What’s Enoch’s favorite underwear color?” Tristan asked again.
“Black,” Tiana replied instinctively.
the words were out of her mouth
A brief silence hung in the air as soon as the
Enoch’s lips quirked into a smirk as his sharp eyes narrowed. “Ms. Schneider, you know me so well,” he murmured, his voice a low, teasing drawl.

Tiana realized what she had said and let out a cry. “Tristan the Fox, you tricked ine!”

Tristan flashed a sly smile. That was smooth. Have you seen Enoch’s underwear color in private?” he teased.
The comments section roared with laughter and accusations: [Mr. Wilder, you’re awesome!]
[Tristan the Fox is pure genius. Tiana, just admit you’ve seen it already!]
[Tiana is such a perv! She’s not even letting her bodyguard off. Yuck!
Tiana’s face turned crimson. “Of course I haven’t seen it!” she shot back. “He wears black a lot–it was an educated guess That’s all! We’re totally innocent.”
Enoch held back his laughter, clearly enjoying her flustered state.
Tristan shifted his attention. “All right, Enoch. When was your last kiss?”
“Two days ago, in my study,” Enoch replied with a smirk.
Tiana’s breath hitched. ‘What is he trying to do now?‘ she pondered. ‘Is he going to expose our relationship?
– you
Tristan leaned forward, his interest piqued. “Was it Tiana? Are you two secretly together? How many times kissed?” Tiana was dumbfounded. Tristan the Fox, you might as well switch career paths to become a paparazzi!‘ she grumbled inwardly.
Before Enoch could answer, she pinched his thigh under the table, her nails digging in hard. Without flinching. Enoch kept his composure, though his smirk deepened. “It was Moki,” he said calmly.
The comments went wild again: [Ah! My ship sunk again! Mysterious Bodyguard, is Moki hotter than Tiana]
[Ha. That gold digger hooked up with a sugar mommy called Moki!]
[Isn’t Moki around 60? Isn’t it gross being with her, you gold digger?]
Tristan’s eyes widened in shock. “Who’s Moki?” She clearly wasn’t one of the participants on his show.
Enoch leaned back, casually draping his arm over Tiana’s chair in a way that made it look like he was holding her in his embrace. “Moki’s my cat,’ he said plainly.
[Whoever
id Moki was an old lady over 60 years old, come clean right now!]
[Haha, those internet trolls must be embarrassed by now!
[A cool bodyguard who owns a cat? I wish I were Moki!]
Tristan immediately detected Enoch’s lie, “I’m not buying that,” he scoffed. “You need to spill a secret that will blow everyone’s mind!”
Enoch raised an eyebrow, turning toward Tiana. Then, a faint smile crossed his lips. “All right,” he said. “I’ve liked a girl for over ten years now. Does that count as a mind–blowing secret?”
