SONIAN POV
I woke up with a start whend beard a soft rapt on my door.
My eyes blinked multiple times, until it adjusted to the light, or the darkness that seemed to have descended outside.
Sliding out of bed. I made my way to the door.
As soon as I opened it. Moon fell on his knees in front
me, and grabbed my leg.
“Help me, Sonia, they’re going to kill me?” he cried out with his head buried in my

Confused as to what exactly was happening. I took a few seconds to gather my thoughts.

“She goes and comes,” I ended up saying.
“I’m tired, Soma. So tired.”

I smiled, because I knew he would find a little bit of rest for some hours.

I rose to my feet, and pushed his legs in, so he could lay properly.
Carefully, I took off his shoes, and arranged them nearly by the side of the bed

I turned, and walked out of my room, into the living room
My eyes scanned the silent room. The entire house was silent. It meant Ivy wasn’t around either.
I was going to sit on a couch, when a heavy knock sounded on the door.
I diverted my steps to the door, and opened it in hopes it was Ivy
My lashes fluttered curiously, when I saw two wolves instead.
“Who are you?” I asked, when they kept trying to peek into the house.
“The alpha sent us to find, Moon. We have every reason to believe he’s here. Step aside, so we can fulfill the alpha’s orders,” the one with dirty blonde hair said.
“Have you lost your mind?” I blurted out before I could stop myself.
I had noticed myself getting fiercer by the second, and I couldn’t explain what it meant.
They looked taken aback at my outburst. They definitely were not expecting someone like that from a lowly captive.
“Are you trying to go against the orders of the alpha?” The green eyed partner asked.
“Your orders, you mean? The only orders the alpha gave me was not to let anyone into the house. Not even Moon who you both know tried to kill me Why would I let you into the house, and go against the alpha’s orders?” I lied through my teeth…
It was the only way I could keep them away.
I held my breath, and waited. I was never really a good liar, but I hoped I sounded convincing eno

“Fine, we’ll leave. But if you even so much as sniff out Moon, don’t forget to let us know.”

They went around the building, before finally leaving
Quietly, I closed the door, and slammed back against it.
“You did well, Sun a. You did well,” I muttered, beating my thumping chest.
