Chapter 111
RAMON’S POV
I was in my office room, going through the details of a plan 1 had in motion when the doors opened, and Ivy stormed in followed closely by Blane
-Ugh, I can’t stand her! One of these days, I may just claw out her eyes and bury them alive!” She screamed,
I looked at Blane for an explanation, but he just shrugged, and dropped to a seat.
“She thinks she’s better than everyone, and I don’t blame her. For years, you’ve made her feel like she’s untouchable. So she pranced around with her head held high, and her nose turned in disgust. She adopts a gait that screams everyone else is beneath her. But one of these days, just one of these days, I’ll—she broke into a scream, then dashed to my secret stash and pulled out a bottle of whiskey,
“One of these days,” she continued. “She’ll get what she has been looking for from me. I won’t stop until she’s rolling on the ground, begging for my
mercy.”
She uncorked the whiskey, and downed it straight from the bottle.
Her throat made a gagging noise, as she pulled the bottle from her mouth.
“It’s all your fault!” She dangled the bottle in my face.
“Hey, what are you even talking about!” I asked, watching her entire body rise and fall from rage.
Ivy wasn’t the kind to step out of character. She never acted familiar with me, especially when she knew someone could be eavesdropping.
Although, the wolves in my pack knew better than to eavesdrop on me.
“You’re still asking me!” She scoffed, and took a second swig. “You should be asking that des–desperate leech!”
“Who is she talking about?” I mouthed to Blane, who kept the amused smile dancing in his eyes, but then shrugged in response.
I sighed in surrender. If she won’t tell me who had made her that upset, then how the hell was I supposed to help her?
“Do you think you could calm down enough to explain the problem to me?”
My wolf was getting agitated. We were both in a state of stress, trying to wrap the important things up before focusing on the fullmoon that was approaching.
The heatwave that had suddenly doubled since that morning, didn’t help matters either
I’d rather be running, than seated on this chair, going through documents after document. In addition to dealing with Ivy who never threw tantrums, but was now violently at it
“She walks around like she’s the queen of this pack,” she continued, pacing around with the bottle dangling from her fingers. “She’s not even in the ace to be Luna, but she thinks she’s already arrived. I can’t wait to wrap a hand around that chicken neck of hers, and squeeze it until she’s begging me for her next breath. Ugh, I’m so mad!” She stomped her foot, and drank from the bottle a third time
“Hey, that’s enough. You barely just recovered from that unfortunate accident. You shouldn’t be drinking.” Blane finally stepped in on my behalf.

was wrong
“Don’t tell me what to do, she fussed, this time, dangling the boule his way. “You stood there, and allowed her to paint a Punish me?” She scoffed. “You want to punish me?”
My eyes shot towards Blane. “What is this about punishing her Ehear of?”
He vigorously shook his head, and his hand followed.
“It’s not what you think, alplu. I only said thu so she could come with me, and the situation would de–escalate. I couldn’t punish her,” he chortled
nervously.
“No! What you did was make her feel smug by your cowardly actions. I just want to she began walking to the door, but Blane was up in a

second.
He carried her from ground up, ignoring her screams of
protest. Dumping her on the couch, he turned to me for instructions on what to do next.

Chapter III
“How would I know how to get involved if I don’t even know what the fuck is going on?!” sighed in exasperation.
“Lorena is what is going on“” Ivy screamed. “I’m sick and tired of that doodle head. She has her nose stuck in the air. I just want to twist it with fingers” She demonstrated using her hands.
“Of course it’s Lorena. What did she do this time?”
1 leaned into my seat so I could hear an explanation. It wasn’t a secret Ivy didn’t like Lorena. In fact, there wasn’t a time where she ever did.
my
“What hasn’t she done? She overheard me call her a bitch, and went crazy. If it wasn’t for the timely intervention of Blane, she would have slapped
- me.
I hissed through my teeth, the mental image of Lorena slapping my only surviving family, making me murderous..
“Now you agree 1 intervened?” Blane muttered under his breath.
“Hey, don’t gas yourself! You could have done more than that,” she huffed at him.
“What do you want me to do to her? Anything, and I’ll do it.” I said.
“Anything at all?” She asked, her eyes twinkling.
“Anything at all. You shouldn’t have called her a bitch, but she also has no right to try to hit you.”
Ivy snickered. “Forget it. I’m having a rethink about the whole situation. She does have every right to project her superiority. In the eyes of everyone, Im just a maid. What right do I have to speak so harshly about the alpha’s mistress” She rolled her eyes.
“Oh common. Ivy. You know if it was left to me, no one would have the power you should wield in this pack.”
“I said forget it. I chose to not be centred. I have to deal with the consequences. To be honest, I just needed to rant a little. I’d understand if she was only mean to me. But I can’t stand it when she’s also mean to Sonia who is like the sweetest girl ever!”
“So–Sonia was there?” I asked, stuttering a little.
I couldn’t believe how weird my entire body had gotten at the mention of that name. It wasn’t normal. None of this was normal
“She was. And hey, thanks for laying off her for a while. I know it kills you not to be punishing her right now, but it pleases me” “Don’t be too-“I was saying, when the door opened, and Sonia barged into the room.
