Chapter 231
RAMON’S POV
I felt my wolf take over. I couldn’t stop it anymore.
I was still in my human form, but every intricate part of my body has shifted.
My eyes glowed a deep red, taking its alpha form.
My claws, long and sharp, projected before me.
My canine’s popped out, ready to taste blood.
One step at a time. I began to walk towards Ferins.
Every wolf that stood in my way, reached the ground before they could draw their weapons.
I was in beast mode, and absolutely no one could stop me from killing Ferins.
I watched that stupid smile remain on his face.
He was quite confident that he would leave this place victorious.
I was also confident that even if he won, he wouldn’t be alive to celebrate the outcome.
Because before I died, I would kill him first.
It was like more wolves surrounded me, and even more trickled in.
I wasn’t astounded by their numbers anymore.
Over such a long time, Ferins had gathered an army rivaled by no other pack in their numbers.
He also had the warriors from different packs.
The fact I was still standing was a testament to my resilience.
He knew that, and perhaps the reason for his smile.
After all, if he could defeat me, it would be the final nail in the coffin.
I growled into the air as one of the wolves leaped into the air, and tried to jump on me.
Catching them by their necks, my claws dug deep into their skin, drawing blood.
Their cry of pain coming intoxicated me. I was out for blood, and no one would be spared.
“Alpha Ramon!” I suddenly heard a familiar call.
I didn’t need to turn around to feel their presence.
Blane had arrived, and with him, some of my warrior wolves.
I returned my attention to Ferins whose smile had wiped off his face.
He knew we were not backing out without putting up a serious fight.
We may be little in comparison to their numbers, but what we lacked in quantity, we made up in quality.
My movements towards Ferins hastened, because now I had my wolves helping me.
He dropped to his knees just before I got to him.
When he rose again, he was in full alpha mode.

Chapter 231
His growls hit the heavens, and the earth rattled.
“Ramon, you’re dead?” He howled, lunging towards me.
I leaped into the air too, and as soon asx feet touched the ground, we grabbed our shoulders at the same time.
The ground began to convulse beneath us.
“Yield!” He growled.
“Never!” I growled back.
His hand went back, and then he brought his fist directly to my eyes.
“Yield you bastard!” He ordered again.
“Never!” I responded, landing a punch of my own.
We began to battle ferociously. Dragging ourselves from the air, down to the ground.
For an old man, he was strong. Jack didn’t have even one bit of his strength.
It was no wonder he was able to defeat so many packs.
They say the strength of an alpha always reflects on the pack.
I knew what I was in for, but still was willing to fight to the end.
“Ramon! I say, yield!” He caught me by the neck, and began to wrangle me like a chicken.
It was tough to breathe. It felt like my lungs were about to collapse.
I couldn’t see through the blood splattered all over my face.
Still, I wasn’t willing to give up.
Lifting my legs, I kicked him, and his hold on me lessened.
I wiggled my way out, and howled into the air, refilling my strength.
The more we fought, the further we moved from the general battle.
“Your father was just as weak, no, he was weaker than you, Ramon. It’s a whole lot more fun watching you hold on for as long as you have. I’m sure you have such heavy faith. You’ll defeat me, and your name will be written in the history books,” he broke into mocking laughter. “Such utter nonsense!” He spat to the ground.
“And you?” I asked, breathing heavily. “What gives you the audacity to think you can beat me? You thousands of warrior wolves? Are you hoping that when you’re too weak to move, they’ll come to your aid?” I imitated his mocking laughter.
“I think I’ve been too kind to you,” he said, the laughter leaving his eyes. “It’s time for us to fight like real wolves.”
Right in my face, he shifted into his wolf.
My feet move back at the sheer size of him.
Once again, he was supposed to be an old frail man. How could he be so huge?
He growled, and the forest leaves began to float all around.
I took another step back, reality hitting me in the face.
He began to draw closer to me. I was still confident I would kill him, but it wasn’t as high as before.
Closing my eyes, whilst calling on the guidance of my ancestors, whose blood still cried out for justice, I shifted into my wolf form.
He attacked, pushing me to the ground before I could announce my presence.

Chapter 231
His weight on me was such that I could barely breathe.
He growled again, and I knew it was him asking me to yield.
I began to try to move away. Nothing was going to make me yield. I would fight until my last breath.
He moved back, and jumped on me again, pinning me to the ground.
Blood splattered out of my mouth, but I still held on to life.
He moved once more, and was about to jump on me again, when I heard a familiar voice howl.
“Father!” Followed directly by a growl.
Before I could make out what was happening, Sonia was within us.
“Stop it!” She screamed, standing directly in front of him.
But instead of stopping, he raised his claws in an attempt to push her out of the way.
Strength from within flowed around me, and I swiftly got upm
Pushing out my claws, I moved through the furriness of his skin, and sliced his neck.
The cut was so deep, he threw his head back, and howled.
I shifted back into my human form, and growled. “Yield!”
