Julia was standing in front of the cold wall. Seeing she was about to step back, Joseph pulled her close
Julia had no choice but to ask him to leave again. “We are not husband and wife now. And it’s late at night. There might be rumors about us. Can you leave now?”

The next moment, she was picked up by Joseph. She wanted to struggle but could not stop coughing. She could only stare at him with her watery eyes and let him kick the bedroom door open and lay her on the bed.
“Where is the medical kit?” asked Joseph. But Julia refused to answer. Joseph did not bother to ask again and went to the living room to look for it.

Julia prayed that Joseph would lose patience and leave quickly. In her current situation, she did not have the energy to deal with a man who had become her ex–husband.

other hand.

“Allergic to the anti–cold medicine Joseph frowned and looked at her with doubt.
When she thought Joseph did not buy her story and tried to make up another one, he put down the pills and said, “Fine. I’ll let you rest” With that, he took the medical kit and walked out, leaving the water on the bedside table.

Julia grabbed Joseph’s hand tightly and quickly released it. She remained silent and fell into a deep sleep. It seemed that he was no longer there in her dream. Joseph pulled a wry face as he gazed deeply at Julia’s unguarded sleeping face. A gleam of light flashed through his pitch–dark eyes, and he lowered his head to kiss her on her smooth forehead.
