Chapter 6 Argue
When Jonathan arrived at the kindergarten, the little boy who argued with Jimmy was yelling at the top of his voice.
“You’re just an orphan! You have no mother! I saw your mother’s name at the funeral home that is owned by my family, and now your mother has been burned to ashes!”
The teacher reached out to cover his mouth, but the little boy knocked the teacher’s hand away.
He raised his chin arrogantly and put his hands on his hips.
“I have to say it because he always shows off his Superman toy.”
When the Superman toy was mentioned, Jimmy’s tears burst out.
After that, Jonathan stepped into the office.

When Jimmy saw him coming, he immediately reached out and let Jonathan hug him.
She sobbed and said, “Dad, is what he said true? I have no mother now?”
But Jonathan did not respond immediately. Instead, he picked Jimmy up and let Jimmy rest his head in his arms.
He looked at Jimmy and said.
“Why? Kristina is your mother. She just entrusted you to another mother because she had to work abroad for a few years. Now she is back. She is your mother. Don’t you like Kristina the most?”
I didn’t expect that after I died, even Jimmy would be handed over to others.
When I was alive, I couldn’t compete with
Kristina.
Now that I was dead, I had less hope.
When I thought about Jimmy who I gave birth to with all my effort, would call

Kristina his mom in the future, my heart aches.
I couldn’t help but feel nauseous and retching.
No one expected that Jimmy who originally liked Kristina would frown when he heard what Jonathan said.
He cried aggrievedly, “But Kristina doesn’t like me…”
Jonathan immediately asked, “What’s going on? She loves you the most. Don’t listen to the nonsense that your classmates said.”
Jimmy’s little head shook repeatedly, tears welled up in his eyes, but he bit his lips hard and said nothing.
Jonathan noticed something was wrong and prepared to call Kristina.
He held Jimmy in one hand and pressed the number with the other.
He kept muttering, “It’s okay. I will ask Kristina, okay? Let her tell you in person.”

But no one answered the phone after it rang for a long time.
He turned off his phone and frowned, looking at Jimmy’s face.
Being unable to contact Kristina, he could only choose to take Jimmy to the hospital for disinfection and bandaging.
When he parked the car, he unexpectedly found a familiar license plate number in the corner.
It was Kristina’s car.
He was confused at first, then became worried.
“Is someone in her family sick? No wonder she didn’t answer the phone…”
He turned around and looked at Jimmy, whose face was covered in blood, but still worried about Kristina.
If it were me, I would probably have been scolded by him.

“Maybe Kristina is not feeling well, so she didn’t come to pick you up. Can you go with me to see her?”
Jonathan was so anxious that he didn’t notice the frightened look in Jimmy’s eyes when he heard Kristina’s name.
I was forced to float along beside him, I was so sad that I didn’t notice Jimmy’s expression either.
Jonathan held Jimmy in one hand and held the phone in the other, calling Kristina non–stop.
After three consecutive calls with no one answering, he was so anxious that he almost went crazy.
He asked about Kristina in every outpatient clinic.
But all of the medical staff shook their
heads helplessly.
Finally, he gave up.
He turned around and helped Jimmy

bandage his wound.
The obstetrics gynecology and pediatrics clinics of this hospital were located in the same place.
When he was registering Jimmy, he looked up and saw Kristina.
