Tiana’s jobs in the entertainment industry were almost all sabotaged or taken by Sherry. However, she wasn’t worried at all. Instead, she decided to supervise at her uncle’s pharmaceutical plant.
Tia, the Ember family contacted us again. They want to buy a pill for brain hemorrhage, said Michael.
Tiana slowly handled the herbs and said, “Tell them that if they want Mrs. Ember to get better, Sherry will have to apologize and beg to me.”
Over at the Ember residence, Leilani had been bedridden for a while due to brain hemorrhage. With various other ailments she suffered from, the hospital had already issued a critical condition warning
Still, Bradley Ember refused to give up and searched everywhere for a cure. A few days ago, he had found out that a patient with brain hemorrhage had miraculously recovered after purchasing a pill from Michael.
Thus, Bradley also wanted to buy a pill from Michael. However, Michael refused to sell it to him no matter what. As Bradley got increasingly anxious, he received Michael’s message and conveyed it to Sherry.
Sherry’s eyes widened in disbelief as she said, “Dad, you want me to apologize to Tiana?”
Bradley’s expression was stern as he replied, “Don’t think I don’t know you’ve spent a lot of money recently to block Tiana’s progress in the entertainment industry. Sher, I wouldn’t interfere normally, but this involves your grandma’s life. You can’t mess around!”
Sherry frowned and said, “Dad, where in the world is there a pill that cures brain hemorrhage? Don’t let Tiana’s uncle trick you!”
As soon as Sherry finished, Bradley dropped his cup to the floor.

Bradley slammed the table and said, “Who cares how they did it? As long as the pill can be sold, it means it has passed the drug tests and followed the standard procedures.
“Your grandma used to spoil you the most. Now that her life is at risk, are you just going to watch her die?”
Terrified, Sherry turned pale. “Dad, I’m not,” she replied.
As Tiana was leaving the pharmaceutical plant, her phone kept ringing. Enoch glanced at her and asked, ‘Aren’t you going to
answer that?”
Tiana slowly answered when the phone rang the third time. “Tiana, where are you? I want to see you,” said the person on the phone.
After hearing Sherry’s stiff tone, Tiana smirked and replied, “Ms. Ember, is this how you ask for a favor?”
Sherry choked and said, “Ms. Schneider, I was wrong. I shouldn’t have gone against you all this time. I’ve talked to the magazine and the game company. What’s yours is still yours. I won’t interfere anymore!”
Tiana scoffed softly and said, “Oh? You weren’t like this a few days ago. You were all high and mighty then.”

Upon hearing Sherry admit her mistake, Tiana’s lips curled up and said, “Wait there. I’ll come over later. After the call, Tiana told Enoch to drive to the Ember residence.
Meanwhile, Sherry was worried that Tiana might not come after hanging up and went to wait for her in the front yard.
Sherry had only taken a few steps when she saw her mother, Yvonne Ember, approach with Selene. The latter was carrying a traditional medicine kit.
“Mom, why did you bring her here?” asked Sherry.
“I heard Ms. Starling is skilled in medicine, so I specifically invited her to check on your grandma, answered Yvonne
Sherry frowned and said, “I’ve already called Tiana. She’ll be here soon-
Selene interrupted, “You invited Tiana?”
“Yes. Her uncle came up with a very effective pill that can save my grandma, Sherry responded.
Selene gave her a disdainful look and said sarcastically, “To think that the Ember family is considered the wealthiest in Novavista. Tiana’s uncle only revived his pharmaceutical company through deception and trickery. Do you seriously think he has such a miraculous pill?
“As for Tiana, she only turned to the entertainment industry because she wasn’t good at medicine. Why did you even invite her? Don’t you want your grandma to get better?”
Yvonne and Sherry’s faces changed at Selene’s words. As a lady of status, Yvonne knew very well that Selene didn’t like Tiana. Thus, Yvonne comforted, “Ms. Starling. Sher got tricked by Tiana. Please don’t hold it against her. Come. I’ll take you inside.”
After Yvonne had led Selene inside, Sherry still went to the gate to wait for Tiana. Even though she didn’t like Tiana, Selene’s arrogant and aloof attitude seemed even more annoying.
It wasn’t long before Tiana arrived. Enoch was the one who brought her there.
Sherry felt envious and resigned as she watched the usually indifferent Enoch being extremely attentive toward Tiana. Sherry thought that if she had returned to the country a bit sooner, Enoch might have been her bodyguard.

