Enoch didn’t spare Tiana a single glance. He simply flung her small hand off his thigh with an air of indifference. He was cold–blooded, ruthless, and unfair.
Tiana felt her blood boil.
When he drove back to Wisteria Heights, he didn’t acknowledge her and went straight to the study. Tiana was so angry she nearly fainted.
Enoch clearly noticed her discomfort but chose to ignore her on purpose. It was intentional. She wanted to tear him into pieces.
The drug Simon had slipped into her drink was potent. Other than using a man as an antidote, the only option was a cold shower. She had already taken one at the hotel earlier, which provided temporary relief from the heat coursing through her body.
Now that Enoch was ignoring her, she had no choice but to keep taking cold showers
She cursed Simon as vulgarly as she could while doing so. She never realized how despicable he was. He knew she was married but still resorted to such shameless tactics.
When she used to chase after him, he didn’t cherish her, and now, he was behaving like that.
The more Tiana thought about it, the angrier she became. All those years of liking him were a waste. Even the image of him saving her from those hooligans back then had shattered tonight.
Cold water poured over her head, cascading down her long lashes, which trembled with each drop. She showered for nearly half an hour, but the boiling, roaring sensation within her veins remained
“This is bad! I’d have to swallow my pride and plead with Enoch for help now,‘ she thought.
Wrapped in a towel, Tiana stepped out of the bathroom and entered the dressing room. Initially, she planned to pick a sexy nightgown, but her fingertips landed on Enoch’s tailored black shirt.
After putting it on, Tiana padded her bare feet to study. She knocked on the door, but there was no response.
Taking a deep breath, she pushed the door open.
Inside, Enoch sat at his desk, staring at his computer. He didn’t even glance up at her. He was deliberately ignoring her completely.
Tiana gritted her teeth so hard it hurt.
Her misty eyes locked onto Enoch, whose handsome, sharp features remained emotionless. His whole demeanor exuded an unapproachable, aloof coldness.
Dressed in a black mandarin–collar shirt buttoned to the top, snug against his prominent Adam’s apple, he looked both ascetic and alluring. His stern and unsmiling expression gave him a mature, steady air.
“Enoch!” she called, her breath uneven.
Finally, he raised his head. His gaze was deep and chilly
Tiana felt a shiver run down her spine under his gaze. “This damn man! He was just being sweet to me a few days ago,

now he’s completely changed!’ she scolded inwardly.
She strode over to him and said, “Enoch, I don’t feel so good.”
His gaze fell on the black shirt she was wearing. The top two buttons were undone, revealing her delicate collarbone and at hint of her curves.
She didn’t dry her hair after her shower. Her damp hair cascaded over her shoulders, and her flawless face flushed a rosy red, like a blooming rose–vivid and alluring.
At that moment, she exuded a dangerous, irresistible charm, like a deadly poppy
flower.
Enoch’s gaze swept over her legs, which were tanned and long, peeking out from under her shirt. His eyes flickered with a faint dark heat, but his face remained expressionless.
eren’t you so capable before? Didn’t need me then?” he said coolly, the anger he had been holding onto since she went to meet Simon alone bubbling up.
Tiana bit her lip so hard it turned red as she looked at his harsh, unyielding side profile. She wanted to turn and leave, but her feet felt glued to the floor.
Her shimmering eyes stayed fixed on his chiseled, perfect face as her desire reached an unbearable peak.
She couldn’t leave. Enoch was her perfect antidote.
Tiana moved closer, her fingers resting lightly on the back of his hand, tracing delicate lines. Her voice was soft and sweet as she said, “Enoch, it’s late. Aren’t you coming to bed?”
Enoch’s hand tingled and itched where her fingers grazed. He pulled it back, leaning into the leather chair as his piercing gaze bore into her. “No,” he replied.
Tiana’s breathing grew heavier. She wasn’t sure if it was from anger or the heat racing through her blood. Under normal circumstances, she would never bother to coax him. But now, staying calm is impossible.
“I need you. Can’t you help me out?” Tiana asked.
A cold laugh rumbled in his throat as he said, “When you went to meet Simon alone, why didn’t you think of asking for my help?”
Tiana was speechless. She thought, ‘He’s still angry about that?‘
“The situation was urgent. I was afraid he’d destroy my mom’s brooch. I didn’t think of contacting you in time!” she explained.
The more she explained, the darker his expression grew.
“Ms. Schneider, I guess I mean nothing to you,” Enoch said.
Tiana frowned, grabbing his hand and placing it over her chest. “How could you mean nothing to me? I need you so much right now! Feel my heartbeat–it’s racing!” she said.
Enoch nearly laughed at her brazen words. His dark eyes locked onto hers. “Seduction won’t work. Go to bed early,” replied.
Tiana was on the verge of collapse. Enoch was just too mean.

