Chapter 139
Lorena moved Sonia’s lifeless body behind the house, and dumped it there.
She smirked as she stared at her skin that was growing paler by the second.
“Rest in piss” she hissed, before walking away.
She had made it a little distance away from the house, when she stumbled on Blanc.
“Why are you here?” He asked, eyeing her suspiciously.
“I should be asking you the same question. Last I checked, you have no business around these parts of the pack. Or has that changed? Are you or your way to see Sonia? What’s that smell?” She moved closer to sniff his body, and he pushed her away.
“Im not surprised you know nothing about boundaries, seeing how much of it you actually lack. Step aside,” he warned, as he moved to walk pas
her
“You’re the one to talk about boundaries,” she scoffed, and brushed past him.
He sighed, as he halted and watched her leave instead.
She was a troublemaker, but he didn’t want to poke her.
Ivy still wanted to keep things a secret between them.
Any wrong movement towards the wrong
person, and everything would spill into the open
He waited until she was out of sight, before began to walk again.
The alpha had asked to be left alone after he returned with the horrible news.
He didn’t know how it had happened, but unfortunately, they were not able to get the head of Alpha Jack as promised.
When Ramon had gotten over the shock of the revelation, they were going to be punished for not fulfilling their own end of the bargain.
That was why he needed some sort of comfort, before the punishment was given.
He made it into the general pack route without coming in contact with Lorena. For that, he was grateful.
It was silent. A little too silent maybe. Their culture was very different from other packs.
In other packs, there would be celebrations going on already.
But instead, the celebration only happened at night.
Maybe because the full moon served as a remembrance for the bloody massacre by Alpha Ferins.
“A penny for your thoughts?” Daniel crept up behind him.
“Don’t do that,” he replied.
“To what? Creep behind you, or ask you a question?”
“Both,” he answered monotonously.
“Someone’s grumpy, Ivy scolded
your
Blane turned around swiftly, and grabbed him by his neck.
“I know you love to fool around, but there’s nothing funny about being a gossip. I told you the alpha must not know about this. If you let it slip, 171 gouge your eyes, and feed them to you. Do you understand? He growled, applying a little more pressure on his neck.
Daniels hand hit his hand in surrender, and he let go.
He began to cough out the pain, until his airways cleared out.

Chapter 139
“You’re so stican!” He said after
“Yeah, let’s see if you’re singing the same tu
same tune when alpha Ramon decides on his punishment.”
“Yeah, I thought about that all morning. I haven’t had a wink of sleep in two days. We’re in trouble, Blane.”
he agreed
You more if you don’t rinse off. You smell like her,” he said, and dashed forward before he could get assaulted by Blane again.
Blaise chuckled as he watched him leave. He could be very lousy, but there was no denying his ability to crack one up.
He lifted his arm, and sniffed it. A smile spread all over his face. He did smell like Ivy. A lot like her.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t walk around with her scent on him.
Doubting his steps, he went straight to his room.
He hil the shower immediately, and began washing her scent off his body.
Few minutes later, he stepped out
d out of the shower, and grabbed his towel.
He stepped out, and was about to walk to his closet when his eyes fell on someone standing with their back against him.
His survival instinct kicked in, and he made to attack, when they turned around.
“Alpha Kamon?” He paused in motion..
Ramon gave him a once–over, and shook his head.
“What did you think you were going to do?”
He cleared his throat, and straightened up.
“Me?” He touched himself, wearing an innocent look. “I wasn’t going to do anything. Just surprised to see you, that’s all” He shr
shrugged. “Yeah, sure.” Ramon nodded. “Anyway, I came to tell you that I thought long and hard about it. I think not killing Jack was a blessing in disguise. We have bigger fish to catch after all.”
“The messenger you spoke about? Have you thought of what you’d do about it?”
“I did. It’s obvious Ferini wants me to be on edge. He wants me to look behind my shoulders in anticipation. Worried sick about him attacking my sister. I’d die fint before I do that, and that’s why I’ve trached a conclusion”
“Hmm, what conclusion!”
Hlane kept a levelled eye on him. Whenever the alpha came to p
you to serve as a bodyguard for Ivy
Milane chuckled
to personally find him, it only meant he needed him to do something very important
“You do know she’s not going
like that, right?” He asked in–between
now Whilst Daniel is taking care of our new recruits, you’d be keeping an eye on Ivy. That way, I can focus on
“And whats that going to bet Your response to Ferins, I meanTM
Alphia Ranaut’s face lifted up as a suster glint popped in his eyes
“This daughter, of course. I’ve been waiting for this day for the longest time. I think it’s
time to make good use of Sonia‘
Blanes eyes began to narrow “I don’t think I understand your point yet. What are you going to do, alpha Ramon?* Ramon walked up to lim, and tapped his shoulder gently.
Chapter 139
“You’re a loyal friend. Blane, and I appreciate your efforts. Unfortunately. I can’t tell you my plans just yet.”
“Are you going to hurt, Sonia!” He couldn’t stop himself from asking
“Hurt? Quite the contrary, my friend.”
He laughed, and turned around to leave.”
- e. “See you at the ceremony,” he said behind his shoulders, before disappearing into the halls.