Bradley frowned slightly and asked, “What is it?”
“Acknowledge Aurora as a rightful member of your family and announce her identity as the daughter of the Ember family

Bradley frowned again and said, “Dear, she’s here to deliver the medicine. Mother’s condition-

Bradley was skeptical until a housekeeper’s joyful voice came from the backyard. “Mrs. Ember has woken up! She’s awake?” Full of excitement, he immediately ran to the back.
Meanwhile, Yvonne glanced at Tiana with disdain and said, “Ms. Schneider, it seems your stepsister is much better than you No wonder people in the circle call you the airhead daughter. Looks like you really can’t compare with Selene!”
Tiana lowered her gaze, unmoved by Yvonne’s taunts. Upon seeing her resilience under pressure, Sherry looked at Tiana with newfound respect.
“Well, since Selene has already saved my grandma, you should go for now,” said Sherry.
Tiana slowly got up and walked out with Enoch. However, she had only taken a few steps when she heard a heart–wrenching scream from the back. “Mom! Mom, wake up!”
Sherry quickly pursued Tiana and said, “My grandma was awake for two minutes and then she started coughing up blood again!”
Tiana smirked coldly and said, “What’s that got to do with me? Isn’t Selene the one who can fix it?”
“Selene is completely stunned. She asked us to find someone more skilled!” Sherry replied.
Tiana didn’t stop and merely said, “I already came, but you asked me to leave.”
At that moment, Bradley also rushed out. “Ms. Schneider, where’s the pill? Give it to me quick!” he demanded.
Tiana looked at Bradley expressionlessly and said, “I can save your mother if you agree to my conditions”
Bradley thought of Aurora. With a complicated gaze, he knew he owed it to the mother and daughter. Thus, he agreed. “Okay. I’ll let Aurora into the family as long as you can save my mother so that she’s no longer an illegitimate child”
With that, Tiana took the medical kit from Enoch and followed Bradley to the backyard.
When Selene noticed Tiana’s arrival, she frowned slightly and said, “Tia, Mrs. Ember’s condition is complicated. Don’t force yourself.” However, Tiana ignored Selene.

Selene’s face fell and said, “Tia, you’re being a bit petty”
Tiana almost laughed, saying, “Well, you’re open–minded. That’s why you go around calling everyone Dad
Selene replied grimly, “Mrs. Ember is beyond saving. Don’t push yourself, or the Schneider family won’t be able to take responsibility for it!”
Tiana replied, “Don’t you know? My dad took everything from me, so I guess I’m not really related to the Schneider family anymore…” Then, without another word, Tiana entered Leilani’s room.
Selene didn’t believe Tiana could save Leilani and was worried she might get the Schneider family in trouble, so she quickly called Cedric.
When Cedric heard that Tiana arrogantly attempted to save Leilani for money, he was instantly furious. He couldn’t understand his disobedient daughter’s actions anymore. Afraid that something might go wrong, he quickly drove to the Ember residence.
Meanwhile, Tiana approached Leilani’s bed as the latter had passed out again after coughing up blood. The situation was critical.
Tiana asked Enoch to open the medical kit for her. Even though Enoch had many questions, he followed her instructions and opened the medical kit.
Tiana fed Leilani a pill, then she took out a gold needle and inserted it into one aupoint. Next, she inserted another gold needle into another acupoint on the left hand.
Enoch stood beside Tiana. He watched Tiana’s skillful movements attentively. Her face was tense, looking very serious. That

