11 Keanu and Seamus chose to give up so easily, what justice would it do to the love they’d held on for so long?
What of the relationship they’d maintained with Vanessa for over 20 years? Could that be less meaningful than someone Vanessa only knew for slightly over 20 days?
Their gates brimmed with a stubbom light as they said in unison, “Let’s work together for now. We can have a fair fight between us later!”
Seemingly without even needing to discuss anything, they both made arrangements for what they needed to do.
Seamus went to Patricia and Betty to ask for old photos that the two families had. Unfortunately, neither family had many left.
Vanessa had burned most photos that the three of them had taken together. All they could find were just photos of them individually.
Nevertheless, that sufficed. It was better than nothing.
Meanwhile, Keanu arranged for people to sneak into the Gadsby residence or bribe people connected to the family. The wedding was in three days, and the two had many other preparations to make.
Vanessa was also a little nervous. Although she didn’t want to have any further contract with Keanut and Seamus, they kept coming to look for her.
Without knowing it, she grabbed Charles‘ sleeve so hard that it got wrinded, and it was a while before she realized what she’d done.
“Charles, what do you think would resolve the matter for good? I really don’t want to be disturbed by them anymore.”
Vanessa had long since decided to cut off all ties with them; she didn’t want to have anything to do with them at all, let alone be friends. Their friendship ended a long time ago.
It was already a blessing to have known each other when they were little and shared many joyous memories together. There was no harm in letting them stay as nothing more than memories, Not every broken relationship needed to be repaired,
Charles understood what Vanessa felt, and he pulled her into a comforting hug. Patting her gently on the shoulder, he assured her, “Don’t worry. I’ve made all the arrangements necessary. Once our wedding is over, they’ll never show up in front of us again.”
Vanessa did her best to stop worrying and trust Charles.
On the day of the wedding, grand reception was held on the beautiful lawn of an estate which had been decorated with romantic shades of pink.

None of the attending guests doubted the fact that a wedding ceremony was about to take place, including Keanu and Seamus.
Yet, even after all the guests had taken their seats, there was still no sign of the bride or groom
Kearm and Seamus both thought that Vanessa had come to her senses and decided to leave Charles at the altar, but alas, what happened next took them for a lurch. Using the latest technology, the Gadsby family created holographic images of Vanessa and Charles, using that to complete the wedding ceremony.
