Lake in the past Tew months, I suddenly felt a familiar presence that filled me with the kind of warmth I was ashamed to admit only Ramon filled me with
It always happened so randomly, I could never fit it into a pattern.
But everytime it did, Lalways felt safe. Even my baby felt that warmth.
The day had gotten darker, and as Seth and I went into the house, that warmth followed us.
We had dinner together that night, and breakfast the next morning
He left after breakfast, and it was back to just me, and my a chill
Sometimes, I did feel alone. But most times, my peace of mind was way better than any wave of loneliness I could possibly feel.
I was reading my mother’s book to me, trying to understand all the recipes she provided, when I felt my wolf kick.
I paused at first, because it had happened so suddenly.
She kicked again, and again. Still, I waited.
I didn’t want to get ahead of myself. It could just be a knee jerk reaction. She couldn’t be back right
A crazy idea formed in my head, and I closed the book.
I rose to my feet, and walked down the stairs.
The second I stepped into the living room, the door opened, and Alpha Daisy walked into the room.
“Oh I gasped, my eyes widening
I made a run towards her, but noticed my wolf had disappeared again.
As I hugged her, I understood her sudden appearance now.
She had sensed someone familiar. Someone we also recognized as someone we cared about.
“Oh Ivy was so right!” Alpha Daisy said as she hugged me tightly. “I’m not hurting you, am I?” I felt her suddenly panic, and try to pull away. “No you’re not, I laughed, as we separated.
“I can’t believe I haven’t come all this while to see you. You do understand, right? Did you get the message I sent through Ivy? I had to organize my army. I know Ramon doesn’t think he needs them now, but when your father makes up his mind, he will,” she paused, and stared at me in awe. “Tin so sorry for blabbing so much. I’m just excited to see you after all these months.”
I laughed, giddy with excitement. Alpha Daisy was one of my favorite people ever.
She had done the one thing no one ever tried to do for me. And that was drawing me closer to my mother.
Everyone else only ever talked about how much I looked like her.
They never cared to talk to me about her as a person.
“Come inside please?
We walked to one of the rooms together, chatting all the w
way there.
“Ramon is such a food,” she said the second 1 collected her bag, and placed it in the closet. “And Ivy told me you didn’t want his around you, but I don’t care. I have to tell you the truth. And the truth is that he’s such a fool.”
I laughed, and turned to her. “I’ve missed you a lot,” I said, going to sit beside her on the bed.

“Me too, my darling. You look so beautiful! Maybe I should get pregnant too. I’d love for my skin to be as clear as yours.”
“I’m sure Tyler would be cestatic to hear that
“Oh you remember my mates name? That damn Ramon! You won’t believe he still purposely calls him every other name but his actual name.” she

I couldn’t help but laugh again. This was why I liked having Alpha Daisy around.
When I was around her, it didn’t feel like I was talking to an alpha. Rather, a real friend.
She was also very hilarious with the way she described things
“Can I touch it?” She asked.
I nodded, giving her the go ahead.
I noticed how shaky her hand was, as she brought it to my stomach.
I flipped the second she touched it, as my baby jumped.
“Oh!” She retrieved her hands in awe, then placed it back
My baby moved again, causing me to break into a giggle filled with awe
“I know that’s right. It’s me your favorite Aunty,” she said, leaning into my stomach to talk to my child. “I know you met Ivy first, but don’t be confused my dear. It’s me who is going to spoil you silly. I already brought you so many things. I can’t wait for you to see them!” She clapped excitedly.
“Between you, and Ivy, I think this child is very lucky,” I said as she lifted her head to face me again.
“I think they’re the most lucky to have such an amazing person like you as their mother. This is why I keep pointing out how foolish Ramon is. He could have the family he’s always wanted with you. It bears me how Lorena is still around. I hate that no good, bitch!” She hissed.
“Well he clearly doesn’t. I just want to he happy so I can take care of my child. Being out here makes me happy. If I could just get my wolf back. III be okay.
“Yeah, I heard about that. Didn’t you see any solutions in the book I gave you?” She asked.
“Oh I know the solution already. I just need to feel a strong emotion to apply the solution. I don’t know, but it’s difficult to feel things intensely. I thought loving my child the way I do would be enough. As it would turn out. I need much more than that,” I sighed.
“Hey, don’t beat yourself off. Your wolf never truly leaves you. They’re always there in our hearts. When the time is right, she would make an appearance, and actually stay. I want you to trust that, and not worry your pretty head about it, okay!”
I smiled. “See why I’m always glad when you’re around? You always have the right things to say.”
She shrugged her shoulders smugly. “When you grew up with fools like Ramon, and Liam, you kinda learn to be the wide one amongst them.”
I burst into a hearty laughter as she pulled me in for a hug.
“Are you truly okay though! Ivy tells me your father hasn’t looked for you yet,” she said.
“I don’t care about that. I just want to focus my attention on my baby,” I lied.
I knew she knew I was lying, but she didn’t mention it, and that was another reason I adored the alpha Daisy so much.
“The truth will be revealed, and everything will be fine. It’s just a matter of time,” she said, and kissed the center of my head. My baby kicked again, because we wholeheartedly believed her.