“Enoch, didn’t you say in the car carlier that your desires were strong? Feeling drained now? she teased.

Enoch raised an eyebrow slightly and replied, “When I want you, it’s when you’re fully conscious. Now that you’re under the influence of the drug and not in your right mind, you’ll blame me when you wake up tomorrow.”
Tiana was at a loss for words. He’s even bringing up old grudges with me now the exclaimed inwardly.
She said, “I’m still somewhat clear–headed. I won’t hold it against you tomorrow. Also, if you agree to be my remedy tonight. I’ll let go of that aphrodisiac wine incident from last time.”
Enoch pressed his tongue against his cheek and let out a cold laugh. “Since you managed to drink Simon’s glass of wine. Im sure you’re capable of resolving this yourself,” he said.
Tiana was so angry she almost exploded. She had never found Enoch so impossible to deal with. Fine! Even if I feel like I’m about to burst, I won’t turn to him! she thought.
“Enoch, do you really think I can’t find someone more handsome than you?” she asked.
Enoch slightly narrowed his deep eyes and said, “Ms. Schneider, feel free to go ahead.” Though his words invited her to find someone else, a chilling aura surrounded him.
Tiana stared at him with her captivating eyes, and after a few seconds, she smiled enchantingly and replied, “I won’t do as you say.”
She refused to believe she couldn’t handle him. She swayed her alluring figure closer, slightly bowing her head. A faint. sweet fragrance enveloped him as she approached.
“Enoch…” she muttered. Her soft, seductive voice seemed to have hooks, ready to pull the soul out of Enoch
Enoch’s cold, aloof expression cracked ever so slightly. His fingers resting on his knee clenched slightly into a fist
Tiana already had the allure of a femme fatale. Now, her half–lidded, shimmering eyes and flushed cheeks only added to her irresistible charm.
Enoch’s Adam’s apple bobbed up and down sensuously.
Tiana’s gaze fell on the movement of his Adam’s apple. Suddenly, she leaned forward and bit him lightly.
A low, involuntary groan escaped him. That sexy sound tugged at her heartstrings like an invisible hand
She couldn’t take it anymore. She grabbed his hand and pulled it away, climbing directly into Enoch’s lap
Her arms wrapped around his neck. Moving her red lips close, she breathed lightly, “Enoch, won’t you give me what I want?”
His dark pupils reflected her bewitching, flushed face. Their breaths grew heavier, and in the still air, the sound became strikingly clear.
Enoch suppressed the urge to pull her into his arms. His stern jaw tightened. “Will you still attend Simon’s invitations alone next time?” he asked.
Tiana obediently shook her head and replied, “No more. No more. Even if I go, I’ll bring you with me.”
Enoch’s thin lips curved slightly as he said, “Change how you address ine.”
Tiana didn’t know how to respond. ‘Is he even a man? Fin already on his lap, and he’s still playing hard to get. Is he trying to mess with me?” she thought.

However, since she needed something from him, she sweetly called, “Enoch, my dear bodyguard.”
Enoch clasped her chin with his fingers, his dark eyes fixed on her lips. “You know what you should call me,” he said.
Tiana remained silent.
Seeing that she refused to call him, he pushed her out of his arms and said, “Looks like Ms. Schneider doesn’t really r

Tiana wanted to slap him. Enoch was taking things too far.
“I’m meeting friends for drinks at the club tonight. I won’t be back,” Enoch said as he stood and headed for the door.

Tiana screamed internally. He had her completely wrapped around his finger. Quickly, she hugged him from behind and called out, “Honey, honey, honey.”
When he heard her call him “honey,” every drop of blood in his body surged downward. His throat moved as if scorched by embers.
Seeing that he didn’t push her away, Tiana boldly circled to face him and said, “Husband, let’s go to the bedroom, okay?”
Enoch looked down at her but didn’t move. This seductive side of hers was wanted to see how far she would go.