Cedric rushed into the Ember residence with a serious expression. “Where’s Tiana? Get her out here now!” he shouted.
Selene stepped forward, looking anxious. “Dad, Tia has been in Mrs. Ember’s room for half an hour. There’s a good chance that she’s too scared to come out because Mrs. Ember has passed!” she said.
Cedric felt a sharp pain between his brows. He knew that Tiana had always been a show–off since she was young, not to mention stubborn. However, how could she be so reckless when it was a matter of life and death?
Cedric went to the back and saw Bradley waiting outside Leilani’s room. He apologized sincerely. “Mr. Ember, I’m really sorry. My daughter was impulsive and has caused trouble for your family. Her medical skills aren’t as good as Selene’s. How could you let her go in and treat Mrs. Ember?”
Bradley frowned and said, “She didn’t say she can’t do it. Plus, she has those life–saving pills.”
At the mention of the pills, Cedric’s expression changed. Recently, Michael’s pharmaceutical company launched a life- saving pill specifically for treating patients with brain hemorrhages,
At first, Cedric didn’t think much of it, figuring Michael was exaggerating to save his failing company. However, he heard recently that Michael had sold several of those pills for quite a fortune.

Not only did Michael’s company make a comeback, but many clients were eager to partner with him then.
Most importantly, Michael had also released cooling pills that were longer–lasting than the ones from Cedric Pharmaceutical. Thus, their sales immediately surpassed Cedric’s company.
Who knew what incredible luck Michael had stumbled upon to receive help from a pharmaceutical genius?

Cedric had already been stressing over his company’s failure to develop a life–saving pill. On top of that, Tiana wasn’t making things any easier. If she killed Leilani, the Ember family would definitely hold a grudge against the Schneider family!
Cedric’s brows furrowed deeply as he said, “Mr. Ember, I’ve warned you. My daughter’s medical skills are not good. She’s not even as capable as Selene. If Selene couldn’t save Mrs. Ember, Tiana surely can’t either.”
Bradley glanced at the closed door and wondered, Tiana has been in there for over half an hour, yet there’s still no news. Can she really save my mother’s life?‘ After hearing Cedric’s words, Bradley also started to have doubts.
Yvonne chimed in, “Bradley, I can’t believe you’re making such a mistake in trusting an inexperienced person with Mom’s life. What would you do if something happened to her?”
Bradley was convinced by those two and thought he had made a huge mistake. Even the well–known doctors in Novavista couldn’t cure his mom, so how could he let Tiana, a small actress, try to save her?
Bradley broke out in a cold sweat as he moved forward to open the door. Just then, a slender figure came over and blocked Bradley’s way.
“Dad, there’s still a chance for Grandma since Tiana hasn’t come out yet. If you go in now, you’ll only disrupt Tiana’s focus,” said Sherry.
Everyone in the yard looked at Sherry in disbelief–especially Selene, who knew Sherry didn’t like Tiana if she wasn’t mistaken, because Tiana and that illegitimate daughter, Aurora, were close friends.
“Sher, why are you supporting her? This is about your grandma’s life!” said Yvonne as she tried to pull Sherry away. Yvonne didn’t want Tiana to save Leilani because Aurora would return to the family if she succeeded.
“Mom, we’ve already gotten to this point. Let her try!” argued Sherry.
Upon seeing that, Cedric shouted, “Tiana, come out and apologize to the Ember family!” Yet, there was no response from
the room.
Cedric’s face looked terrible. “Mr. Ember, it’s my fault as a parent. When I return, I’ll make sure to discipline her properly!” he said.
Bradley’s expression turned cold and said, “If anything happens to my mom, I’ll have your daughter taken to the police- Before Bradley could finish, a weak voice suddenly came from inside. Everyone was stunned by that voice.
