I think before you two get into it, at least let us hear what Cade has to say,” Castiel intervened.
“I wasn’t going to get into it with anybody in the first place. Seth shrugged.
“Oh, look at him getting spicy. I didn’t know you had that
“Jed?” Craig called in a stern voice, and he instantly went silent.
They all turned to Cade who was waiting for them to be done with their bickering, before he continued.
“Alright. Something happened yesterday. The spy was supposed to come out with a message, because Jack had asked him to direct all the information he gathered to father”
“And father sent you to receive
nt you to receive?” Caleb interrupted to ask.
“He did. I had found out about the spy already. There was no need to keep it a secret anymore,” Cade replied truthfully
“And in all of this, does father know you helped Ramon?” Wolf asked.
“Not again.” they all groaned in unison.
“Oh I need to know, since everyone is keeping a secret.
“Just let him talk, Wolf. Please, Castiel asked him.
He nodded, and sat in silence afterwards.
“I was waiting for the spy to come out,” Cade continued. “He did come out, but after he was done relaying his message.
“Another spy” Jed asked.
someone
else came
out
“I thought they were together at first, but no. This new Wolf waited for the other wolf to leave before he made an appearance,” Cade replied.
“What did he want?” Craig asked.
“That’s the interesting part. He wasn’t a spy. He was a servant who was wanted in the pack. He said Sonia was in danger, and needed to leave the pack. Tasked him how he knew, and that’s when he told me what had been happening.
“Oh this is so interesting “Jed licked his lips, and rubbed his palm together.
“Apparently, Ramon has a mistress.”
“Lorena,” Seth said.
-They all turned to him, waiting for an explanation.
He didn’t realize they were looking at him, until he didn’t hear Cade’s voice, and lifted his head to see what had made him go quier
It was only when his head was lifted, and he discovered everyone was looking at him, he realized he had spoken out loud.
“How do you know the lover’s name?” Jed poked messilly.
Seth didn’t know how to answer that question without revealing his interaction with someone that was supposed to remain a secret.
Inwardly, he chided himself for blurting the name.
“We’re waiting for an explanation, Seth,” Caleb said.
“Theard her name the day Cade and I went to bloodmoon. I heard her name mentioned by one of the servants. They were discussing her, and I overheard them say her name,” he said, shocked at how he had actually been able to come up with a reasonable lie.
“And you just concluded it was Ramon’s lover!” Wolf asked.
“Yes I did,” he replied.

They all knew that was as much as they would get, and decided not to p
Cade.” Caviel said
push it any further
Cade sighed. At this rate, it would take him forever to complete his narration, he thought.
“Anyway, the mistress supposedly had a hand in almost killing Soisia Shep plans to try again after learning Sonia didn’t actually die. He was desperately pleading for me to take her away, before anything had happened to her
“Wow, what if it was a trap? How could you have just gone through with it?” Caleb asked.
“Well, it was father’s decision to trust the boy. Since he was on the run, father thought he had nothing to lose.”
“That’s not an answer. What if you two had been wrong, and it was a setup?” Wolf asked.
“Then 1 guess we would have fallen for it. Doesn’t matter now, does it? Sonia is safe at home. It’s left for father to decide what he will do next.”
“And he has made a decision, Ferins said, entering the room.
They all bowed in reverence, as he took a seat,
His eyes scanned every last one of his son’s, as they lifted their heads one after the other.
It was time to put to use the blessings the moon goddess gave him, he thought.
Finally time to put a stamp to the complete, and unchangeable destruction of blood moon.
“What is your decision?” Cade asked.
“We’re going to burn down bloodmoon,” he replied in a bloodthirsty voice.
“What?” Seth asked in shock.
“Oh you heard me, Seth boy. We’re going to burn that son of a bitches pack to the ground. Anyone who stands against us, we’ll remind them we’re Silverpaw. The strength of the moon goddess,” he said, pride dripping from his voice.
“I don’t agree with this decision,” Seth said much to the surprise of everyone.
No one went against the alpha of Silverpaw, son or not. Especially not in public
If you had a difference of opinion, it was law to meet him privately, and air out your reservations.
“Why do you disagree, Seth?” Ferins asked, causing another joust of surprise.
Ferins would usually smack whoever went against him publicly
Perhaps, he had a bias, and it was at play.
“Because it’s time we ask questions. We’ve blindly done all you’ve ever asked, and rightfully so. After all, you’re not just our father, but the alpha of this great pack. But I think it’s time you clarify certain things. We can’t just blindly follow your decisions all the time,” Seth continued bravely.
Bravely because not even Wolf would dare to do what he had just done.
that could surprise you the most.
Ferins chortled in amusement. He had always known to look out for Seth. It was the quiet ones
“Fine,” he leaned forward. “This goes for