“Ms. Schneider, show me you’re serious about wanting me as your antidote,” he said.
Tiana’s beautiful eyes sparkled as her fingers grazed his chest. “Then let’s make things exciting, shall we?” she asked.
Her soft, seductive tone was utterly intoxicating. Her delicate hand slowly trailed downward, brushing over his well–defined abs.
In the quiet room, the sound of a belt buckle being undone echoed sharply.
Enoch’s dark pupils contracted violently, like a storm brewing over the midnight sea. Before she could go further, he swept her up in his arms and carried her.
He didn’t go back to the bedroom but placed her on the desk instead. His thin lips crashed onto hers in an intense kiss.
Tiana’s elegant, graceful figure leaned back, and her long, wet hair cascaded down like a waterfall Enoch’s thin lips trailed kisses along her neck.
She pushed him away lightly with both hands, saying, “Enoch, stop kissing me.”
Enoch chuckled lowly and said, “Ms. Schneider, use me and toss me aside, huh?”
She looked up at him. He was also staring back at her. His damp hair clung to his forehead from sweat, his deep, dark eyes piercing, his well–defined features sculpted, and his sharp, distinct profile perfectly aligned with her taste,
“How come I never noticed how handsome you are?” she mused,
Her words seemed to amuse him. His deep, magnetic laugh carried a note of pleasure. “How handsome?” he asked. “Handsome enough to steal my heart, she replied.

Enoch’s lips curved into a smile. His usually stern profile softened as if the snow had melted, and a warm spring breeze brushed through his once–cold eyes. Looks like I need to work even harder, he teased
With a single arm, he lifted her and strode toward the bedroom.
Her voluptuous body was tossed onto the spacious, soft bed. Enoch’s tall, imposing figure followed, pinning her beneath him. His breath brushed against her cheeks and neck, tickling her, igniting a lingering heat within her once again.
Unable to resist, Tiana wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him impulsively.

Enoch froze, startled. It was the first time she had ever taken the initiative to kiss him, albeit while not entirely clear–headed.
“Ms. Schneider, stop liking Simon. Can you like me a bit more instead?” he asked.
Tiana blinked her tear–filled, enchanting eyes. “I won’t like Simon anymore. He broke my heart completely. Enoch, I don’t dare to throw myself into another relationship so easily. I’m scared,’ she replied.
A hot tear slid down from the corner of her eye.
He lowered his head and kissed it away, saying, “Don’t be afraid. I’m here. His lips hovered over hers as he murmured in a low, hoarse voice, “If you’re scared, let me love you.”
She couldn’t quite hear what he said, his voice a deep murmur against her lips. “Enoch, what are you saying?” she asked. He kissed her cheek and replied, “I said, don’t be afraid. I’ll stay by your side.”
It didn’t matter if she was afraid to love. He would give her enough love.
In her haze, Tiana heard the ring of a phone.
Enoch glanced at her phone. It was a landline number. If his guess was correct, it must be Simon calling from the hotel’s phone.
The ringing irritated Tiana, and she reached out to silence it, but Enoch was faster.
Meanwhile, Simon had just woken up. Reaching instinctively for the woman beside him, he grabbed only a pillow. Frowning, he sat up and scanned the room, but Tiana was nowhere in sight.
He immediately called her. The phone rang for a long time, and just as he thought no one would answer, the call connected, Before he could call her name, a voice on the other end made his heart race.
“Ms. Schneider, call me,” Enoch said.
“Honey,” Tiana responded.
That soft, sultry, seductive “honey” was like a hook, pulling at his very soul, Simon’s eyes widened in disbelief. He couldn’t believe the woman calling someone “honey” was Tiana.
In his memory, she had never addressed him in such a tone. Yet now, she was saying it to a bodyguard.
*Enoch, Tiana is my woman! You can’t touch her- Before Simon could finish, another sound from the other end stopped him–a cold sound that left no doubt about what was happening.
The blood in Simon’s veins ran ice–cold. “Why? She has already been my woman tonight. Why is she back in Enoch’s bed? When has she become so shameless?’ he wondered.
