The moment Blane got ready to leave after our het, the drums started to beat heavily.
“What’s that?” I asked, not remembering ordering an announcement.

I could see the corner of his lips twitched, but he pretended to compose himself.

“I don’t!” I hissed.

The urge for a thrill sprang in me, and I began considering attending the search

I chuckled, and continued on my way. As I stepped into an isolated part, I caught a scent.
Stopping on my tracks, my wolf began to hump in search of the scent.
He had recognized her in a heartbeat, and that was how I knew-

I broke into a run towards the direction my instincts dictated.
