Chapter 166
RAMON’S POV
I was discussing with Liam, and Blane, when the guards I ordered to search for Moon after Blane said he couldn’t find him, returned.
They entered my y office on my command, and instantly bowed.
“What’s the news?” Lasked
Peter, the green eyed wolf answered ahead of the beach blonde
“We went to Sonia’s house like you asked us. She opened the door, and said you ordered her not to let anyone in when we asked to search round the house. We didn’t want to go against your orders, so we left.”
I sucked in my breath in heavy annoyance,
Moon was definitely in Sonia’s house. She was hiding him. Hiding him from me, because she knew I wanted him that bad.
She knew I wanted his head on a platter, and because she was mad at me, she’d do everything to protect him.
“Leave!” I ordered, dragging the w
words between my lower teeth.
They bowed, and turned to their heels in sync.
Blane sensing exactly what I needed, poured me a glass of whiskey,
I downed it, and it burned my chest so well.
“She has him!” I said, right after I dropped the glass.
“It’s obvious. I wonder how she was able to convince those two, otherwise. Liam said.
When did she become such a good liar?” I asked no one in particular. “Why does she keep
saving him!”
“Because she has the good sense to know that you can’t just kill a person based on an accusation without evidence. If she believes he’s innocent, and she’s the victim in all of this, why can’t you let it go? Liam asked..
“Because I owe it to Lorena to at least give him a beating for hurting her? If he didn’t hurt Sonia, it doesn’t mean he didn’t hurt Lorena.”
I rose to my feet, and began to pace back and forth.
“Well if you ask for my opinion, which I’m sure you don’t exactly want at this point, but I’d tell you anyway, something’s fish. Maybe when you manage to find Moon, or rather, when Sonia agrees to release him to you, ask him why he’s so fixated on Lorena. You might be surprised by what
you find.”

“That’s your problem, Ramon. You think I say they’re things because I hold a grudge against her. I don’t like the bitch, but that’s not even about that. From everything you told me, she found the bodies. What was she doing around that house! Did she just miraculously venture in there to find them! This is ridiculous!” He hissed.

You’re diving into all of this heart first. Not even because you love Lorena, but because the idea of you two is less complicated. Take a step back Ramon, and drink about all of this

He walked out, not giving anyone a chance to respond.
“Bloody bastard,” I muttered under my breath,
“He’s right, you know?” Blane who had been silent all along, spoke up.
“You too!” 1 hissed.
“I didn’t want to say anything, because it wasn’t in my place to speak yet. I know you’re worried about Lorena, and rightfully so. I just wish you’d pause before making hasty judgments. Even though you don’t want harsh things being said about her you can’t deny the fact she’s an excellent manipulator. I just don’t want you to have any regrets in the long–run.”
“Blane“” I called gently.
“Yes alpha,” he replied.
“Have my messages to the seven packs been delivered?”
“Yes alpha.”

“Good, that’s what I need yours, and anyone else’s opinion on the most. I know Lorena more than anyone. I know when she’s trying to play smart This is not one of those times. She was truly terrified at the thought of Moon hurting her, or the baby. I have to alleviate her fears.”
