Ramon almost rebuked her lies, but was able to control his tongue in the last seconds

A mixture of anger and shock rose within Lorena.
She couldn’t believe what she was experiencing in his hands.
It was like he had gone entirely off, and done a one–eighty on her…
First he tells her that Ivy of all people is actually his sister, and now he acts like she’s a cancer to him.

He was mad, and even more angry that he couldn’t pile on her the way he would have loved.

He stumbled on Blane as he was about to leave.
“Alpha Ramon.” Blane called with a smile on his face.
“Get in the car, Blane,” he said, not in the mood for stupid games.
Blane couldn’t stop smiling. The fire he used to see in the alpha’s eyes had returned.
Oh he couldn’t wait for Lorena’s turn to burn.
She had done more harm than good to everyone in the pack, and something told him her doomsday was just about near.
He entered the car, and Ramon drove away.
“Why are you smiling so weirdly? Ramon asked, unable to stay silent anymore.
Blanes smiles were starting to creep him out.
“I’m just happy you finally gave Hazel what he deserves. I can’t wait for Lorena’s head to be on the chopping block next,” he answered giddily.
“You’re really excited about everything happening, aren’t you?”
“Ecstatic!”
“Then are you ready to tell me how you managed to get the information on Moon’s whereabouts from Ivy?”
The smile swiftly vanished off Blanes face, at the same time his wolf jumped in shock

Blane went silent as he dug deep into his head in search of the best way to tell this truth.

“I could never do that!” He interrupted in alarm. “I’m happy to spy on Sonia with you too. How could I ruin that!” He grinned from ear to ear

Ramon rolled his eyes, and stopped the car just before the building Sonia was.
By foot, they walked to the same spot Ramon would stand just to spy on Sonia everytime she came out of the house.
To his surprise, there was someone with her.
On closer inspection, he saw it was Seth, and relaxed.
For a second there, he thought there was finally someone else.
The feeling that crept up on him made him realize she was who he wanted.
He couldn’t wait to get rid of Lorena, SI he could finally go for what the moon goddess, his heart, and his wolf had chosen.
